How do I stop them from calling?

Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I've received 2 calls from 888-339-9270 on 6/9/2008 & 6/10/2008 at 11:40AM on the button. The first call asked for "Pete", the caller had a south western accent with a deeper gravelly voice, the second call was a hangup. I haven't placed a call-back on the number, but this guy could be a creepy crawler who has a basement full of bones (and they're not chicken bones). What do you say slick, or are your nads caught in your throat........Take your meds slick.
Hung up after I answered...I get a call from this number once or twice a year.
I continue getting calls from John Davis at the Public Safety Services of South Dakota. They just won't stop.
Man called for my husband; ?'d who's calling; wouldn't id himself; ?'d where he's calling from; man said was calling about a community safety concern; ?'d his name again; wouldn't id; He ?'d me my name; refused to give unless he id himself; advise man to put our # on his do not call list; he claimed he couldn't unless I gave him my name; Advised him he most certainly can put # on DNC list without my name; went a couple rounds like this with him till he finally screamed "Fine, I'll put you on the DNC list lady and you buckle up for safety!" and then he hung up on me. I too did *69 to get #; called it back; just kept ringing & never answered.
Called from the same chickenshit prick and got a laugh in the background and then he hung up. I'll post all his info once I get it.
Receiving calls at least 4-5 times a week from this number and they never leave a message. It needs to stop.

These guys are using a VoIP account and are spoofing the caller ID. Can't find them. I guess you could, but the FBI wouldn't waste their time. Haha.

When I answered they said "Biotch!" and hung up. When I try to call back it says I cannot call from my area.

Called around 12:30 PM. Phony police charity.

Said they were raising money for the police department. They have called several times in the past month. I did not keep track of other dates. Told them to mail the info to me and hung up.
Called at 6:19pm 9/14/06 - says "toll free". Hung up when we answered. I hate these phony asses and they let the phone ring when I called them back. I've tried a dozen times but no answer or its busy. Can something be done to silence this company??? I'm game for anything hehehe.
We have been getting calls from this number for a while. They called at 8:57 pm, I finally answered to tell them to stop calling and and they hung up right away.
Got call at 6:50PM. I did not answer but googled the #. My husband did get a call 2 wks ago from some "police charity". I don't know whether it's the same phone #.
Checked out the Better Business Bureau website out of Montana. This number is clearly listed as a Fraudulant Fundraising organization. They did ask us for cash to raise money for the local Police Department.
It sounded like an automated message that said "I dialed the wrong number."
I added the number to my "blocked" list.
Caller hangs up as soon as he is told the person he wants isn't in. No ID & very RUDE!

When i answered to phone there was a very faint response. I could barely hear the guy for about 15 seconds then the sound came back. He asked for my dad and I said, "this is Matt." He then hung up.

This number 888-339-9270 has called our home a dozen times, and never answer, then hang up. This is ridiculos.
Complaint filed with donotcall.gov bastards hung up with they heard the number answered as a company.
After several calls, I told them to remove number and they yelled at me!WTF??I filed a complaint on National Do Not Call Registry. The calls stopped for awhile but have continued.If enough people complain maybe something can be done.

Received Harrasing Phone Calls from this number. Caller called on August 10, 2006 at 2:16 PM laughs (Hee Hee Hee Hee Hee Hee) and hangs up. Not the first call received. Would Like to know who is calling me because I am being harrased by an individual in town and if this is the same family it would greatly help to resolve this matter.
