How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

If you can find out more information on this company, like an address, you can send them a Cease and Desist letter stating that you are making your wishes known that they are to remove your name and phone number from all of their call list. Send the letter certified with signature receipt requested. Companies must take you off their call list and if they do not and call you again you have grounds to stand on for a law suit. This has been done many times and private individuals win the cases. You must keep all documentation including, copies of letters sent, dates and time of calls, who you spoke to etc. . .
Apparently this Share Group telemarketing company is exempt from the Do Not Call list because their clients are nonprofit organizations, political groups, etc. Thus there is no point in reporting them to the FTC. They have been annoying people like us for 14 years and are not likely to stop now. The only thing I can think of to do is pick up the phone and say, "Stop calling this number!" That sometimes works for a while.
Does anyone have any better ideas?
They didn't leave a message so I called from work. A computer answered saying "Share Group Complaint Line". I believe it to be tele-marketing. Other numbers associated with Share Group Complaint Line 888-811-2482, 888-475-3745, 888-475-3736, 888-475-3740
They have other numbers as well as 888-248-2452 - 888-811-2443 and 888-811-1557
