I have been having issues with Wells Fargo marketing and even called the number and opted out just to have the problem come back after a few months. To everybody who wants to completely stop getting harrased by phone/email/mail. Do the following:

This number has called me numerous times a day for weeks. When I am home to answer I explain to them every time that the man they are looking for is someone that not only doesn't live here, but I've never even heard of him. I've had the same number for 4 years and these calls startedabout 6 months ago. When they called tonight and I started to explain yet again that he wasn't associated in any way with anyone in my household the man on the phone hung up on me.
I have been getting repeated calls from 1-877-740-3335 to my new phone number (cable line) of 1 month which I have never provided to anyone outside of my own family (I have another line I use for business calls). They finally reached me, a woman asked for me BY NAME. She told me because Wells Fargo valued my business so much they will be sending me a free gas card and then she wanted to talk to me about insurance. When I asked how she got this number and what they could tell me about my Wells Fargo account, the woman hung up on me.
I have had a no call/no share/no solicitation restriction on my accounts at Wells Fargo since the late 1990's because of their insurance cross-sales attempts at that time, and I am assured by Wells Fargo customer service that it is still in effect. So it is definitely a violation of both Wells Fargo's corporate policy and government policy that I received a sales phone call from a company associated with Wells Fargo, at a phone number that I had not even given to Wells Fargo.
I get called by this number almost every day. No message is left on the machine. nobody there when i answer. Ever since I got caller ID, I've been bombarded with spam calls like this from everywhere.
I've been getting several calls a day from 877-740-3335. It shows up on my caller ID as "800 Service". The *69 thing got me the actual number. When I answer it, there is silence for about 5 seconds, followed by some clicking and then a fast busy signal. When I try to call them back, it rings a few times and then I get the same fast busy signal. Cox says they can block the number, but it will cost $5 a month! What a rip off!
We need to start demanding that our representatives do the job they are elected to perform for the public, not continue to prostitute themselves to special interest. "no calls" means no calls, period, or it should. There should be an option that states "no exceptions"
Like this current "Health care debate", any reasonable American can see how corrupted our Politicians are, looking out for the interest of big Banks and big Insurance. This needs to stop! Our Constitution was founded to stop the abuse of the little people by the Powerful. We have just replaced the Nobles with the Corporate tyrants. I suspect that many of our current Politicians would have sided with England and King George during the Revolution.
Called back like previous commenter did and hit "1" to stop the calls. But then they asked for my phone number and zip code to take me off their list. I hung up at that point.
I have a mortgage with Wells Fargo. Evidently they are giving it out to solicitors.
We have also received several no message left calls from 877-740-3335 which upon returning the call reached Wells Fargo and a recording explained they were soliciting business and to press one to be removed from their marketing. I did. Will wait and see if it was successful. I do no business with them, but have a son still technically living at home that may.

Wells Fargo - Promotional solicitation
Consistant daily (2X) calls. I believe this to be an agent of Wells Fargo trying to sell life insurance. This has been going on for over 2 months. I am a customer of Wells Fargo.
After reading the following comments I believe it has all been said. I am sick of getting calls. I am a satisfied Wells Fargo customer but if it has come to telemarketing, I'll change banks.
I am on a no call list and do not want to be bothered with solicitors. I have traced this number to National Union Fire Insurance Company, 625 Liberty Avenue, Pitts. PA. and was informed the number was provided by Wells Fargo. Evidently Wells Fargo is in the business of selling or providing phone numbers to other companies. If I want to buy something I am very capable of choosing where I want to buy it. Needless to say I am disgusted that Wells Fargo is betraying me by giving my phone number out to their associates.

THIS NUMBER CONSISTANTLY CALLS MY HOME PHONE. Called on 5/21 @ 7:07 pm; 5/22 @ 11:23 am; 5/23 @ 4:53 pm; 5/26 @ 1:05 pm; and again on 5/26 @ 7:05 pm. I am contacting the phone company and filing harassment charges if they can locate the person who owns this number. Hopefully this will get it stopped.

