The phone is ringing, and I don't recognize the number,
All Caller ID says is, "NAME UNAVAILABLE".
Please help me figure out who is calling and what they want

24 hour fitness
Leaves no message.
this is 24hrs fitness collections dept. they called and asked me to renew my membership, but I said I didn't feel comfortable to renew on the phone, then they offered me some free packages, but I said would go to the fitness center to renew.
This is 24 Hour Fitness collections department. From 0ct. 5 - Oct. 19, 2010, they called 38 times in order to collect my $21.95 YEARLY fee.
24 hr fitness- called my work # @ 11:49am today. I haven't heard from them since around March or April (scroll down to see my last post in March). Now they called again 6 months later when I already told them I did not want to renew my membership & if I did- I would contact them, so STOP CALLING MY PHONE. When I picked up today no one was there. I pressed ########### then 99999999999999, as I saw Andy Rooney on 60 minutes state that this sometimes stops computer-dialed calls. Guess I just have to wait & see........
I have been getting automated calls from the 24 Hour Fitness and they ask for a particular person who I have no idea who he was. I get them on my Cell everyday just about. There is no way that I could block the calls from coming in because I have a Tracfone. I am getting tired of using up my minutes for a stupid automated machine calls.
I have been getting numerous calls each day from 24-Hour Fitness collections robo-system. I press the #3 option each time, #3 is the option for them reaching a wrong number, and it puts me on hold for up to 30 mins waiting for a customer service rep - then tells me that none are available and tells me to call back later.
-
I have never been in a 24-Hour Fitness center, mainly because I know that their membership system is a rip-off and fraudulently withdraws from your checking account long after cancellation. But now I keep getting calls, as many as 17 in one hour, for a Tomika, a person I have never heard of. The calls are to my Cell phone which I have had for a little over a year now. I finally got pissed off and called their number back about a month ago and told them that the person they were looking for was no longer at this number and to stop calling me.
-
One rep told me that she didn't care if Tomika no longer was at that number, that until the account was settled they would continue to call my number. I informed her that if I received anymore calls that I would report 24-Hour Fitness to the State Attorney General. She stated "I don't give a damn what you do - we will sue you for not paying your account - your a f'ing liar and I know that Tomika is at this number."
-
I have had several reps call me a liar, deadbeat, and that they would continue to call until the account was settled. Last week I finally got extremely pissed and call the California AG's office and reported 24-Hour Fitness. The AG's office instructed me to record the calls, demand to speak to a manager of the department and gave me a case number. I finally got through to someone who claimed to be the manager of the collections department, and she also stated to me that they would continue to call until the case was settled. After she called me a liar, threatened me, I informed her that the entire conversation had been recorded, at the approval of the CA. AG's office and gave her the case #. I informed her that I was now going to proceed with criminal proceedings, a civil suit, and report them to the FTC for gross violations to "15 USC 1692c - f.

Final result - I haven't had a single call since.
Dear "24 Hour Fitness"
You are either working for this company, or are a complete and utter moronic sap.
This is not a legit way to do business. If you want to talk to me, have someone call me, a person, not a broken machine, and someone who speaks english and knows WHY THEY ARE CALLING ME. I and others owe this company nothing at all, and have to deal with repeated robo-calls with no chance of speaking to a coherent human being who has any idea why they are calling.
Repeatedly calling me several times a day. I called them back and asked who I was speaking to and why they were calling me. The guy told me he was from 24 hour fitness. When I asked why they kept calling me, he got confused and went silent. I hung up. Annoying BS.
What the he'll I never joined there 24 hour fitness and they won't stop calling me. This shit is stupid and can't stand it they call like every 4 hours and I'm a full time student and cand deal with this bull shit anymore
It's a legit business... 24 Hour Fitness.
