These idiots are also calling me they don't speak english and I cannot understand their terrible spanish. Never ever ever buy anything from these tyrants. They deserve to receive a call and a fax for every call that they make innocent people who are just trying have a simple peaceful lunch.
Here is their information feel free to give them a call. Or fax a copy of a special body part. Sorry if I seem a bit angry but....*&^%??

they are a company that sells different stuff like the english learning tapes and also some cookware they called but because I called to find out how much the cookware was and I told the sales lady I would consider it but had to talk to my husband she only has called me back once and I didn't answer but she was a very nice lady not pushy to sell me the product and she said sh was in Hollywood California I have her extension number. Nut only called onces.
I'm filing a complaint with the do not call list as my number was registered over a year ago. everyone should do the same.
The intrusive jackasses called my cell phone, they left no messaqe.
Well, how about that? The FCC sent a thick letter to me today telling me that my complaint contained all necessary information and that the matter is now under review. In my report, I included the URL for this particular website, so maybe the investigator, Jeffrey H. Tignor (Acting Chief), will come over here, see all of the posts, and offer some relief to all of us.
They called asking if I spoke spanish. I said no even though I do. Either way its none of their business if I do or I dont
I have received multiple calls from this number for the last 2 months or so. They called me on Thanksgiving 3 times within 2 minutes. I kept telling them I don't speak Spanish, and to please stop calling me. They either laugh in the phone, or they hang up and call right back. I have called the 888-231-7557 number and put my name on their list to stop calling me, and they haven't stopped. When the lady called again today, I told her she is harassing me and that I am filing a complaint and suing them for harassment. She hung up on me, and has not called back, "YET". Obviously they understand English, or she wouldn't have hung up, and she would have called back. I filed a complaint with the "do not call registry" and now the FCC. I hope this works. I will keep you posted if it does actually work.
Too good to miss (the Mexicans are calling the Lexicon people "criminals"):

Did I mention that Lexicon/Su Hogar Sin Barreras also makes payday loans? (This is a cached page. Their name is removed from the refreshed page.) http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:A4LQECQCOt8J:dexony.com
And that they are terrorizing innocent people in Mexico? From this very same phone number? (the following is a translated page.)

THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT
As amended by Public Law 104-208, 110 Stat. 3009 (Sept. 30, 1996)
§ 806. Harassment or abuse [15 USC 1692d]
A debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person in connection with the collection of a debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:
(1) The use or threat of use of violence or other criminal means to harm the physical person, reputation, or property of any person.
(2) The use of obscene or profane language or language the natural consequence of which is to abuse the hearer or reader.
(3) The publication of a list of consumers who allegedly refuse to pay debts, except to a consumer reporting agency or to persons meeting the requirements of section 603(f) or 604(3)1 of this Act.
(4) The advertisement for sale of any debt to coerce payment of the debt.
(5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.
(6) Except as provided in section 804, the placement of telephone calls without meaningful disclosure of the caller's identity.
Maybe I misquoted the Fair Trade Act, but here, verbatim, (go to the next message) is something that can be used. The "remedy" is $1000 for each violation. Even though these laws are intended to protect consumers against debt collectors, I still do not know who these people are that are calling me - maybe "Mingo" owes a debt. There is at least one comment that indicates the 888-231-7557 people are looking to collect for a balance due. In that case, the complaints in my suit will apply. (btw, I went straight to the do not call site and registered a complaint.)
I usually do not answer "unknown" calls from "888" area codes - it is illegal under the Federal Fair Trade Act to make business phone calls with "Unknown" as the caller. After 15 rings, though, and at 8:05 p.m., I was angry. I picked up the phone and said simply "You rang my phone 15 times, which is against the law. Do not call here anymore". I hung up, but I heard a Spanish-speaking lady hollering some gibberish in the background. If you can believe it - the caller phoned AGAIN. I picked it up immediately and asked, "Okay. Who are you with?" I can SUE this caller for $1000 and I definitely will do it! Well, the lady switched to English and asked for "Mingo". She said, "This is probably a wrong number." I hit the ceiling. I told her, "All of that mess with ringing my telephone, and for someone that does not even live here?!!!" This happened just minutes ago, so the details are fresh in my mind and I am stating them truthfully. I don't need a lawyer. I am going to find these people and file my complaint with the Federal court on Monday.
I received 4 calls today. from 888-231-7557. The caller is Spanish speaking lady. I told her I do not speak Spanish and you have dialed a wrong number. Still wouldn't stop calling. It is very annoying.

