How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).

Everyone reporting since Regina has described serious FDCPA violations which could get you all handsome damage awards for little or no cost. However, to get a person sued you have to find them within US borders. This all sounds a lot like fake payday loan collection run by criminals from South Asian call centers. If none of you can confirm a valid business name and address, you probably have an Indian faker.

i had the same thing happen to me, some lady called and accused me of fraud and when i hung up she called and left a message saying i was uneducated for hanging up on her and if i didn't call a long distance number within two hours i would have court papers served to me. she didn't tell me what it was for, and some 866 number called my mother in law looking for me because they can't get ahold of me. The number doesn't even exist and is fake.
I got a call from this number say she was needing my address to serve me with court papers. And i asked serve me for what and she said she can't tell me any of that information and tried directing me to call a different number to findout the information i asked and once i told her i called it with my other phone and it was a invalid number she hung up on me.
Woke me up at 4 am, calling over 10 times a day, and today the male voice wanted my name and i told him to stop calling me and I wont give out my name. He then said I sound like a he/she and asked why I only am sleeping 3 hrs a day due to his phone call. He cussed at me using the F$$$ word. I told him I was not giving out my name and said I am contacting the police. I am sick of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get several calls a day from this number directing me to call another number about an afidavit attached to my dl, ssn, and checking account(which I no longer have cause it was closed by the bank). They do not identofy themselves but tell me i must call back in 24 hours or they will be forced to make a decision on my behalf. No company info or anything. Getting very annoying.
I have asked them not to call they will not tell me who they are, and then they just hang up. This is starting to make me mad. and when I call the number back I get a message telling me the number is not valid. it is happening daily now. And I am going to post on this site everytime it happens.
I Got a call from this number @ 1.00 a.m i was @ sleep. So i caouldn't find who called me and where from.

I do not think it is a toll free call. I am in Canada.
a man keeps calling me speaking a language i dont understand. he is asking for someone with a weird name. please stop calling me and wasting my minutes and bugging me when i am at work.
