How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

They keep calling asking for a different name every time, like they are trying tu GUESS my first name. They have my last name, but they've tried several different first names. I thought it was a phishing scam, and told them as much. I don't think I owe any debts, but I'm very hesitant to give them any information because I don't trust them.
They keep calling and asking for someone who must've had this number before. I don't answer the phone. They just keep leaving messages.

They finally left a message, but it was automated and said to call them back at an 866 number. To answer D.C.'s question, NO. They cannot call you at work or anywhere else repeatedly. If you tell them to stop calling and they continue, that is harrasment.
This is West Asset Management... more than likely over a medical bill. They are calling me at home.. my mothers cell phone.. and also started calling my husbands job today. This is unbelievable!

These people keep calling. If it was important they would leave a message when you don't answer... I called the number to verify the company name, it is still West Asset Management.
This is a collection agency. They called my cell phone looking for someone that used to have this cell phone number. Just tell them you are not the person they are trying to reach and they will put a block on your number as wrong number
Call every day, sometimes twice. I never answer and they never leave a message. I called the number from work to find out who it was. I hung up after they said they were Asset Management.
