Who Called Us

Honestly, I think they are bill collectors posing as Mormons, because why won't they leave a message! I just saying.....

Okay but why they hell would these people be calling my house?

I have received calls from them. The caller ID string is "BYU". I added them to my spam number list.
My test for spammers: If they really want to contact me they should leave a message on the answering machine. They don't.

I really appreciate this site and the info.; so glad it is the church and not another bill collector. I ordered a dvd at Christmas, too.

Mormons keep pestering me. I just wanted a free Book of Mormon and now they act like they're telemarketers. I guess there really is no such thing as a free lunch.

I receive calls from this number 6-7 times a day. I have not purchased anything and they have been calling my home for over 2 months now on a daily bases. I am truly sick and tired of it. And I wish that the would respect you if you answer and not say anything that should be a clue to someone. But I think that I will just report it to my States Attorney Generals Office, and let them deal with it.

I TOO HAVE RECEIVED CALL FROM THIS NUMBER. IT IS PROBABLY THE MORMAN CHURCH . THEY ARE TRYING TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. IT WOULD BE OF BENEFIT TO LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY, I DID.

I got 2 calls from them because I requested a DVD from them. I spoke to them the second time, and I hope that they don't call me again.

I HAVE GOTTEN AT LEAST 3 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER. THE FIRST 2 TIMES I PICKED UP BUT THEN THEY HUNG UP. I GOT TO THE PHONE THIS LAST TIME AND A MAN ASKED FOR A JOSEPH SOMETHING???

They called me twice this week I missed the first one.

They just wanted to make sure I received my copy of the Book of Mormons. They are nice

I joined recently and then I changed my mind. This is only my opinion but they are more like a club to me not true to JESUS CHRIST and know one knows who was Joseph Smith before his alleged first vision with angles or was it God and his son or was it just Jesus
It says in the bible Marriage is 1 man, 1 woman Fundamentalist LDS Church.

They celebrate Joseph Smith.

They've been calling for weeks now, almost every day! I never ordered a thing from them. At first I thought it was a collection agency up to their usual tricks. I called the number back today and it did say it was the Mormon's. I don't know what's going on ... it all seems fishy to me.

They keep calling and even when I answer they just hang up. You'd think that if they wanted me to convert they'd at least try and talk to me...

mormons. it is so disrespectful to try and push your religion on someone else. My family has been killed and oppressed for centuries to try and maintain their religious identity, which comes with years of culture and tradition which I grew up with and have so many precious memories of. Why would I ever give this up for some stranger who stole my unlisted number from somewhere and harasses my by calling at inappropriate times. I respect your beliefs, please respect mine.

Call and hang up with no answer. Today was the first call from this number but there have been other LDS numbers that have called on and off over the last year or so. Never really persistent but it would be nice if they left a message when they get the answering machine. Of course the are probably using automated dialers like most outbound centres so when the machine "detects" a non-human response it just hangs up.

Ugh...Mormons. They call and they come to my door, no matter how rude I am.

I commented in March of this year, after they had been calling me for months. Shortly after the report they stopped calling, but have started again 8 months later. They are relentless. Please pick up and tell them to stop calling, they will not let up.

I've received about a million calls from them. Why do they call so much and never leave a message. I wish they would stop, it's annoying.

Yeah, this is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints a.k.a. The Mormons, and yes they do call a lot, but they are pretty nice and they will stop calling if you ask. Although I know when you end up getting many repeat calls you automatically want to go on the defense, kinda like when you walk into a store and someone immediately jumps all over you and you just wanna say BACK OFF, instead we politely say "just looking"...

I ordered the Book of Mormon online. I never received the book but they call me obsessively about 3 or 4 times per week. I called to have my number removed AND THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE SAID "WE DON'T MAKE OUTGOING CALLS"- LIAR. Screw Mormons. They really know how to scare people away!

It was just the Church of Jesus Christ checking up on some DVD's they had sent me. I didn't know it was the Church, it's ok.

I ordered a Book of Mormon from them a couple of years ago. I read it, decided it wasn't for me. They called back about a year ago and I answered, I told them I wasn't interested. Now a year after that they're calling twice a day. Each time I've asked them not to call again, but they still call. Will respect my wishes, my ass.

They called because my wife requested their book out of curiousity. First few times they left voicemail and asked if the book was received. From there on they just kept calling and hang up after two rings and left no message.

I volunteer in an ESL literacy program.I requested a free Book of Mormon because one of my students is being given a real rush by the Mormons, and I'm trying to show her all sides. (She's heavily leaning my way now.)When I ordered the book, I specifically said---it couldn't have been any clearer---that I didn't want any contact from the church. But I've had three calls. And the funny part is, they never say anything after I answer. Maybe they can sense I've done so much research I could dance circles around them in any discussion. But now that I know what the number is, I'm prepared and will have a few words to say other than "Hello?"

This is a church calling TRYING to spread the WORD of god...Dont answer...they just want your money...

Ahhh, so that's why I have been phoned twice. I did order a dvd, from my childhood. Mr. Kreuger's Christmas or something. I am a member of the church. Now that I know it's them calling me, i would recommend to anyone lese, just to answer, and if not interested, SAY SO! They are very repecting. You don't have to be mean about, they are just as much human as the rest of you. If you're religious too, great! Just show some respect too. And NO, IT IS NOT TELEMARKETING.

Mormon church calling. They get your number if you order any of their products or if any members reccommend you as someone who may be interested.

I get at least 2 calls a day from this number. Been going on about a month now. The second call comes in late, after 8pm. It is aggravating.

They keep calling. Are church groups exempt from obeying the no call list? If their not, they sure think they are!

It's an answering machine for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. I have a mormon friend that requested someone from the church greet you Happy (whatever holiday it is) and send you a free gift. It's usually a dvd on family and love. I don't think it's telemarketing, but I could be wrong. If you tell them not to call you anymore, they respect your request.

No message. Hangs up when answering machine begins. Calls several times weekly.
