This is collections for BofA/FIA Card Svcs credit card
Static message called back told me office was closed but not what buissness it was???
I have been unemployed for more than 6 months and have fallen behind on my credit card payments to Bank of America. They told me that this number is for the collection agency that they have working on their collections for them -- although I have not received anything in writing thus far to notify me as such.
I had the same experience. A blocked number in which the message from the caller offers no identification and says they must get a return call same day. If you call after hours, the message still doesn't identify who you are calling -- just that the office is closed. And having gone through some debt problems as a result of identity theft, this is the usual manner of one of the last resort collectors who are bottom feeders.
They leave a message that says you must call same day. If you call the number back after hours, it is a recording that simply says their offices are closed and to call during business hours. It offers no identity for the organization. This is usual a methodology used by less scrupulous bill collectors from an earlier unpleasant experience I went through. Usually a bottom feeder who has bought old debts that may or may not be correct.
I did not answer because no id was given or left. A message was left that we must return call today. 2 message per day are being left.
