Who Called Us

Called me asking me personal questions claiming to be Time Warner Cable, freaked me out, so I called Time Warner to make sure no one had my information and they reassured me it was not them calling me, and that they would not ever call for something like this.

Calling late on a Sunday night, using no-ID, not leaving VM - this is hideously rude behavior, and makes me regret my recent switch from VZ to Sprint. MY number is and has been listed with DNC for years. If the calls continue, they'll be logged and reported to the FCC, since Virginia is a no-harrassment state. Sprint, are you paying attention?

This is Sprint doing a review of the service; every rep gets an average of 10 quality surveys; if your work was good then give 'em 5's. NO they're not going to leave a message because they're going to record the survey. If you call this number IT TELLS YOU IT IS A SURVEY.

If this Sprint calling me, I do have Sprint cell phone service. PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE.. BUT I'M IN NO MOOD TO TAKE A SURVEY THAT'S WHAT MENOPAUSE DOES TO YOU. If they call again I will answer and may GOD HELP THEM.

This number is ALWAYS on our caller id and often hangs up when we answer. Finally I got somone on the line one day when my husband answered. Wanting me to do a survey on current issues??? I said I did not have time and not to call back. The caller was rude with my husband who answered and he handed it to me to figure out if I knew what this guy was wanting since he asked for me. Seeing comments below, I do have Sprint. Maybe it was them, but I don't know why he would not have identified himself as such. Plus, I don't need to speak to them about anything.

This 866-877-9830 is calling me everday and when I answer they hang up and the caller ID reads this phone Number and toll free number registered " toll free number" I'm crippled and have a hard time getting to the phone. This is no doubt Sprint. I will cancel my service real soon. The calls are coming in afer 9:30 PM.

Phone rang I answered and they hung up. I Star 69'd the number and it came up as 866.877.9830. I have never had sprint before and I never will, given the rude intrusions that this call centers makes randomly. I am going to report them to the Do Not Call List.

text message flashes on and off "Please enter 4 to 17 digits for a phone number" Just changed Sprint service, and issues were resolved - so it is a mystery why I am getting this === will call the number back and see what they have in their database (they are supposed to take notes when you call and should see the history in your account, no matter which customer service person you talk to....)

Lady called 8:18 PM from "Publisher's". Wanted to "discuss" my Reader's Digest subscription. I asked her my address and she had it. I said, "can I give you my credit card number right now?" and she said we'll get to that. I asked how many subscriptions I currently pay for R.D. and she didn't know (I have 2). I told her I already renewed my subscriptions this year (2 months ago) and she hung up.

my husband and I just got sprint contract phones last month so we gave our cingular pre-paid cells to our girls. this # just called what used to be my husbands phone (now our 12yo) and asked for my husband. when she informed them that it wasnt his phone anymore they asked if she was over 18....I just got the phone and hung up on them. i figure they were trying to sell something. if its important they will call the # that goes to the sprint bill we pay each month!

I received a call from them and they just wanted to check how a call to information was handeled on my phone. I'm assuming it was just a courtesy call ...my daughter had made the call.

Asked for a name, mumbled so bad couldn't understand her. Did say her name and claimed to be from Nextel. I said no one by that name here and this is a do not call number so do NOT CALL again. Then the bimbo went into a sales pitch. I said I'm neither deaf or dumb, YOU were told this is a do not call number. So I hung up on her "speech".

they had my daughter's name right (both last name and first name). i told them she was not at home. they called twice: 12 feb 2008 at 6:21 pm and 11 feb 2008 at 7:51 pm. my daughter recently cancelled her sprint cell phone plan.

Missed call from 866-877-9830, they left no message. Cellphones have voicemail for a reason.

I missed both calls on Sunday about 2 hours apart. Since it was my cell phone and I don't generally give it out for business purposes, I suspected it was Sprint and this web site confirmed it for me.

Everytime that I answered the call no one would be on the other line, however they continue to call.

i answered this call because it kept calling me all day and its for camden county corrections...later i found that my friend was locked up.

Received a call from 866-877-9830. They said that they see I used a 411 service last Saturday and wondered if I remembered the exact number I called for and how the service was? Since I couldn't remember the conversation exactly they weren't interested in talking to me anymore. I'm not interested in answering any questions. What a bunch of crap.

Came up as unknown with the # only. Did not answer. They hung up on machine. I called the # back & it sounded like a fax line. Googled it and found it was Sprint. Last time they were calling my cell, wanting me to add another cell phone line. When I asked them NEVER to call again, the calls increased from weekly to daily, then nothing after a few weeks. Now they start with the home number...SOLICITORS ARE AS BAD AS PARKING ENFORCEMENT PIGS!

its the sprint cs just calling about a ticket I had but its really to inquier about me taking a survey. They harras you they called me 3times on a sunday. and the caller Id only displays the number not the co name.

Basically, Sprint sucks. You can quote me on that. This 866 number is yet another example of them not knowing or caring what they are doing.

It is sprint, I called customer service after I recieved my first bill from these people for 400 dollars and didnt even use all my minutes I had 1700 left on a 200 minute plan they were going to charge me al these other activation fees and what not. My bill went from 400 dollars to 98.00!!!! These people are crazy. they know me by name when I call now!!!! lol their just idiots..

It was Sprint wanting me to renew my 2 year contract with them for 5% off my bill for the 1st year or something. My contract expires in January.

I was getting harassed every week by this number. No message, hang up, survey, automated message. I called sprint and told them to add me to their do not call list. I also threaten to change carriers if I got one more call. The calls ceased!

I have since changed to Verizon and after 10 months of silence, they appear to be at it again.