XD Some Dumbass is right.. Mine Rang During History Class...
One call so far, they wanted the address of my business (I'm a photographer) and didn't feel at all like a real client. They ended up hanging up when I pursued a normal line of inquiry.
Silence then hangup. I called number and got a message, in Spanish and English. I could leave a message with name and number and be put on an internal do-not-call list. No way am I doing that. I went to donotcall.gov and filed a complaint.

I am getting up to 10 calls a day from this number. When answered nothing
I've filed complaints w/the FCC and the California Attorney General. If it does not stop, I'll have my wireless change my number. I give my number to only family, and I have none in California.... how the heck they got my number ...
sign up your phone number at donotcall.gov. if you do it, it will be illegal for any telemarketer to call your number. if they do, then you can report them to the government, and they'll get in trouble.
They been calling me for the last 3 days. They never say anything and if I call back I get a recording. I got a total of 17 calls. They are starting to annoy me :(
I believe it's from Ingles Sin Barreras.
I received this call around 10.30 PM
Spanish speaker, hung up when I spoke English !
Received 2 calls from this number and a Spanish speaking woman spoke. I told her I didn't speak spanish but she kept talking and I hung up.

got this # from "EDDY" on the comments list below, it actually does work, it's the no call list, and all the ask for is your ph# and name..they start off in Spanish but answer them in English and they'll respond
I called them back, message said to leave # and they would see that I would get on the no call list, but if there was a problem they would contact me! F@%$#!!
Called 4 times within five minutes. Answered the fourth time and it was some Spanish speaking woman (did not speak english). Asked her to take us off her call list...we'll see if she understood that and takes us off.
They called again on 6/23/07 at 1319 PST. Didn't answer. They just don't give up, do they?
I get the same 3-10 times per day. I went to the site listed below and found some really good info on how to combat this. Basically the squeaky wheel wins. California states they take this CRIME seriously. I spoke with LAPD and they said I should file a report for all of us with Las Vegas PD and I will do this. My feeling as a retired Law Enforcement Officer is that more local police departments forwarding complaints to LAPD the better. The name of the Company is "Lexicon aka: Ingles Sin Barreras" and “State of the Art Hispanic Call Center” Located at 640 S San Vicente BLVD Los Angeles CA 90048. There are other agencies that could and should be contacted. If we all just take a little time, we can Slam Dunk these A-holes.
I am preparing a report that includes all your comments and any other complaints I find on the internet. If you would like a copy e-mail me at www.havasuroger@yahoo.com this is something you can just take to your local PD and submit or you can add your own touches

I just got a new Sprint phone number, and I get calls from these people EVERY day. Same thing every time: either silence or Spanish.

Receive over 5+ calls from this number. I answer and it automatically hangs up. I believe its a machine that is doing this. I have also called and left my first name and number to put it on the "do not call list" yet that doesn't help.
I GOT WRITTEN UP AT WORK FOR EXCESSIVE CALLS TO MY CELL. I HAVE A DISABLED DAUGHTER AND I NEED MY PHONE ON AND NOW I CAN'T HAVE IT ON AT WORK. THEY ARE GOING TO GET ME FIRED.
I have called Nat'l do not call center, I have called the number and left a messege. They called me 4 times yesterday and my work made me shut my phone off for escessive use!!!!
I am getting into trouble because of these SOB's.
2 weeks of phone calls. I really am tired of it. I give my phone number out to no-one (just 5 people). They call when I am at work, they call early in the morning (I work late). My cell carrier can't block the phone number. I am not a happy camper.
These dumb fucks keep calling me. I wish they would at least speak.
I have received repeated calls from them. They ask for "Miguel"-none here. I ask for a manager or yell at them to put me on their do not call list and they keep calling. Really getting annoying. Any answers?
they asked for "laura" - also said "good afternoon" - it's late evening in CA - this isn't the first time they've called; very odd

