Do -NOT- do what I did on my previous comment. Do not give them your phone number or leave a message. They are selling phone numbers to survey companies. After requesting they do not call the number and removing me from their lists, I received no less than four solicitations the next evening. If you get a call from Shaw, and are on the do not call list, and have registered with Shaw's system to not be solicited, report it to the CRTC.

These calls are coming from Shaw Communications inside sales team. They will constantly call you every day trying to push cable TV or some other service on you. Calling Shaw does not seem to get you taken off their list. If you call the number back there is an option one to leave them a message and request to be removed. Have now tried that. Will be filing complaint with CRTC if it does not stop. Bell learned their lesson, time Shaw did too!

Have been receiving calls from this number every day between 1400-1900. Already told them to put my name on no call list and obviously they haven't. Very annoying.

Shaw Cable called at 7:45 PM. Last time Shaw called me I told them to never call again. That was a couple of months ago. This time I didn't answer, but called the number back later and verified it is Shaw.

Shaw Cable phoned at 5:30 pm. The agent (I didn't catch her name) was very pleasant. Since I'm a Shaw customer, she described a few promotional deals that I was eligible for. When I said that I wasn't interested, she said "Okay, thanks for your time. Bye-bye."

No hard sell or pressure tactics. A refreshing change of pace from the usual overly-aggressive phone spammers.

fed up with this number calling. no caller id. unknown name on call display. if this is shaw cable then they can identify themseles. If not they need to send a notification with their bills or emails.

keep on receiving phone calls from this number. if this number is shaw again (received other calls fr shaw) then as a paying customer it is unacceptable to be intruded upon in this manner. this company is taking advantage of having our private info and phone number to solicit and harass me and my household. they already advertise through junk mail.

At approximately 16:05 PDST April 16, 2008, our company received a call from another one of life's losers, traced to the above number. Using the alias "Albert", he claimed he had a $300,000.00 pump ready to be shipped to us that had been special ordered. The minute I asked him to fax me a copy of the signed purchase order, he lost his little game and realized he was wasting his time. He said he was just kidding me and promptly hung up the 'phone. Albert from Twin Valley Pumps. Poor Albert doesn't know how life works and has to rob people of their time and energy to keep whatever little mojo he has, intact. Poor little Albert. Mommy still loves ya, big guy.

As Tammie mentioned earlier, this is Shaw or one of their affiliates. I'm a Shaw Cable customer, therefore I'd expect to get calls from them about their other services due to having a prior business relationship. So, this isn't phone spam, in my case.

Still annoying, though.

Shaw called us and offered us digital phone service, though the number has shown up before as a hang-up.

Got a call in the evening, around 7:30 PM. Hanged up immediately when I picked up the phone.

When I called this number a recording tells me it is not available from my calling area.

I got a call this morning from this number. No one said nothing to me when i went to answer it. They just took a little while to hang up. I have it all recorded.
