Who Called Us

I answered this call, an operator answered, and asked for me. I said that I wasn't me, no knowing who it was. Later called, number, was CenturyLink.

This was the third or fourth time this number has shown up on my caller ID. And again. NO MESSAGE. So much for professionalism from a supposedly legitimate company if it is in deed Qwest. I will be filing a complaint against them with thier own offices for disrespecting me and my family by calling and hanging up on my answering machine. We, like so many other citizens of this country, supply a means by which legitimate callers can leave proper messages for us so that we can return important calls only to have these kinds of calls come in from people that should be leaving a proper message.

Don't know who they are or who they are trying to reach. No message left on our answering machine and it appears they don't give a damn about the NDNCR. I will just keep filing against them till someone does something to them for it.

This number is actually being listed as a number to call for Rent to own places on craiglist. Must be a scam.

They are phishers trying to steal your identity, if you receive a call from them contact your attorney generals office and file a complaint. They try posing as Real estate agents/debt collectors/etc. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!

I have received call from the number several times. When I answer the phone, no one responds.

This is NOT Qwest. Dead air, then asked to verify my name, wanted to "review my account to see if info correct and offer promos" Lots of Call-center noise in background. Report this number to the real Qwest at 800-582-0655. These are scammers - do NOT give info, report to Qwest and Donotcall.gov

Call to see if we liked our telephone service. Husband stated that we liked it fine, we are on do not call list and hung up.

This isn't qwest. they act like they are but it isn't them. scammers.

I answered with "hello?" and got dead air at first, then when I said "hello?" again, a female asked to speak to Michael (our phone and dsl is in my son's name). When I told her he was unavailable at the time, she asked that I have him call her back. When I asked who she was with, she said "your local telephone company". I said, "Qwest?" and she said "yes". OMG! Now, I really regret going back to them!

I called the number from my cell phone. It was Qwest and it was a courtesy call to review my account. I asked them to remove me and the kid said I was taken off. We will see...

Keep calling, never leave a message or they aren't there at all when I answer.

enough already, every day, no one says anything, just hang up, when I called back, they didn't say anything, but you could hear stuff in the background. Way to go Qwest, I was a happy customer, starting to get really annoyed. Not the only game in town anymore.

This number calls my house at least once a day and every time I answer they hang up on me. I finally got paranoid, in that "ACK STOP CALLING ME!" kind of way and looked the number up. Stupid Qwest.

Comes through as Unknown. They never leave a message, but call my home number. When I called the number back, they answer with "Hi, it's a great day here at Qwest." I hung up on them -- see how they like that!

I am also a current customer for phone service -- maybe they are trying to convert me for Internet or television, too.

This number is from Qwest. Calling to get me to convert to them. I'm already a customer of theirs. How stupid.
