Who Called Us

Got called by this number last night while sleeping but didn't hear it ring. When I woke up it had eaten up several minutes on my phone, way more than just "one missed call" would cause. Something fishy going on here.

A woman named Amber called to speak to a "Donnie." When told it was a wrong number, she asked if I knew him and where to find him. I said no and she said that she was sorry to bother me.

Unknown. No message.

This young smartellic guy called at 11am 8/21/2012 askingor either a Justin or Dustin Caldwell several times and didn't say why or anything else..I told him to not call again or would call my friends at the local sheriff's department. ( I only had this number about 6 monthes ).

This is credit bureau. They are trying to find the guy who had my tracphone number previously. Just a lame collection agency that calls repeatedly. How do these idiots ever collect anything by calling outdated phone numbers?

Recorded message saying it was important that a person I never heard of contact them and to call back if I knew of his whereabouts. Obviously a collection call. But why are they calling me for this person? Some kind of scam...

COLLECTION CALL FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T LIVE HERE. THEY LOVE TO SAY "IF YOU CONTINUE TO LISTEN TO THIS MESSAGE, THEN... ". THESE SOUND LIKE REAL LOW BOTTOM-FEEDERS.

I don't know how you got this number and what kind of business that I've got with you and if you have business with someone then you let them know something through the mail that is more professional. So, I don't know who you are so, don't call this number again and if so, I'll get my lawyer involved in this case also. I like like it when all of these nonsense phone calls are made to my house wasting my time because I've got other things to do more important and there are so many scammer's in this world trying to get their foot in the door and into your pocketbook.

My son is deployed and they keep calling saying I need to get a hold of him for a personal reason. Of course I was very concerned. They said he was in debt. I know for a fact that he has not outstanding debt. When I asked who was calling they replied, "EOSCCA" was calling....I asked what does that stand for, and she replied, "It is none of your business." Obviously, I hung up the phone. So, I googled the number and found numerous sites with similar stories. These people are beyond rude. How stupid do they think I am...when my son calls, I am going to tell him to call this bogus agency. No way! I am sure we would have gotten a billing from any business if money was actually owed.

These people called my place of employment numerous times but since I'm only actually in the office once every week or two they were basically harassing my coworkers. When I finally called them I immediately got a bad vibe. The woman said it was regarding an AT&T balance (which I, like the other person above have a current account with AT&T). I told her I had already disputed the charge a couple of times via mail (which I have, and had no response validating the debt) and that it was ridiculous that they are calling my work and she said "No, what's ridiculous is your $55 debt you refuse to pay." I got PISSED and told her I was on my employer's time and if they call me at work again I will file harassment charges. At this point there is no evidence that this debt is legit, and there's no way I'm giving anyone a dime until I see proof. I may just file a complaint with the FTC (ftc.gov) and I think everyone else should do the same.

They called me at work! Surely they are laws against this?

I've been receiving computer generated messages on my answering machine for the past week, sometimes more than once a day. Saying it's an important personal matter.

I assumed if it were that important or that personal they could leave a message. I DID NOT RETURN THE CALL.

Called a relative of mine asking for me. They stated that they were AT&T. I called the 1-877-489-1148 back on a Saturday and the phone rang for like 50 rings and then an answering machine picked up and stated "Southwest AT&T" is not available please leave a message. I find it funny the the PHONE COMPANY would use an analog answering machine and not voice mail. It sounds like a shady collection company to me.

Called on 7/27/07 Did not show caller ID. Got recording and call back number, but did not say what kind of company they are or what the call was about. Typical of credit card company tatics. Assholes.

I called them back. They answered "CCA". I told them they had the wrong number, they said they'd remove me from their database.

Called my cell several times in one day, and then every couple days. Never left a voice mail. I am on DNC.