Same thing as everyone else. Several calls back to back, some really late at night.
They are constantly calling. It's annoying and my husband has called the numbers on the lexicon website someone else had mentioned. They still call. I'm making a complaint on the do not call list for each one. We finally got an address: 640 S. San Vicente, Los Angeles CA 90048
I cut & pasted TonySopranos response because he is absolutely right. I am also pasting the website of the company who is making the calls. Their tel# is: 800-650-4444
Call the reps and complain and tell them to stop calling. I did that but the calls still haven't stopped.

HERE'S THE SCOOP: They called tonight for the 400th time. Caller ID showed "800 Service" and "888-231-7557." I was pissed; found this forum. Read comment by Eddy below, dated 2007-03-09, who left a link:
lexiconmarketing.com. Wasn't sure it was them (none of the listed numbers are the one), but went to ferret out the president/CEO's information and pee all over her tomorrow when I noted her name-- "Valeria Rico"-- and recalled I'd seen a letter by HER in the front of a catalog mailing for "Sin Barreras" company that I tossed tonight, "Viva sin Barreras" (whatever that means). Their smarmy ads appear all over tv for English lessons on tape, for Disney trips, and for overpriced Olympia pots and pans. Here's the connection: My wife made the mistake once of talking with their high-pressure salesgirls over a year ago. Their address (one that does NOT appear on the website) is 1140 North 1430 West, Orem, Utah 84057-9923. Badda boom. Send them a bag of sh--ugar beets, won't you? Unfortunately only toll free numbers 1-800-287-7110 and 1-800-543-4466 appear in the catalog (I have it right here), but I'm close enough to go visit them rap rap rapping on their pesky little door. Should be fun.
Received calls from this number two times in 12 minutes. Second call resulted in a message that sounded like the background chatter from a call center, but nobody left an actual message, just the background sounds. Message was about 30 seconds long.
Some guy was on the line, speaking Spanish and asking for some lady named Adelina something. I told him in Spanish that it was the wrong number and hung up since it is an 888 # I assumed it's a telemarketer. He then called again five minutes later. I told him in Spanish to stop calling or I was going to report him, I have his number and can have the phone company track him down.
i have stopped receiving phone calls after i spoke with the rep. i let him know i didnt know the person that used me as a reference. when they call you and you get that no answer just stay on the line a bit they will answer. just hope you get a english speaker. but speak to a rep. i have yet to receive a call from then since 3-10 good luck. look at my post from 3-10-07 for a list of numbers

Calls for a week now and I'm sure it isn't gonna stop. Nobody says anything--just silent but on the line. I just ignore the calls but its extremely annoying because I get at least 10 calls per day. What can be done about this? I don't answer but why do we get these calls from this number???
They keep calling my number, apparently telemarketing, but looking for references for a relative (???) It is important to know that no matter what you tell them, they will keep insisting and calling back. Many times hanging up after two rings. Maddening!!!
got a another call and spoke with a rep in spanish. the reason they are calling is because someone has used your name and number as a reference to purchase or to apply for credit. the person that used me as a reference was named claudio perez from methuen mass. a person that i do not know.

