They have called my cell phone everyday for 2 weeks. Since I am in the real estate business, I have my office phone in my message. They even had the nerve to call my office. They are asking for a person I've never heard of and even after nicely telling them I do not know this person, they continue the calls. I can't tell when it is a recorder message or an actual person because they talk so fast and even if you do write the info down you have to listen to the message 3 times to get it all. They are "YES" bottom feeders!!!!!
You can make the calls stop by either sending them a certified letter, return receipt requested, or faxing the same to them. If they are calling for another person, also report them each and every time after the first time you have told them that they have the wrong number. If they are calling you, you can still enforce your right not to receive their calls with the letter. All you need is proof of delivery to charge them with a violation.
Have gotten a couple of calls from this number. They leave a message that they are so-and-so with Nelson, Watson, and need to discuss some information with me that has been given to their office. Today they wanted to discuss this information with either me or my ex-husband. We have no outstanding joint debts, so I will continue to ignore their calls. I seldom answer calls from unknown area codes, toll free numbers, or blocked/private numbers. If I get more than 1 call from a number, I simply set it to silent so they don't even disturb me.
They called trying to contact a 'former' sister-in-law...obviously a collection agency...
how do I make it stop?
They call my home several times a week looking for someone named Diane. I keep telling them that nobody with that name has EVER lived here, but they keep calling!
