How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Complaints should be submitted to complaints.donotcall.gov everytime these criminals call until the government lowers the boom on them.
Still calling and very annoying!!! Twice today.
I called CitiBank at 1.800.950.5114 and asked for WatchGuard. After 18.24 minutes, I was told that I would stop receiving calls from this number.
I've received 7 calls since March in the past 12 days and 3 have come since yesterday. Does anyone have any suggestions? I, too, am on a No Call list.
I severed all ties with Citibank after being rate jacked and levied an annual fee. But I still get several calls a day from 888-465-3152.
Received a call yesterday and another one today. When I answered today there was no response although I could hear background noise much like an office/telemarketing environment. I called the number and received a message that the number is not a working number.
Just call CitiBank and have them transfer you to the Watch-Guard service...1-800-950-5114 ask to be taken off of their call list.
PLease stop calling.

Stop calling. You call 3-10 per day. Guess whate? We are in a recession. No! No! No!
No one on the line - they call and hang up several times every day.
This call keeps comming in as soon as i get home and diverts my attention with response on the phone. Just a nonsense.
Called me three times today, the last time at 10:28 pm. I had requested for my number to be off their list days ago. The new thing is the phone rings only one time and stops.
I received a phone call from the number listed on this website, and was told it was Citibank calling me. The caller, a man, said he was sending something in the mail for me to look at, and he asked me for my home address. I said, "You said you are from Citibank?", and he said, "Yes". I said, "If you are from Citibank, then you already know my address." He was miffed, and said, "All right, goodbye!", and hung up quickly. I dialed *69, and found the number, 888-465-3152. I then called Citibank to find out if they were aware of someone who said he was from Citibank, giving them his number. He said he wasn't aware of that number, and my call was duly noted. I highly suspect that Citibank may have shared my phone number with a marketing firm, although I'm not certain this is the case. I told Citibank that the person had wanted my address and he claimed to be from Citibank. I said if Citibank didn't recognize the number, he ought to check into it, as it was false representation. I then dialed the number myself, and a recorded message said I had reached "Watchguard Services" registration and it was a marketing firm. The recorded voice said someone would call me back. I guess my privacy is not private anymore. Certainly, a marketing agency should not represent itself as a bank, and it should not have rude callers, either. If I get another marketing call from them, I'll make certain that they won't want to call me again. Also, I may cancel my Citibank account if I get another call, and will tell Citibank why I'm doing so.
I just checked my "call block" log and this number called my home number 9 times in 2 1/2 hours from 9:45am to 12:15pm. Each perfectly spaced every 17 minutes. Love that call block feature!
These calls are annoying but you have to register with them directly to be removed from their calling list. If you have an account with Citibank (or any credit card), they can market to you via phone, even if you are on do not call lists. That's the law. I told them to stop calling. We'll see if it works.
I kept getting calls from 1-877-282-9965 asking for my son in law . When I asked if they wantewd to leave a message they said bye and hung up . I finally called back and they said they were watchguard registration services and it was a marketing call.
I have had problems with this phone number previously and the calls stopped when I told them I am not a business. But they have started again. Not sure how affective this is going to be but I have filed a complaint with the FCC using form 1088. Maybe if there are enough of these filings someone will do something.
These people call everyday. I anwser and there is nobody there. After about 20 seconds the call is disconnected. I will never use this wasteful companys services.
I pick up on the second ring and they hang up. This happens frequently. If they were truly CitiBank, wouldn't they want to stay on the line to hear me tell them to pack sand up their nose?
I redialed the number it said it was 'watch guard registration serives'
WHATEVER
Been getting these calls for several weeks now, usually one or twice a day. I let my answer machine answer. They leave no message, just hang up.
HHHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!