I have my privacy options set so that Wells Fargo may contact me only via U. S. Mail, yet I am bombarded daily with calls from their companies wanting to sell insurance or the snake oil of the day. Privacy options mean nothing to Wells Fargo!
If you bank online with Wells Fargo, there is a way to stop the calls. Go to the Wells Fargo website and click on "Account Services". Look for the section that says "My Profile" and click on "Change Privacy Preferences". On there, it asks you if you want to share your info with other Wells Fargo companies. Click no. Also, it asks if you want to receive offers from Wells Fargo companies through mail, e-mail, and phone calls. Click no and then click "submit".
If this number, 877-740-3335, is from Wells Fargo. I should close all my accounts at Wells Fargo. I received 9 calls within 3 days.
Said they were calling from Wells Fargo and wanted to thank me for being a long time customer and they had a special insurance program for me. I've never had a Wells Fargo account or with any of the banks that now make up Wells Fargo. The woman "did" apologize and say she'd take my number off their list - it would take about 30 days to become effective. Haven't been around to answer another call, but has shown up on Caller ID since. See if it goes away around the end of the month.
Guess those banks are out their trying to get their hands on whatever cash they can these days.
I agree with most of you who are fed up of receiving these calls. What's worse is that they don't leave a message indicating who they are or what they want. We are also on the 'Do not to be call' list.

Just so everyone knows, I talked to Wells Fargo. The number and "Rick's" comment below are a scam. Do NOT call the number he recommends as it's designed to capture your soc number.
I got many phone calls from this number : 877- 740 - 3335 . They call everyday , 3 and 4 times a day but never leave a message and I am sick of it . This is very annoying . I just want them to stop calling me . How can I get rid of them ?

I have asked Wells Fargo to remove me from this call list EVERY TIME THEY CALL!!! Still, I get these calls for disabilty/accident insurance. Now I don't even answer it anymore.

This is Wells Fargo. I called the number back and a recording says it is Wells Fargo with an important offer. It also gives you the option to remove your number from their database.
They just keep calling and calling. I hope they enjoy talking to the fax machine I have on that line!
I've posted on here before about the real people calling and they delete my post. This is a collection company calling. I suspect some of the posts here are from people who work there. Charlie says that the company is in Pa. but the FAX number is a New York number. That's weird. A reputable company would not use harrassing phone techniques to sell something. Only an idiot would continue to call after being told "no" and stop calling.
No reputable company would call people in a harrassing manner in order to sell them something. I suspect a lot of posts on here are planted by the perpetrator(s) of the company calling. Charlie: how does a Pittsburg insurance company have a fax number located in New York? Someone said that it is a collection company. That is who is calling.

Update to my above comment: This is not actually National Union, but a company called Influent, calling on behalf of National Union, on behalf of Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo sure likes to share my personal information with a lot of people.
Telemarketers calling on behalf of WellsFargo, supposedly, to sell Life Insurance.
This number belongs to National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, PA. They claim to be telemarketing on behalf of Wells Fargo.
Thats what the "DO NOT CALL LIST" is for, to get all unlisted numbers so telemarketers can annoy you. If you have a cell phone, DO NOT sign up, you'll just get more calls. On another note, don't sign up for any free stuff that requires a phone number...they'll just sell your number to marketing.
After getting bombarded daily (many days multiple times) I finally answered to find it is a Telemarketer on behalf of Wellsfargo. What a shameless company Wellsfargo has become! I suggest filing the privacy choice with them with nothing allowed.

this number has called me over and over - I don't answer calls that I don't know. when does a company catch a clue and quit calling - two times is ok for a business to attempt.4-5-6-7-8 is not ok. they NEVER leave a message.
This number calls 2 or 3 times a day, never leaves a message. The multiple calls are around 20 to 30 minutes apart.
NCO or NCR collection agency. Threatened that they were going to have me arrested! Doesn't make sense because I told them that the person they were looking for was not me. They have called after 9pm which is odd since there are laws against that sort of thing. They also tried a month ago saying they were a government agency looking for the same person. They are lying or this is some kind of scam.