Reasons they are calling:
-A change to your account information - they call to verify you've authorized the changes
-Unpaid Balances - if you owe them money and want them to stop calling pay your bill and be done with it
-Membership Renewal - if you are on a yearly contract, they will call you as a friendly reminder to give you the opportunity to renew or cancel
If you've canceled your membership, you may be subject to a fee, you may also be subject to a balance owed depending on the time when you canceled the account. The onus lies on the consumer to read their membership agreement to cancel properly so that you do not incur any additional charges.
I'm only a consumer here. I don't work for these people, I do, however, have an account with this company. The only times that I have received calls were for the things I listed above.
If you want the calls stopped, get their corporate mailing address and send a registered letter requesting that the cease all telephone communication with you and that any further communication is done in writing via postal mail. You will have to re-request this every 30 days and they have to abide by Fair Credit Laws to only contact you via mail.
If you are not the person they are looking for, do not speak to the first representative that you speak to. Ask to speak to a supervisor, as the lackeys at the collection call center don't give a rat's a** about you or what you say. Ask to speak to their supervisor and explain that the number they have is wrong and that you are formally asking them to cease calling you and to update the other person's account to reflect the number they are trying to call is wrong. Keep an even tone and go above the call center lackey's heads and you can get them to stop.
If the harassment continues, keep a documentation of it and THEN you can pursue them for litigation on the ground of harassment.
It's not a scam company, it's not nefarious. They are calling you because you have account issues, you owe them money or some asshat gave them your phone number wrongly as a point of contact. Nothing more.
Annoying!!! I haven't been with 24 hour fitness since 2002! and out of nowhere this past week they've called probably 30-40 times and a computer leaves a message for me to call. I am so bugged that today (Sunday) I decided to call their actual customer service number but they don't have customer service on Sundays so I'll have to call tomorrow and demand they leave me alone and then ask and make sure the rep takes me off the call list and I'll ask for verification, their name, etc. I'll scare the shit out of them until they stop calling me!
Call 2-3 times a day - never leave name - & also called my cell phone!!
I'll answer, automatic response says "please wait" repeats about 5 times
No one EVER answers - automatic response says "good-by" & hangs up
I call back the number -says enter an access code which obviously WASN'T GIVEN!!
I have NEVER sigend up, NEVER given them my name, NEVER have dropped in, NEVER have called them, NEVER have made any kind of contact with them, NEVER have dropped in and trust me, I NEVER WILL!!
Why isn't a class action suit filed?
How do we stop this HARRASSMENT for them to STOP CALLING?
24 hr fitness- I listened through their message when I answered the call at work. It says to press a number (3 I think) if they called the wrong number. I did that last week & they are still calling at least 2 times per day. I don't owe them money, but they keep calling. They called my cell 8 times in the past 2 days!
I answered the call, an automated person said "press 1 if you are first name, last name" and then it disconnected. I tried calling it back and just got a weird noise.
I called them back and told them to quit calling my business number. I was told that they would stop. It stopped for a very short period of time and then started up again. So I called again this morning. I'm going to call my phone service and see if there is any way to block them from leaving messages on my phone in the evenings and on weekends. Sometimes I come in on a monday to multiple messages.
I called back, and they informed me that the credit card on my acct was expired.
They did not ask for my new info, I will update in person at my gym when I go next.
but pretty f--king annoying to get 5-6 phone calls a day, from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
EVERY f--king day.
If they call your cell for whatever telemarketing excuse, it's not legal.
Stop whining and file a complaint: esupport.fcc.gov
To answer XX question...They call on my home phone. My son had a membership and now that it has term they want him to renew it. I told him to give them his cell phone number but instead he chooses to ignore me and them. They don't leave a message but if you answer the recording asks if you are the person by name if you push 1 which indicates you are they ask you to call. I spoke with Omar and told him my son moved out. Which I hope will stop the calls. He did ask for his contact number I was temped to give them his cell number but I told him I didn't have it at this time but will tell him to call them. Will see what happens.
are all the calls going to cell phones or are some going to home phones "land lines"
No one seems able to reach these people. Need to get the FCC involved, have them trap it. A harassment law suit would be a nice detterent
24 Hour Fitness nuisance calls coming in at all hours. Completely illegitimate claim - and they verified previously that I do not owe them any money. Avoid this company like the plague!