Wanting to take a survey about my recent call to customer dis-service. Hung up when I said hello. The great thing about a Blackberry is the ability to BLACKLIST annoying numbers and let them talk to the voice mail box.

They are Sprint. I am amazed that we are new customers to Sprint and it has been the worst experience. After many calls to their customer service that have been unresolved, they are wasting my minutes and time wanting me to take a satisfaction survey. Worst provider ever.

It is Sprint Quality Assurance. I answered the call and it was someone from their QA team conducting a survey about the recent call that I made to customer service.

My Sprint Cell phone rang. I didn't pick up. Caller ID told me I missed a call from this number. No voicemail was left. Glad I didn't answer. Most annoyingly, I'm on the do not call list.

Sprint to pay your bill before they turn you OFF!! Calling you to take a brief survey concerning your latest CS call!! OMG, why don't they spend the time and money improving there network & CS!! This has got to be a serious joke, how can a company so crappy to its customers stay in business? When my contract is up I'm running to another carrier!! I'll be Sprinting Ahead alright, right out of Sprints pocket book! Crappy carrier!! This company needs a class action suit for breach of service---period!!

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ON SEPT 9 AT 10:38 AM.....WHEN I PICKED UP, NO ONE WAS THERE.

Calls received 9/6/07 at 7:18PM and today at 6:01 PM. Nobody is on the line and no message is received. I am a former SPRINT customer. Nothing on call id except "Toll-free" and (866) 877-9830

No caller I.D was shown so I didn't answer. Noi message was left. I came here to see who called. I switched from Sprint to another cell phone provider recently. With these calls, I see yet another reason I am glad I left Sprint.

Sprint says this number is not Sprint but from a 3rd party marketer who calls if you haven't opted out of telephone marketing. Sprint didn't even ask what numbers I was complaining about - they knew it was from a mailing list made immediately available 48 hours after a purchase.

I have Sprint as a provider on both my own, and my fiancee's cell phone (both in my name.) I live with his father, and do not have my own "home phone" and certainly do not give my father-in-law's number away. But my fiancee's brother and sister-in-law live upstairs from us. For some reason, they called the upstairs home phone. Maybe it's a scam of sorts. Who knows.

They called, and said they where from Sprint and asked if I made a call on July 3rd. When I said yes of course, they said ok and hung up. Jerks

Called but I didn't answer. Based on other experiences here, my guess is it was SPRINT. I just upgraded my service and made some other changes with them, so I'm guessing it was a follow up survey.

They called me and asked if I made a call to an Altell phone on so and so date. I told them that I make plenty of calls and am not sure which call she is talking about. She just said ok thanks and hung up. Anybody get that one???

I like Sprint, but I wish they would stop calling me. I have my incoming calls restricted to only people in my phone book. 800 #'s and other calls are sent straight to my voicemail and my phone won't even ring. I love technology.

It's just sprint. Your phone is not being charged minutes if you answer this call. They are just trying to sell other services. You should be able to call customer service and request no more solicitations. Just be nice to the people and you'll find they are cooperative. I haven't gotten a call since.

I just got called by this number on my WORK (land line) phone. It was a woman claming she is from Sprint/Nextel and wanted to do a 12 minute customer satisfaction survey. I was extremely surprised since they called me at work. Called at 17:48 ET.

Got a call from 866-463-3021 claimed it was Nextel/sprint..said I don't use all my minutes..wanted to sell me a diff service and a new phone. ASked me how much my last bill was so he could say how much they would save me. I said your from sprint and you don't know how much my last bill was? He said I am looking it up now..I said we've said all we need to say. I think it's a SCAM

Apparently they are interested in doing surveys after you call customer care for any particular reason.

Have the "missed call" indication - calls come through even though I have the settings set to "restrict all but contacts" Its BS and it should stop!

Said they were some research company doing a survey for Sprint/Nextel. They called me twice so far. First time the girl said it would be a 12 minute survey and I said I wasn't interested. They called again 2 days later on a Sunday night while I was eating dinner. I told the woman that I wasn't interested 2 days ago when they first called. She had to nerve to ask me if I was interested now and I told her to stick it somewhere and stop freaking calling me. Sprint has been really terrible lately. They called my cell for 5 days in a row every morning around 9 am to sell me crap and now they're calling my house phone.

I was avoiding the call beacause I thought it would be some bill collector. The called Saturday and Sunday at noon and Monday evening. When I dailed the number, they said it was a survey about my recent call to Sprint or Nextel. I don't remembering making a call to Sprint. I went to the store to replace my stolen batter. After reading other's posts about harassment, I'm going to answer next time and hope they don't call again.

They goofed when they called me --must've forgotten it was a cell phone. They asked if it was the _______ residence. Since I'm at work, didn't know who they are, and they asked a question like that, I just said "No," which is 100% accurate. If they wanted to know how it went with my recent call to the CS dept, I'd be happy to tell them that it went very well, no complaints at all.

I called Sprint costumer service over a month ago to stop the barrage of calls to my cell phone. For the next couple weeks the onslaught increased. Cell solicitations have finally dropped off, but now they're calling on my home phone. When will they stop???!!!

I called Sprint Customer Service yesterday and requested to stop getting occasional solicitations by phone (from 866-463-3020 and 866-463-3021). Today--so far--I've gotten 3 calls from 866-877-9830. Calling Customer Service has made things worse!

I just cancelled my horrible Sprint service and moved to Verison. 2 days later i get this call on my new cellphone but i missed it. Apparently its Sprint harrassing me and wanting free info to improve their business model. I dont give the reason why i quit other than poor service uness they pay me a customer consulting fee. These p are evil.
