How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

I do not know who it is. I did not pick up and they left no message.
The DNC is joke...I filed so may complaints from various numbers..Wonder where this government money is going...
market research for automobile insurance
Called the number back and a recording states that it is a research company that does research for government and political entities, small businesses, and organizations. It continues to state that they are not covered under the DNC registry. However, if you would like removed from receiving further calls you should send an email to: remove@pacificmarketresearch.com and include the phone number where you have been receiving the calls. Of course you must allow 7 days for them to take your number off their list. I did send an email and I can say that I stated alot more then just to remove my number from their call list. Like even though they are not covered under the DNC list they still must abide by the rules that state once they have been notified, in writing, to remove the number they must do so. We will see if it works!!
Rcvd another call this evening. Many of these type calls from the northwest U.S. lately.
Called Sunday & today and left nothing. Could be someone researching for a voice or an answer to give to someone else for info. (perhaps a debt collector or to get money out of you). It's the newest work at home type of business which is paid by % of amount collected.
Been calling for months and months; we don't answer, get recorder, they hang-up-leaves a loud peep. Disturbing. So answered once. Market Research. Asked not to call, then hung-up; they called back--when asked them not to call back several times--pretended not to hear it-then, starting laughing. Hung-up. Disturbing. How long will this continue?-it is stalking which is against the law in our state. ALR it is Sunday. Will file with the BI, Attorney General and FTC.

I have filed a complaint with the FTC because I received 3 calls on Sunday from this number, in addition to other calls on other days. I also intend to file with the attorney general of my state.
Have gotten many many calls from this number which I do not answer. Voicemail picks up end of message, which offers a free cruise to the Bahamas in exchange for answering a 30 second survey about the debt or economy can't recall which it is