Called me twice today on my new Google Voice number. I didn't pick up and they left no voicemail. After looking up who they are here, I hope the bastards enjoy getting my "number is disconnected" message after I blocked the number.
These idiots have started calling daily on my cell phone, asking for a name of a person that I have no idea who it is. The automated dialer sends me to a person who wants to "verify" MY address.
Maybe this is what caused the recent LA Fitness shooting -- using the same tactics as 24 Hour Fitness.
I am not a member of this 24 hr fitness and I find it very cowardly of a company that refuses to provide it's name on the caller ID. This is a new cell # that I have so it could be they were trying to reach the previous person but still I find it cowardly and harrassing. So far it is only been 1 call but 1 call to many. The next time they call they will get a whistle blown in their ear for I will wait until a live person comes on and enjoy blowing this as loud and annoyingly as I can. Who knows maybe I will call them continusely and blow my whistle in their ears!
I've been getting these calls at least twice a day for over a month. I answered the first couple of times but there was always just silence on the other end. I haven't had the time to do anything about it because I've been traveling and working seven day weeks because of the floods in ND (I work for the Corps of Engineers). If it's 24hr Fitness I don't know why their bothering me... I have my dues set on electronic transfer. I put my membership on suspension before I traveled, but shit it's not like I'm never coming back. This is crazy.
Got three calls from this number yesterday. Wish they would stop calling.
right after I signed up for a new cell phone plan and recieved a new number - my first incoming call on the new phone. creepy.
Got called 2 times a day for a while..No msg. left...very annoying.
For the past two weeks I have received 7 calls on my cell phone from a computer from 888-900-3194.
The call says it is from 24-hour Fitness and they are looking for different people each time, none of whom live here.
The call gives me a 'Press 1 if you are this person' or Press 2 if this is a wrong number'.
After pressing 2 for two weeks I finally pressed 1 to talk to a human. The phone then shows 'Transfering Call' and I got someone in Jamacia!
They said they would remove me from their list. The calls KEEP coming!
They keep calling me about an additional member that was removed 3 months ago. Apparantly if you update your debit/credit card info it re-activates the old members in their system...idk. Anyway, they keep calling me and then saying they're going to "update their system". These people at this call center are rediculous and make me not want to not be a memeber anymore. Their customer service is lacking as well as there being a language barrier.
They call me several times a day, and when I call back it appears the number is not in service (or has callback disabled). It's getting really annoying - the few times I have answered nobody said anything, which is even more absurd.
I called the # and no one answered.
I have gotten at least 4 calls everyday for the past week. No message. No answer when I pick up my phone. Then I read these forums only to realize it's 24 hr fitness. This is very unprofessional of them!!!
Calls twice a day for past 2 weeks. Last call a few minutes ago left msg, which was a minute worth of music on my cell phone. Havent been to 24 hr. fitness since 2002 and not at current phone numbers.
It's 24 hr fitness. Yes, I know my dues are due. I made "arrangements" which they said were fine. Yet they call anyways, several times a day. I HATE this aspect of 24 hr fitness. Every year! It starts about a month before they're actually due, too! I changed my phone # to my cell, so now I see the Caller ID and ignore it.
PLUS - a machine calls and put you on hold! Then you have to wait for a real person to actually talk to you. I hang up just because of that!
They called, I didn't answer (because I was at work), and they left no voice mail. I was/am a 24-Hour Fitness member who has recently suspended my own membership. They have no reason to call me as I'm on a plan to hold my membership as is for $7 a month. If this is going to turn into a problem, then they're just going to lose my business.
called multiple times a day. when i picked up a woman's computer voice said, "goodbye."
I bought a pre-paid Net10 phone from WalMart this week. Immediately after I activated the phone and the service, I received a call from 888-900-3194. I googled the number and it shows to be 24 hour fitness, to which I don't now nor ever have belonged. The calls continue several times a day. Either Net10 has sold my number to telemarketeers, or the number Net10 assigned to my phone was last owned by a 24 hour fitness customer.