try this a list of other numbers to get in contact with them.
Ive received over 30 calls within 2 days from this num. but i did manage to get through with security on ext 7777. security then transferred me to receptionist who then gave me a # to call where you can have your num removed from their call list the # is 323 782 7400 call mon- fri 8am to 5pm. they do speak english. some marketing company called lexicon.
they have been calling me about every 15 minutes today on my cell phone
Just saw that I missed a call on my cell from this number today so I googled the number. If they call again I am NOT answering. I have been on the Do Not Call list for years BTW.
I keep getting a phone call from them at the same time every day for the past month. I've answered a few times and they stay quiet. I call back and it sounds like a Mexican girl on the voicemail and she doesn't give the name of the company. They're up to something.
OMFG they keep calling me!!!! how do i get them to stop? I even answered it and it was just quiet!!!
Calls and then hangs up. Really quite weird.
It is Mexico Marketing USA open from 0800 to 2030 pacific standard time
EVERYONE CALL
888-231-7557 EXT 7777
you will get the FRONT DESK and give him your complaint, you should have no problems reaching him. He seems to think this is a joke and said if I kept calling him he was going to have the call traced and call the police on me, he refused to give me his address so I could send a letter. He says they have a collections dept but he refused to tell me what the company name was, I yelled and asked him if he was on crack. He says he is not in Mexico but its hard to beleive that. EVERYONE CALL HIM I told him if he did not give me the address I was going to post this message! Good luck!
Called my kids cell 6 times today I called like 5 times and left loud rude messages to stop calling they scare my kids they are only 6 and 8! But now their machine is full and you can't leave anymore messages!
this number call me many time. most of the time I ignore, but couple time I answe and they speak spanish only. I dont understand so I hangup. and they call again. today is thu 02/22/07
I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize. I have got several calls from this number to the point that I can recognize it. Judging from what I read here, I am still not going to pick it up.
Spanish speaking caller asking for Luis Uribe advised multiple times they have the wrong number. Keep calling back.
IGNORE IT NO ONE SAID ANYTHING.
There has to be something that we can do. I get no less than 10 calls a day from them and have answered, called, left voice mails...nothing. They keep calling. I registered on Do Not Call and am told that they could get a $15,000 fine if they do not obey. How many other people have done the same? How can we nail them?
Someone from this number tried to call me on my cell phone twice today. I have never before received a call from them, and like others I called back only to receive a bi-lingual voicemail.
Just curious, has anyone else here applied for jobs with Careerbuilder? These calls came in today shortly after I applied for several jobs so I thought it was an employer calling me back. Hope careerbuilder isn't scamming or selling people's phone numbers...
The last call was 2/10/07 at 4:15. And every day before that.
I have PhoneZap and somehow they get around it.
They call every 5 minutes and never say anything
Have told this person I don't understand spanish and to stop calling. So now they just hang up when I answer. They've called for the last 3 days and it's annoying as hell. I hang up fast just in case they are some kind of operation that can hook onto your number and make outrageous long distance calls.
ugh! Annoying! they need to stop calling, what's wrong with them!
When you call the number back, voicemail immediately picks up. It's a woman's voice who leaves an outgoing message in both english and Spanish. She has the NERVE to say "please state the reason for your call." I HATE them because the calls start as early as 8:00 am and are on my cell phone.
I just left them a 12-minute message ordering, and then reording a huge pizza delivery; then I read them every phrase from my German-phrase calendar (Christmas gift), January 1-31, including a recipe for marble cake. Yes, I have better things to do, but after 10 calls from them today, the least I could do is clog up their voicemail system. It's actually a lot of fun. Tomorrow I'm going to read them German phrases from February and then the front-page stories of the New York Times. I'll go for 15-20 minutes this time.
The calls are several times a day since last Thursday.
I believe this is a way the government is tracking us. They are putting up concentration camps all over the counrty. I've been getting calls from this number every day. Nazi's run this country. Did you know the government can listen to your conversations even when your cell phone is off? The cell phone is a tracker, it listens and records everything you say. infowars.com
Same thing, they have been calling me 4 to 5 times a day no vm. Answered on just dead air
I didnt answer and they left no message, but i called back and it was a machine with a spanish sounding recording.
I have decided since there is nothing to be done legally about this I will call them every hour, and using my vast repetoire of expletives, harrass them. Please join the fun!!!
The number 888-231-7557 comes up on my phone the caller is usually spanish speaking and asking for a person named Aaron Hill. The caller will not say who they are and will not give there company name. They call ten times a week and there seems to be noway to file charges of any sort because they are unknown.
They spoke spanish...what is this about? they called 5 times tonight??
Been calling for 2 days now. Won't say who it is or what regarding. I have at least 10 calls from them. I've called left message for them to stop calling and still they call. Trying to find a way to report them.
This person has called me since Thursday,so the last three days. They call about six times a day. i left two messages on their recording asking them what they want and to leave a voicemail if it's something important. So, now they just jeep calling and letting it ring once so I can't answer it. They are FREAKINFG ANNOYING.... How do you get them to stop.....
This spanish-speaking pain in the ass has called me at least 10 times every day for a week at all hours of the day and night. I took 4 years of spanish in high school, so I know she understands what I am saying. I have now reduced myself to cursing at her in spanish.
Some guy asked if I was Bryant in Spanish and I said "Yes?" and he hung up... Weird
This company or familia de cabrones keeps calling me as well. I receive 20 calls a day and they just hang up after two rings.
called no message
They keep calling, I never answer.
i didn't answer...no message left. called on my new cell phone number which no one knows yet except for verizon, my provider

