How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

VERY irritating. there were SEVEN calls from this number on the caller ID yesterday alone. NO messages were left on the answering machine. It has started again today! What ever happened to the DO NOT CALL list??
If you don't leave a message you will never get through to me. My phone doesn't even ring if the caller isn't in my phone book with a ring associated, I just get a beep when I've missed your call! Ha Ha!
This number keeps calling my house. I have caller i.d. and don't anwer toll free calls. they don't give up!!!
Called at dinner time, when I answered the phone heard background noise, no human spoke.
No message as I don't answer the phone for numbers I don't recongize.
This is from the Campaign for Health Care Reform. It is a front organization set up by the Wash DC based U S Chamber of Commerce. And guess what! The U S Chamber of Commerce has as members the Health Insurance Industry that is trying to kill health reform because the legislation regulates health insurance industry bad practice such as denying coverage for pre existing conditions, kicking insureds out of their health plan when they get sick and exceed life time caps on pay outs etc. etc. Call the U S Chamber at 1-800-638-6582 to shame them for trying to kill needed health reform and doing it by such tacky methods as spaming your telephone number.
They called here and was mumbling something and I could tell from the tone that it was a telemarketer. So I hung up. Second time they have called here in last couple of days.
I got a call for Campaign for Health Care Reform also. The poll isn't really a poll -- it's a scare call disguised as a poll, with your options being (1) keep the current health care system or (2) let Washington spend hundreds of billions of your dollars for no effect. When I answered #2 the person seemed shocked. It's just an insurance company shill.
They called and said they were with the CAMPAIGN FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM . I asked forn their sponsor and GOT A HANGUP, Next day they called again I asked for their no. and they hung up I had it on caller ID Someone for HEALTH CARE REFORM is both ILLIGITIMATE and UNPROFESSIONAL and apparantly wishing to operate from secrecy while upon getting favorable input use that to beef up the survey nos. ETHICAL ?
I don't know who this is, but they keep interrupting my business day with repeated calls.