I have rec'd no less than two dozen calls from this number. When I answer I get "good bye" and the caller hangs up. I checked my 24 Fitness accoutn because I see that blog and it is fine. This is harrassment.
I get the calls maybe twice a day and its an automated machine asking for someone else. The call is obviously not for me and I don't even have membership to 24hr fitness.
ok, nearly like they call EVERY FCKEN DAYY!!!
SOMEONE PLEZ HELP TO STOP THEM CALLING US!!!
IM REALLY GOING CRAZYY!!!
im only a minor... they call me during mah classes. >.>
I've been getting these calls for the past 2 weeks non stop multiple times a day. They even woke me up on a Saturday morning at 6 am....the only day of the week I get to sleep in. Finally they transferred me to someone claiming to be 24 hr fitness. The person was very unprofessional and didn't seem like she would be working for a big company as 24 hour fitness. I asked to speek to a manager because I was upset at all the calls at horrible hours i've been getting. They said there was no manager on duty. When I asked what do they want me to do, they said give me a credit card number. I was about to but then I'm like...uhh....f-this. I have no idea who this is.
They call multiple times a day and left one weird message for someone else. I have never had a membership with 24hour Fitness and I've had this cell number for years. My plan doesn't have enough minutes for me to answer and tell them off. I would absolutely participate in some kind of a law suit. Harassment is illegal.
I started getting calls on my brand new cell phone a few weeks ago. Everyday I get at least one of these automated phone calls from 24 Hour Fitness, asking for someone named Daren Honda. Each time I tell them they have the wrong number and they hang up.
A few weeks before these calls started I received a few non-automated phone calls asking for someone named "Daren", so I told them they had the wrong number.
These guys have their automated system dial my cell 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks now. If I call that number back, I get a siren. I have never done business with them, and quite frankly, never would. The automated call asks for "Onarize Jones", which is not me of course. The automated message does not give me a method to make this harassment stop. I have filed a complaint (Form 1088) with the FCC. Everyone who gets these harassing calls should file a complaint too. What 24 Hour Fitness is doing is illegal under our law.
Go to this US Government web site to file a complaint online: esupport.fcc.gov
If enough people file enough of these forms, perhaps the FCC can then take action and at least make 24 Hour Fitness shut down their autodialer, if not prosecute them for criminal charges.
Again, please fill out an online FCC complaint, it's easy to do and will help everyone. Thanks, Alex.
Well I had a membership with another club.. 24 hour bought them. my dues are payroll deducted.. I started getting calls from this number over a week ago.. yesterday they called 4 times.. 3 times the previous day.. I talked to my HR on Friday.. seems that 24 hour does not do payroll deductions.. only EFT or CC. The calls won't stop until the fee is paid because it is an autodialer. I did call the # back last week. was put on hold.. for an important phone call... then it rang, and hung up on me. One of my co workers answered it.. was put on hold for an important phone call.... then it came back, and said all operators are busy now.. please call back again... and hung up on her. This is rediculous... I did some research, and apparently there is a national class action lawsuit started in California.. I am planning on calling this attorney on Monday.. based on what I find out from talking to someone today at the club itself.
Who the hell is this person that keeps calling? Someone soliciting a minor?
I get repeated calls from this number which identifies themselves as 24 Hr Fitness, and plays a recording for 'me', by name. I called 24 Fit, and I am current.
These people are NOT 24 Hr Fitness. They are a BILL COLLECTORS, pulling a SCAM.
Whoever 888-900-3194 is.. they need to stop this shit. Is it really 24 hour fitness?
After telling 24hr fitness twice to stop calling, I dont want to renew my membership, I kept receiving calls...usually about 4 a day. I finally got to speak with a rep, the other calls usually just go through the automated voice asking for information then hangs us.
