How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

They're a collection agency who called long distance. I answered phone and got dead air for over a minute, then they hung up. wtf, how do these idiots expect to collect a debt that way? I want to know which one of us they're calling for before i use EzVoice 3.2 to block their calls. If you've got collections calling then get a copy of EzVoice! it'll hang up on them after the first ring (blocked), or play a personalized greating just for them, then either take a msg or just hang up etc. Oh it'll also play the message "(special tones) I'm sorry the number you dial could not be completed as dialed. Please check the number and try again." CLICK! LOL

I just called them to ask why they keep calling, and after asking if any of a number of people lived here or not (none of which did), the CSR said they'd take our number out of their system.

They call at all times of the day and night, never anyone there. Most of the time will ring 4-6 times and hang up. Never a message
