How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).

I received a call from 888-560-4068 on 10/10/06.
I AM on the Do Not Call List but it seems it doesn't matter. They still get through.
The only good thing is that my phone hangs up a call like this as soon as I answer it.
The bad thing is that I still have to answer it or it rings constantly.
Children's Cancer Fund of America called in tonight at 07:44 pm while I was still at work... wouldn't have answered the number anyhow....
We were warned about this on the news tonight. The American Cancer Society here said that they do not make phone calls.
asked if I was Mr or Mrs **, say no and Ewhen I asked if I could help them, said they call back later
called once today, Sept. 6 '06, 3 rings and phone stopped ringing just before my answering machine was about to kick in. No name identifier was listed above the number.
This call was from Children's Cancer Fund of America which is a registered charity with a website: ccfoa.org but which recieves ONLY 20% of the funds. That's right, 80% goes to fund raising. There are far better places to give your money to help kids with cancer.
They call all the time!
Another fund raising caller utilizing the charity method for circumventing the Do Not Call List I answered but cut her off and hung up.
I did not pick up since there was no name.
I answered, no response at all on the other end.