When the live rep came on the phone, I immediately told him to get me his supervisor, which he did. I spoke with a supervisor there name Kishon, and told her that the next time I get a call from her company, I will also name her in the lawsuit for harassment. I told her that I am filing a complaint with the FCC and FTC for harassment. Not letting her speak, I told her not to cop an attitude with me and to remove my name immediately. She said that she would and the system will take about an hour to update. Lets see if this stops the problem.
fu already renewed bastards
This number called me 8 times starting Saturday morning at 9am, and 2:45 monday afternoon. Sometimes a recorded voice would say "hello", other times the call would disconnect as soon as I answered. I finally called the number back and it was 24 hour fitness (I'm a member of the gym) asking me to update my account information. I took care of my account, and let them know about the phone calls. They apologized and said that they were aware of the problem with their system.
This number is an automated voice recording asking for someone that I do not know. They call me about 2-3 times per day and when I do answer I press the appropriate key for saying it is a wrong number, but they continue to call.
These Jerkwads call at all hours of the day. Good thing I can't reach through the phone and throttle them. We need to know how to block these Asswipes.
At the end of the day this can affect you in a lot of ways and you can deal with it in just as many: 1) you can get annoyed; 2) you can try to do something about it, which may or may not stop these folks, and there'll always be someone out there to take their place; or 3) you can ignore them if you know you're in the right and have no business with them realizig they're just haranging you. It's easy to just listen to your phone ring, look at the number, and then delete it. Actually makes me feel pretty good that for as much as they're trying to rip me off or harass me that I'm thrwarting their efforts and wasting their time and/or money (even if it's just a machine that's calling, that's one machine that's not calling someone else at that moment). Let 'em waste their time! Remember, it never hurts to share your experiences with each other on sites like this. At least in that way we are able to share what we know and in some small way organize against these pests.
I get these calls on my mobile about every other day. I've never had a 24 Hour Fitness membership from which to disenroll, but there is a 24 Hour Fitness here in my home town. It's funny to hear the debate between those who think this is a scam versus a legitimate business. Either way it doesn't matter. This could be a legitimate scam or it could be an illegitimate (or at least questionable) business practice that legal or not is still really annoying. My advice: Don't answer there calls. If this were really an legitimate/non-questionable business practice they'd send you some kind of notice in the good old US Mail. At any rate, here's my recommended solution for dealing with them: Ignore them! Just like a kid who's really annoying, if you ignore them long enough they've got to move on to better prospects. I've had these kind of calls on my home phone and I've ignored those. Believe it or not, they actually stopped.
I've had 52 calls from them - all hours of the night. I called and talked to several people today (in Jamaca) and they admitted it was a wrong number in their system, but can't correct the problem. I then called 24 hour fitness (Lakeshore Towers Ultra) and the workers understand but no one if available until tomorrow (Monday). My number is listed on the DO NOT CALL list, so I filed a complaint. I expect financial compensation from 24-Hour when I call them tomorrow. 52 calls in less then a week is crazy. After my call to Jamaca, my options where pay the other persons past due account to stop the calls, or shut off my cell phone. Neither option is valid to me. I've been a 24-hour Fitness member for almost 10 years - I can't believe they would do this to their customers.
I keep getting call from these idiots. I recently cancelled my 24 Hour Fitness account and now that they realized they aren't able to get any more money out of me they have begun bothering my family. I will contact an attorney to sue them.
Same game as last year! 24 Hour Fitness calling for membership renewals. Nevermind that I already paid! They call as late as 10:30pm. After 3 calls, I picked up and the lady hung up on me.
If you're already on the Do Not Call list go to the web site (donotcall.gov) and register a complaint. 24-H Fitness have been calling me multiple times daily. I just called back, after yet another call, and asked why, and they said to give them my number and they'll take me off their call list. We shall see...
The 8889003194 number keeps calling me.. I asked them who they were, and they said its fitness company. I said I am already fit.. and I don't need your services.
They kept calling.. I registered my number to donotcalllist.gov, but they still keep calling.