I,m a alone disabled person and have difficulty getting around to answer phone calls. These "whores" just won't let up. I would like to get off their list, but they want your name and address, which I am hessitant to give them as my mailbox would then be filled with their marketing "junk"
Okay its me again. number one, we cannot leave a message on the machine. We can barely leave them with your answer people, and as far as the answer people go, they can tell us to "Don not call", but if they say that the primary cardholder, the person we are calling for, is "not interested," that is grounds for a call back, because that is a "gatekeeper refusal", and it's not their place to say. As far as going on the DNC list, it takes at least 30 days to register so other soliciters may call you between the time that you tell us to put you on the list, til the day that you're actually on the list. If you're on the National Registry, if you have made any kind of purchase or maybe transaction within the last 18mos that says to us that you still have an established business with your bank and their telemarketing partners and the NR regulations permit us to call about NEW offers availablt to you. Just some more friendly insight from the other side. :D
Telemarketers have to make a living too. If a call center is hiring and you're on your last penny, rent is due, and gas is high, again, feeding and sheltering yourself is worth the obsenities yelled at you over the phone and getting hanged up on, as well. Just listen to us, say you're "not interested" and we shouldn't call again. Or at least I haven't double.. unless you were rude, then I'm pretty sure they schedule to call you back on purpose. mind your manners and we'll mind ours. Plus, the curteousy close is something that we HAVE to read. JUst a little insight from the other side! :D
I RECEIVE A CALL FROM THIS 888 NUMBER EVERY MORNING, NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE, NO CALLER ID, NO NAME. NO HITS ON THE REVERSE SEARCH TO IDENTIFY.
have reported before
Sure hate them calling me! Several times a day!
have been calling many days
hung up after asking for me o_0 i *69ed em automated message said Watch Guard Registration
Toll free number was displayed, just let it ring....
theres no quit in these sobs we keep getting calls from them...our main phone won't ring though because we got it blocked...just wished we could bloock the calls on the phone company's end.
They have called every morning, except sunday, at about 0830-0900. We don't answer calls that do not display an apparent legit caller ID
I am on the DNC list. Please find a way to remove this irration THANKS
asked for a name and just hung up
put is on the list of all the people these feckless bastards have called with their line of BS....don't matter if we're on the do not call list, hell, this is America where some laws are enforeceable, some are not
They call every friking day. I have to call them back just to let them know how mad I am.
THIS PEOPLE NEED TO GIVE IT UP. I'M NOT GOING TO ANSWER
If you have business with me identify yourself or leave a message, otherwise, leave me alone.
peddle your wares elsewhere. I don't have enough time in my day to listen to sales pitches. there is a do not call registry, please respect it or we will have to make unsolicited phone calls illegal.
always calling
I'm not the same Kim who posted before, but I have been getting calls from these people. I think the next time I'll answer by saying 'Thank you for calling Citibank, how may I help you?'. I've done that before with different telemarketing firms that call me. It confuses them and it amuses me. :-)
Call everyday. Different times. Unknown name
The number is for Citibank!
I am on the do not call list!
If they have business with me they need to identify themselves!!
As I recall, there's an exception to the "do not call registry" which allows companies with "existing business relationships" to market their services by phone. I just checked with citibank.com re this number and they give you an option to send an email to customer service to be removed from their internal telemarketing. Don't know if it will work, but I just signed up. You can find the link after logging into your account, then choosing HELP/CONTACT US, then selecting online answers, then doing a search for "telemarketing". Not exactly easy to find, but it's there.
Stop CALLING Me!!
They call multiple times a day and even after 9 PM. I am so sick of this. We need some sort of recourse for these harrassing phone calls. I am on the no call list and yet I still receive these calls! Please help make the madness stop!!!!!
They call 5to6 times a day as late as 8:45 pm. They are stupid to think i will answer.
Hang up call once again. 2nd time today. Called number back and all I got was a recording. There wasn't even an option to talk to an actual person. Was giving the option to be put on their do not call list. That could take up to 30 days to take affect. Surprise!
everyday same hour, I am on the doNOTcall registry! I just let it ring and never answer it... I have however, told the person that I wasn't interested AND I suspected that alot of people are rude to them, BUT.. my advise was to look for a better job! ... and then I told them I was going to hang up, which I did.
