How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

It's a bill a collector from sprint. They messed up my fiancee's phone bill and now they try to put him on collection agency. We are going to try and sue sprint. This is so wrong!
mine was a bill collector from Sprint. I hung up on him once I figued out that who it was since Sprint messed my bill up every month. I cancelled them. They took 4 months to mail me my final bill. I figured Id take the same amount to pay them back
This is debt collecting agency. I have only my first initial and last name published in the phone book (i.e., A Smith). Apparently these jerks like to troll thru the phone book trying to match up the names they have with anything in the phone book. Due to this, I was contstantly receiving phone calls for "Amanda Smith" (although my name is "Angie Smith"). They think they are being clever because when I called them back, they had my phone number matched up with "Amanda" and addressed me as Amanda. I told them I'm not Amanda and to remove my number. The rep on the other end would not tell me who they were. They removed my number but it's ridiculous that I have to be harassed as well.
I don't answer - they leave a voicemail with a recorded message. It says "To interrupt this message at any time, please press 1. This message is for . Please call us at 1-888-639-1641 regarding account . Again..."