:(
pre-recorded 24 hour fitness message concerning new promo offers
Joined 24 hour fitness yesterday with a prepaid 3 month plan. Two calls now to "pay for my yearly service". WTF?
If this number does not stop calling me, I will defintely take legal action.
I called back, today is the first time it rang/someone answered. I told them to take my #off the list. She told me they were having "problems with the dialing system". For the record there was NEVER an answer when I picked up. No music, no message, nothing. I told her that I have received 22 phone calls in 1 week and I would cxl my membership if it continues. I KNOW there isn't a problem with my membership because I go there several times a week and they scan me in just fine. Was not asked for credit card info.
Folks, if you're a memebr of 24 hr. Fitness then just call them back. Before I called 888-900-3194 I called their main number and customer svc told me that my membership was still on an annual basis. This was wrong as I had recently renewed via US mail and changed to monthly pmts. Obviously 24 hour Fitness' software is screwed up which is triggering multiple calls by over zealous employees. Talk about corporate waste.
They've called me everyday for about a week now - multiple times a day. Whenever I pick up, no one answers. I'm tired of getting calls from this number!
Repeated call of this nature are a violation of the following : US CODE: Title 47223. Obscene or harassing telephone calls
"...(C) makes a telephone call or utilizes a telecommunications device, whether or not conversation or communication ensues, without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person at the called number or who receives the communications"
The penalty :
"shall be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both."
Please report your calls to the Federal Communications Commission on this website: fjallfoss.fcc.gov
Also, contact your local 24 Hour Fitness and complain. Call the national 24 Hour Fitness at 800-432-6348 and recite the above. Ask for a supervisor.
Stop Them!
Call 24 hour fitness 800-432-6348 and they will remove your number from their calling list, or so they say. We'll see!
I would be interested in a class action suit for this number and for the harrassment!
They wanted creit card info.
I did not give it to them.
They knew my name. It pissed me off right form the get go because I was sleeping. Why can't they start a real biz or get a real job. Im going call the FBI after I go to the gym and make sure it is a bunch of bull shit.
I answered and a recording played obnoxious music and no human ever spoke.
My credit card got stolen so I had to cancel it, then I called 24 Hour to update my info so that I would continue to have automatic withdrawal of monthly dues. They messed it up, my payment wasn't made, and now I get called from this number like 3 times a day. I called 24 Hour on a different number and updated my info with them, but no way am I dealing with these people.
the first time i picked up they asked for me by name. then i ask who was calling they said 24hr. fitness... i was like i wasn't interested...then they asked again if i was who i am... and i was like yea... and they hung up. i think someone is stalking me :( stupid 24hr. fitness
I received 2 calls from this number - The first time nobody answered, and the second I hit then "reject call"... I don't like receiving calls from mysterious sources (and I've never even stepped foot in a 24 Hour fitness)
24 HOUR FITNESS SUCKS
they called me and offered me a pormotion i said call me back on friday they never called i called them and they said promotion never existed i say to all of these comments ask for tamara or the executive of the company and they will stop calling.
No one there when I pick up. only music. weird.
Funny. I had the same problem with them ringing my cell phone 5 + times a day for 4 days in a row. I cancelled my membership as well. Grrr!
Someone obviously has nothing better to do than to call me 10 times a day, every day. When I call this number I get a strange sound, somewhat like an emergency siren.
I got a message from someone named Homoy at ext#207 requesting that I contact him. This is a long distance number from my area code. Called back and talked to Kabeen, ext#188, who demanded that I owed 24Hour Fitness money. She refused to give me her location saying it was not 24Hour's policy. Her tone bordered on extortionistic harrassment.
Got calls from this number many times a day recently, no one on the line when I picked up.
I had to call it back and it was 24 Hour Fitness. I canceled my account with them, and will never do business with them again.
I ignored it for a while. Eventually I answered it and there wasn't anybody on the line! What's weird is that they called my cell.
