THIS NUMBER CALLS AND DOES NOT IDENTIFY WHO THEY ARE AND JUST LEAVES WHO THEY ARE CONTACTING AND THE CALL BACK NUMBER AND A REFERENCE NUMBER.THEY CALL SO MANY TIMES DURING THE DAY.

WAM is a legitimate company. I receive occasional automated calls from them both at home and at work. However, I also receive an invoice from them so I know that they are calling about a hospital bill that I owe. They call at home and at work because those are the phone numbers I put on the hospital papers. I agree that it is annoying to call back and get an automated recording and a human does not answer timely. I've called from work but had to hang up because they take too long.

I got the same message everyone else got saying they were a debt management company and asked me to call 866-882-5878. I called the number after checking into it on the web and the automated system asked twice for the last 4 digits of my social. I obviously refused to enter it and just pressed #. After the second #, I was transferred to a friendly representative who asked for Margarita Garcia. She was the previous tennant at my address so I knew the call was legitimate. I told the representative that she was the previous tennant and that she no longer lived here. The representative promptly replied saying she would remove my number from their list and stop calling. She said if I receive another call, I should call back and ask to speak with a supervisor. That's it. We'll see if they actually remove me or not, but my advice to those getting this call is to call back and if you owe money, pay it like the rest of us do. If you don't owe money, explain to them the error and they should leave you alone. It's really not that complicated.

These people left three messages on my cell phone. I called back just to gripe them out because I don't owe anybody any money. They are very sneaky asking for your home phone and social security number etc. DON'T give it to them just put in stupid numbers like 1234 etc. I am on a do not call list so I expect they are doing something illegal so I reported that also. They don't answer on the weekend so I'll have to wait till Monday to tell them off.

So you dont pay money you owe and then they call and you are mad!! Dont spend money you dont have losers! YOu are the reason these people are calling my house. They are looking for someone that used to live there and that owe money. IT IS COMMON SENSE! DONT SPEND IT IF YOU DONT HAVE IT!

LOL......These fools keep calling tryin' to get paid. It ain't gonna' happen. They called with and ID of 903-891-1105, but left a message to return the call at 866-882-5878. Sometimes they even try to get smart and call with a local area code ID. Either which way, THEY GETS NO DOUGH FROM ME. LOL

these people are seriously violating the law, they called my wife's cell asking for some woman, we told them they had the wrong number and they kept on caling. It got so bad we had to go the police to report this harassment. The police called them and they told the cops the number would be deleted from the list. Well, they keep on calling and im seriously considering taking them to court. Not only they are calling the wrong people but they keep on harassing us even tho we notified them they got the wrong number.

ok i work for wam and while they have no excuse for being rude to anyone they do have laws that they have to follow federal laws such as if they ask you to verify your address do it it is a federal law that they cant tell you what the call is concernig untill you do they arent being assholes they are just following laws as to the calls at work they arent illegal unless you tell them you cant recieve these calls at work and if they arent calling for you tell them its a bad number if they keep calling its because they use a search with the persons name and ssn and your number keeps popping up

I have gotten numerous calls from this company, including 2 in the past 3 days. I have called back everytime and they are looking for Joseph (or Tammy)Carrigan or Christopher Hall. I have explained to them that I know for a fact these people have stolen my phone number and to please stop calling me. My number belonged to the Carrigan's before it was assigned to me 4 years ago and they are still using it because I get calls from debt collectors all the time.

These people called me trying to collect on a debt for people I don't have a clue who they are. They were extremely rude. I asked how they got my number and was told it was given as a reference number. Bull! I demanded to talk with a supervisor named Leslie. She told me she couldn't give the information as to who gave my number (it was confidential) HA! I asked for other numbers that were listed by the people who had the debt and called one of the numbers. It happened to be a lawyer representing a major firm in my hometown. She is going call the company tommorrow. Now I plan to block the number from calling me again.

i searched the # being listed for someone in TX. I called the #, automated giving another # to call,
866-882-5878. a girl asked for Whitney Sherman.

Same as others. Voicemail on cellphone said to call this number re: some acct number I don't recognize.

Caller ID showed 903-891-1066. Nobody picks up when you call back.

Recorded message on my cell phone saying they were trying to collect a debt. Gave their name as West Asset Management, but didn't say who they were trying to reach or who they were representing. Asked me to return the call.

no clue as to who this is. they call and when the phone is answered, its an automated voice saying "hello, we have a very important message for (name), please hold the line" and no one ever comes to it.

computerized call asking for a coworker and then when you don't press the appropriate button on the keypad, it asks for this person to call back @ 866-882-5878. Caller ID# was 803-891-1066

ANNOYING...called the main number at the switchboard where I work. It's a recording, lists my name.

what you all need to do is write them a letter you can download from budhibbs . com instructing them to stop calling you. It is the law, they have to stop once you;ve notified them in writing. Send it with return receive so they can;t say they didn;t get it and save copy for yourself. they are debt collectors. they live off the misery of others just like the vultures they are

Left message on answering machine giving only a phone number. Not sure it is for me but isn't it illegal to call work numbers? I thought it was considered a form of harrassment these days.