I`m register in the Do Not Call Registry, and the call me I`m filing a complaint
Spanish woman, I've yelled at her 2 times tonight that if she can't speak english then quit calling me. I get them as late as 9 pm and as early as 8 am!! Yesterday they called 8 times before 3!!! They are driving me crazy!!
It's a luggage delivery company. At least for me in Seattle it is.
Got a call from a spanish speaking lady asking for a certain person. I told her she had the wrong number and she asked if she had dialed my number. I said yes but that it was a wrong number and hung up. She calls about once a week, today she called twice.
Been called about 6 times by them today, haven't answered and they haven't left voicemail.
It was a spanish speaking lady asking for someone named Jose. When I told her who I was she said thanks and hung up.
Dead silence
don't answer 888 calls, but I've had 4 calls in three days.
Called, didn't get to the phone on time, didn't leave a message.
I got 5 missed calls from this Number on Thanksgiving, 3 missed Calls on Friday and 7 missed calls on Saturday." no voice Mails"
They called on Thanksgiving Day! What a bunch of a-holes. I am going to do something to stop them. Hello, Mr. President.
They called and hung up on me. I called them back and got some lady in broken english telling me to leave a message. I left the phone next to the tv and walked away for a minute, then hung up.
they keep calling me! who the hell are they?
If you're listed on the Do Not Call Registry, you can file a complaint on their website at donotcall.gov
You only need the number, which we all have, and listing your own info is optional.
They called for a week...I put my number on the Do Not Call list...On Monday, they called me nine times...I answered it 6 times...I told them to stop calling me in English...Them I told them a couple of times to stop calling me in Spanish...I finally told them that I was on the "No Call List," in english, and I haven't heard from them since...
The person called and they started to speak spanish to me. It sounded like a recording... because in the background I heard other people talking.. I heard a click and then talking started. And I asked who are they looking for and then they hung up
No person on the line. Calls & hangs up constantly. tired of it
These people have been calling me for 3 days, 2 or 3 times a day. I answered one of them, but no one said anything. They've been calling, letting it ring like 2 times, and then hanging up. A$$holes!
I have many missed calls from them. Once they let it go to vm & some spanish speaking guy was talking.
I called them & I get a machine recording with a lady speaking spanish.
I am tired of them.
they keep calling!!! i have over 10 missed calls from this number!!!
Tuesday, October 24 at 6:15 got a call from a spanish speaker claiming to be calling from California with a company called "Ingles Sin Barrera". Someone apparently purchased their product and did not pay for it, he called me because the buyer of their product put me down as a reference. Caller claimed that I am responsible for the unpaid product. I know knothing about this company.
Spanish speaker - sounded like a telemarketing pitch, but difficult to tell. Hung up after I said I think they have the wrong number.
Left no message
Got 3 calls from them too.
silence and hang up.
Dead silence for at least ~15 seconds. Didn't listen to rest.
Same thing, they left me about 2 minutes of dead air
They NEVER say anything! It's always silence then click.
Some dumbass.