I never answer these calls but it's so frustrating. I have blocking service, so yet another number blocked.
They didnt give me time to tell them to take them off the list. I called the number and followed the instructions - there is an option to remove you from Citi Bank call list. I'd try late at night so you wont get a busy signal.
I use a device called "Intelescreener" to block these annoying calls.
They called my home twice. First time was around 7pm and the 2nd time was after 8:30pm. The woman accidentally left a voice mail message the 2nd time. I could hear her asking someone if she should leave a message and being told "No, just hang up". The woman didn't hang up properly and the phone message was a lot of woman in the background talking.
yup, this worked for me...
Caller ID says 800 SERVICE. . . of course they hang up on my answering machine
I'm not a Citi customer but I got a call today. I'm only a Capital One customer. No message left (less than 4 seconds call). Voicemail Message at 2006-12-27 20:56:47 GMT, Caller-ID: 888-465-3152
Called 6:22pm Dec 22nd
Toll Free Call was on my caller ID.

If you call the number and listen to the message it will ask you if you want to continue with the message push 1, then it will ask you what number you received the message at, if you enter your number it will allow you to put yourself on the do not call list for whichever bank card it is that has called. It may take 30 days to put the request through, but at least you can try.
Called it back just enough to know they said they were Watch Guard Services from Citi. DNC list has nothing if you own this card they will call. I think Sears, Dell, Shell are a few from this company.
no message left, they call all the time
The recorded message when I called back said that it is Watchguard Services and a marketing call. If I am on the Do NOT Call Registry I should not be receiving these calls. I don't have a credit card with them and don't plan on getting one any time soon.
Have called several times. I am on the Do Not Call Registry.
I get this call but since I don't know who it is I don't answer, if they want that bad they call leave a message.. mean time I'll record the number of times they call me
Out of Area 888-465-3152 - They do not leave a message
Don't have caller ID but *69 indicated this #. They hung up when they got our answering maching.
I have been getting calls from this number for the past month a couple times a day except this time they said they were from Bank of America Credit Card and then hung up
Who is this person/people who has been calling me? Please help...
four times in one day twice an hour apart and twice two minutes apart
Has called everyday this week about the same time. Twice on Monday.
They just keep calling almost every day.
I have gotten a call from these people at least once a week for months now. The only problem is that they are calling for someone else. I keep telling them he no longer has this number, and they continue to call and ask for him.
I have been getting calls every day for weeks from 888-465-3152. It comes up as Unknown Name. Here is a partial list just from the last few days. That's all my phone stores. 9/28/06 12:39 pm & 7:04 pm, 9/29/06 12:46 pm & 7:43 pm, 9/30/06 10:45 am.
I wish they'd find something better to do. Leave me alone! ...not interested!
we do not want to be called from citi bank, we are on the no call list
This phone number is from Watch Guard Registration Services. It is part of Citigroup. They are likely calling to sell you credit protection for your Citi credit card. They are calling me everyday so I'm canceling my card!
THIS WEBSITE WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO ENTER A CALL EVERY TIME I AM CALLED. I WOULD LIKE TO REPORT IT EVERY TIME SO NATIONAL REGISTRY WILL KNOW EXACTLY HOW MANY TIMES THESE LOW LIFE ANONYMOUS COWARDS ARE DIALING OUR NUMBERS THAT ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I GOT ANYWHERE FROM 5-10 CALLS DAILY FROM THIS NUMBER AND ONE REGISTERED TO THE DOVE FOUNDATION. IT IS VERY DISTRESSING TO BE SO HELPLESS TO KEEP THESE VULTURES OFF OUR PHONE LINES.
Unknown Name
Calling multiple days in a row, one hour earlier each day.
They are selling credit card services - for Citibank and maybe others.
