How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

These Idiots keep calling me sating I owe some credit inst $16k that ive never heard of!! When I call them to try to work out the issues they hang up on me!! Did it ever occur to you there might be more than 1 person in the nation with my name??? Just for the record I pay my bills so quit calling me!!!!!!!!!!
Me again, Wyse keeps calling after business hours here - I guess they don't have the balls to call when someone is ACTUALLY in the shop! Going on somewhere around th 30th call about now. Whatever, DONOTCALL registry is a worthless cause. I delete it all in the morning...such is ife in the modern age!
Pre-recorded message asking for various last names. They ask that you call 888-409-4415, but the caller ID shows the call originating from 303-813-1601. This message is being left on the answering machine at a business...at 9 PM at night, long after we close at 5 PM. After the second time they called, I returned the call, explaining that it was a business and there were no employees by that name who worked here. Got the 5th call tonight. Idiots!
Many calls received from this organization. They have the last name they are looking for correct but the first name is totally wrong. They must be calling to try and collect a debt and this is at least the 2nd, if not the 3rd, collection agency which has attempted to locate the person who owes the money. This I know because some law firm in New Hampshire, which collects debts, used to call using the same first name and now this WYSE place is calling using the same first name again. That tells me the other place gave up and sold uncollected accounts to another collection agency who is now hoping to successfully locate the person who owes the money.
Debt collection company who likes to try and go after zombie debts that are far beyond their SOL.
