How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

NCO Financial Systems. They are a fisher company that randomly calls people up saying that you owe them money. Problem is they either buy old debt that has already been settled or just using the fear factor of possibly owing money to get people to pay.
You will NEVER get calls from a legitimate financial institution out of the blue. They would either send you letters or set up a time to talk to you. Neither of which this company does so feel free to ignore or block or complain to the proper authorities about the harassing calls.
Call from a woman who asked for me by my first name. Her accent was so heavy that I couldn't understand most of what she said but did understand her to say that she wasn't trying to sell me anything. At that point, I said goodbye and hung up.
These folks call and you can hardly understand them and then ask for someone that doesn't even live here and that really makes me mad, as they told me that this call was being recorded & I said that I don't care. I called them back to tell them to remove my number from whatever list they are looking at as they stated that they would do so, well we will see IF they call me again and then I change my number. I don't owe nobody any money and I wish that they would quit calling ME!
These people call all the time, but there is never anyone on the line when I answer. If I owe money, I will pay it, but quit calling and not saying anything!
Got a call from this number and i answered it due to i'm tired of solicitors calling me. They asked for an Amy and I told them they had the wrong cell number and to take me off there calling list and the woman came back at me with you don't know an Amy or anyone there with that name. And I very verbally told her what I thought and hung up.. Sick of those people calling me.
Called my parents asking for my husband. We filed bankruptcy back in 2004 and they are probably trying to collect on a debt taken care of in proceedings.
NCO Financial...bill collectors
These people call everyday, several times a day, whenever they feel like it. I finally picked up, and they were asking for someone here and said I was being recorded. I told them that that person wasn't here, and they starting asking for spouse, etc. Not once would she tell me who she was or who she worked for. She also had a terrible accent that was barely understandable.
They also constantly leaves messages telling us to call them back at a number you can't understand. They speak so fast in these messages that you only end up hearing every 5th syllable or so!
Called and left a message and said they were HCL?? Left a reference number. Not sure who they want as the caller had such a foriegn accent that i could not make out the name. it sounded like a collection agency.
OMG! MEXICO IS TAKING OVER! BROAD CALLED, WITH AN ACCENT THAT ONE COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND! HOW IS ANYBODY SUPPOSED TO COMMUNICATE, WHEN THE CALLER CAN'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH? LET ALONE, THERE ARE 2 PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN THIS HOUSE--WHICH ONE DID THE BIMBO NEED TO SPEAK TO??? GOD, I GET SICK OF THESE PEOPLE!
Called several times & left msgs on my PRIVATE cell phone number I've had for many years asking for a ???? Taylor and some garbled reference number. Speaker's voice was unintelligible. How do they expect people to follow-up if THEY cannot speak CLEARLY themselves???
Looked their number up on Google and came back as a bill collector named NCO. I called them to ask to be removed from their database as we don't know anybody named Taylor.
Hopefully that will be the end of it, but I get MANY calls from bill collectors and loan agents on my number for various unknown persons. I'd like to talk with those idiot people that keep leaving bogus numbers (my number) in various databases. *ANGRY*

This is another number this company is using. They reference an code HCR728. Who knows what that crazy number is for.
