How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Recorded messege states they are looking for someone I don't know!! I hang up. Caller id shows name unavailable. I wish they would stop calling me!!!!
I think it's from Federal Credit Corp. They called...then half an hour later...this 877-999-1962 call.

oh. cross reference to 585-421-1011. they have started calling to get informastion about an employee. yep, they are collections.
this company calls trying to get information about employees, where located, what number to reach them, who they report to...all kinds of info that can NOT be given out. But keeps calling. I called the number back and got a recording that sounded like Conserv, but just not sure exactly what it says. My guess is a collection agency looking for a victim.
