Who Called Us

they called me at 7:31pm today, they've calld in the past but i've always ignored it. today i decided to call them (blocked my # of course) a female answered and said it was corporate office no company name, i didnt even get her name. told her someone called me from there, she offered no information that was it, no questions nothing.

Have called me 4 times in two days. There is no name, just the number. Today called me at 5:32pm, 6:07pm, and 8:49 pm. What do they want???

the number 877-545-2147 called me to inform me that TCF Bank in Michigan gave them my number and they wanted to enter me into a visa-give a way? Told them I'm not interested and they are calling me again at 8:39 pm 3-39-2007

I received a phone call from them several times and once today. Next time I think I am going the "I am sorry but she is dead" route and see what happens.

Ignore this number

Continuous pattern of of repeated call at all hours of day and night. 16 calls yesterday never a message and always busy on return call. No response when calls are answered. obvious scam.

They call me a couple of days a week, and they call me like every thirty minutes on those days. When are they going to get the clue. If they really need something the should leave a message.

Didn't answer. They called my home at 7:48am this morning. I thought solicitors weren't allowed to call until 8:00am?

They have changed their phone number on the caller i.d. to 415-562-3270. Everything that is in these few comments were stated to me also. $3.97 just for shipping. But act now because the package cost $97.00 and the promotion was going to end on the 25th of December. Thanks for the warning me to this scam. Nobody needs their credit card number without some type of paper work showing "the truth in lending". Let get these guys gone.

if you keep getting phone calls just tell them to stop calling you. they called me a bunch until i told them off. i hope that helps anyone out there.

got a call at 8:45pm. said I was looking for grants online. which was true. they wanted me to pay $3.97 over the phone. He gave me a (877)545-2147 it did not match the caller id.I just told him I'll look into his company and give him a call back.

THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING ME NOT SAYING ANYTHING, A FEW TIMES A DAY. HOW DO i FILE A FORMAL COMPLANT?

i've received several calls from this number and it's become really annoying. i never picked up and i get absolutely not messages.

They called 11/09@ 3:28pm,11:09 @ 11:09am. they left no message and the caller id says "Out of Area". I call back and it rings but no answer. please help!!!

I keep getting these phone calls. I don't answer but when you try to call back it just rings and no answer. They call me several times a day. I know they called last night a little for 9pm eastern. Which was the last call from yesterday. But everyday they are calling at least three to four times a day.

I am tired of them calling me all through the day and night and everly in the morning they start from 8:39 in the in the mornin and end up at 10:00 at night this morning I answer and it was from US Government Grants and the man tried to get me to give him a credit card number of bank account to pay for shipping the package but I tlod him I didn't have either

I got a call from this place earlier today of which was when I was sleeping... My mom answered it and asked who it was and they hung up on her, I think more people need to know more about this because it does seem rather fishy. I just got another phonecall from this place - And I didn't really understand what they were saying it was an indian lady who called me and she just talked so fast that no one could understand her. I decided I was going to put my mom on the phone because she is more in control of who I get grants and stuff from. The lady who called said she'd send us a package on US Grant information and that she would also send me a check immediatly for my Educational Purposes for 25,000.00 made out to me, in turn, she wanted a credit card number OR a debit card number to have a shipping and handling charge of $3.97 billed to me to send the package. I found it kinda fishy and we asked for a phone number and what agency she was calling from... Turns out she didn't want to give us a number, but said that the website was gsassistance.com - "Grant Search Assistance", we said we'd call her back... I got on the computer and looked up the site, and did a search for the number, and I found this place. Thanks to all of you I avoided this, and I am posting this to hope to help some of you with this place as well. Don't do it, it dosen't seem legit, it's too good to be true. I called back and asked what kinda agency they were and a guy answered the phone, same indian accent, and he said it was a Grant Search agency... Then I just hung up, hope this helps some of you.

They kept calling me during class- when I picked up later on, they completely butchered the pronunciation of my name but wouldn't take a message. I have no idea how they got my number-as far as I know, my number is completely unlisted and on the no-call list.

877-525-2147 has called me twice today on cell phone and did not leave message. I tried to call back and got no answer.

I recieved a call from 877-545-2147. I found this is something to do with obtaining a government grant. Something wrong with this picture, anytime a government grant is needed there is a lot of paperwork or a dissertation too write.

i received a call today from that phone number they did not leave a message and i was not going to answer. they also called on 10-27 at 422 pm and said they wanted to talk about grant money. shall i answer next time or ignore their calls.

they called today looking for stanley phung and they said it was regarding government grants/free money. it was a lady this time and when i asked her to stop calling she said "ok". we shall see how long that will be.

They called just now at 2:50 PM and they've called 3 days in a row. I just cranked up some music and set the phone beside the speaker. It won't accomplish anything, but it makes me feel good.

They have called several times over the last weeks. Each time they want $3.97 on a credit or debit card for information on US Grants. They have an accent that sounds Indian (India).
They will not provide an address to send a check or money order, they give this number for a call back and no one ever answers.
We are told that this number is monitored by the US Government (which I don't believe!) and we can be assured that they are not committing fraud. They have our phone number and e-mail address, yet they ask for my husband when everything is in my name. They insist that the post office requires them to have a bank-to-bank transfer, so no postal money orders?!
They have no website and will not mail out any information.

when i answered the phone she asked for my husband i told that her he was at work and if this was soliciting or telemarketing we don't want you to call here and she gets smart this is not solicinting and hangs up

i received a call today from that phone number they were looking for a stanley fung. they had called at 8.32 pm. i said they had the wrong number. they also called on 10/18/06 at 8.51 pm
