I have received calls from this number off and on for a while. No one responds when you answer and the voice mails are just dead air. I just files a complaint with the FTC on the DO NOT CALL website since my number(s) have been listed on there for a long time. I will file another complaint with the FTC each time they call. The FTC has to respond to each complaint so sooner or later they will get tired of having to respond and pay postage so maybe they will do something about them.

Apparently a collections company. Call but never has anything to say, just hangs up.

I answered these people once, they were looking for someone else. I told them there was not a person by that name at my number. They said they would not call again. They lied.

keep calling and claiming i owe them money. they refuse to give me any proof i owe the money. scam i think.

This caller persists forever, even if call is not answered.

I called the number (888-210-7243) and it has to do with EDUCATION/schooling. I requested they remove my number from their calling list. The person I spoke to says it will be removed within 24 hours.
Have no idea how they got my number, but glad they won't be calling anymore...

If the comapny is First Revenue Assurance, this is a collections company. If you are getting repeated calls from them, it might be because someone has sent you to collections with them and you are in their automate dialing system. The "do not call list" does not apply since they would have a legitimate reason for calling you, even several times a day if you don't answer.

I keep getting calls from this number!!! Who is it?!!?

When I call the number back, it ends up being Verizon. It is Zeke and his voice mail is full, then when you push 0 to get out of the voice mail, it gives you the option of getting an operator. That is when the person says Verizon and then denies that they are calling me and tells me I have dialed the wrong number. Yeah, funny that I'm not even dialing but hitting the redial button!

You are correct, he FBI agent stuff works, (see below). "Carol" said its illegal but, if someone is harassing you by calling, you can claim to be anyone you want. What is illegal is "MAKING" the calls and claiming to be an FBI agent. Wise up Carol.

They call daily...sometimes 6 times within n hour...if I answer...there is no one on the other side,,if I return the phone call, it rings once, then nothing....silence....very strange. What I hate is that I am paying for this via my minutes!! I am on the "do not call list" appa\rently, it doesn't work!!

They have been harassing me for the last 6 months with 2-5 calls on my pre-pay cell phone daily. Then, they will stop for a few days and start again. I only answered one call in January ’09. Spoke to a supervisor, Shawn. Was told they were calling for "Education Managers" in Chicago IL, with their main office in the UK. I asked them to remove my name from calling list after I informed them of my National Do Not Call enrollment. I was promised that they’d not call again. The calls still persist. What good is Do Not Call list? I reported the continuing calls to Do Not Call org, and NOTHING! happens. Phone companies should provide a block for harassers without charge to customers.

They have been calling my cell phone everyday for about a month now, and everytime I answer, no one speaks to me.

I have received three phone calls over the last two days from my answering service.

All calls are on Pacific Time.
It is illegal in state of Nevada to make unwanted or harrassing phone calls.Ynder the statute, Caller can face federal prison time and pay hefty fines.These calls ARE being monitored and recorded for prosecution by law enforcemant.All calls from this agency WILL cease and desist IMMEDIATELY(as of 4/12/2009) or they will face legal and criminal prosecution

It is illegal and a felony in the state of Nevada to make or place unwanted or harrassing phone calls under state statute 201.255.Caller can receive a felony prison sentence an hefty fines.I am reporting this calland I am also on Do Not Call Registry.

They keep calling me and state they are a company about furthering my education. I have told them repeatedly to not call me again, and they call daily.

Did not answer. Saved it to my phone book as SPAM Do Not Answer.

While illegal to call before 8am, they call and if I pick up there's no one there. I have no idea who they are or what they want.

As for stating you're an FBI agent. Doing that when you aren't is illegal too.

EZ solution to this problem! tell them you are FBI special agent(your last name) How can I assist you today! I use to get 4-5 calls a day now maybe once, And I keep saying the same thing and they hang up, I have had other 800# callers apoligize to me and say they will take me off there callers list, Give it a try what do you have to lose.

It was Sunday afternoon, and I was not happy. I told them about it and also told them to not call me before 9AM, or after 9PM. And then hung up on them. This has been going on for awhile.

I would like to have these disturbing calls stopped