I have received a call from this number at least once every other day for the past couple of weeks. I finally pick up the phone call & they put me on hold for 2+ minutes saying a rep will be with me shortly. If this shit was so fucken important to be calling me every other day, you would think that they would already have a rep on the phone. What the fuck is all that shit about???
I just got a call from them again today....
No message and they call about 3 times a day.
They call every day claiming to be the 24 hr. fitness financial dept. They asked for my credit card info. I refused. She said,"well sir if you arn't comfortable.." Comfortable?!! I asked who IS comfortable giving that info to a stranger over the phone. Fuck!
Now I know this is 24 hour fitness calling my cell number. I answered one call and was put on hold for a 10 seconds or so. Then the person answered and asked for someone other than me, did not identify herself at all and asked how long I've had this number. I told her she had the wrong number and hung up. I'm reporting this to the company headquarters. They've been calling 3-4 times per day for a few days now, left no messages and is very unprofessional.
They called and said that they needed a new credit card # for fees that were past due, when I asked them what credit card # they had on file they were gave me the last 4 numbers of a credit card that I have never had, the operator then continued to ask for a new credit card # and he kept repeating the last 4 numbers of the non-existent credit card
It is even more irritating when they call you about some other member's account. I'm glad they mistakenly put my phone number on another member's account. Good thing they don't have my credit card number...oh wait... they do.
I have been getting about 6+ calls a day from this number and every time they call they don't leave a message till just recently. irritating as hell!!
15 calls in 3 days. No one on the other end.
They call what seems like every freaking hour on the hour and since i work nights it pisses me off!!! 24hr fitness is about to loose a customer!!
These stupid assholes have been badgering me for up to a month or so now. I thought they had finally given up, but now I've gotten a call for the past two days. I don't pick up, and get an automated voice message saying: "this is kelly from 24 hr-fitness calling for (me), please call back." Before they wouldn't ever leave a message. . . what can be done about these jerks?
I am so sick of all these calls. I keep getting them over and over, and I want to do something about it. What can I do? Can I file harrassment charges or what? I have told them 2 or 3 times DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN and they still do.
at first when 24 hour fitness started the calls i didnt mind, i thought it would stop sooner or later...i was wrong...got 10 calls today from them starting from 9am to 8pm, and they call everyday...its so annoying
Called nearly every other day
but when picked up no one there!
yeah, i called back and got an answer and it's 24-hour fitness. i told them to stop these stupid phone calls!!!!!!
I keep getting these calls on my cell phone from this number and they never say crap... i am sick and tired of it. I wish they would stop. I got about 4 of them today.
I've asked them to stop calling every single time they've called. I've now reported them to the FTC. 3 calls today! I'd love to start a class action suit against these morons. Any suggestions?
Like others have reported, I get about 10 calls a day from these people. At least now I know it's 24 hour fitness. I've asked them to put me on their do not call list (before i knew who it was) but they still call.
24 Hr Fitness keeps calling asking me to renew. I've told them no the last three times they've called. Sometimes when I answer the phone, nobody answers. I'm going over there today to slap somebody.
umm yeah i definitly get a buncha calls like these...they all say "toll free" on our caller id...its insane! they'll call at like 7 in the morning
I called this number back, after my caller ID showed that they had called 10 times without leaving a message.
The person answering stated that they were 24 hour fitness, and they were calling regarding my membership renewal. I told them I had already renewed my membership, and she stated that yes, they saw the payment, but it had not posted to my account, (even though I had made the payment over a month ago). I told them to stop calling me and to fix their stupid system
Calls everyday for the past month, asking for Louis Martin. How do we stop these assholes.
No one there when I pick up.
They call about every day.
Possibly 24 Hour Fitness, because my 3yr contract is expiring.
I answered the call. The female caller asked for my wife by name. When I told her she wasn't home, the caller hung up without identifying herself.
I called the number back, and it was 24 Hr Fitness calling about membership dues. When I told them I already paid, they said their database hasn't been updated, hence the calls. They've been calling me for a week now, but when I pick up, no one answers.
