How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Something about Shareworks and a non-profit organization regarding some political crap I think. They have called 4 times tonight and each time I call them back and tell them to take me off their ~!!#!#!$ call list.
Called at 9:00 pm - Caller ID only game the number and Out of Area. Hung up after I said 'hello'.
Keep calling in the evening. Do not leave a message. Call back to the number states they are "exempt" from the do not call list & represent an organization previously supported.
I just got a call from that number. I didn't know who it was so I didn't answer. No message left.

Received a call with "Unknown Name" showing up on the Caller ID. No answer to my pickup and no automated response.

They've called every night this week right around 8PM. Always ask for my wife. I've told them a number of times to take the number off their list. They just hang up. Even tried saying no one by that name lives here, and they still called back tonight.

It's Share Group, they are an agency that does calling on behalf of organizations, in my case it was the the Democratic National Committee.

Yes, they're exempt from do not call for these orgs.
Thats what the guy...same male distinctive voice told me...."they represent a non profit organization that my husband supports."
This time it came across as OUY OF AREA...but I have a print out capacity on the phone and theres that number again!
Received a call with no message. Returned the call and no one answered but there was a recorded message claiming they were The Share Group and went by the name Shareworks. They gave themselves permission to call, even though I am on the Do Not Call Registry, claiming my number was given to them by a non-profit organization I supported. They said they were a progressive group for world change, as well. They called me at 8:10pm ET...no one was there to "get their job done" when I called them back at 8:35pm ET.
just got the call...12:05pm...asked for husband by name and since I was expecting the chimney repair man....told him he was out back and the caller stated rather fast...I'll call back at another time!!!
I just received a call from them on my home phone and didn't pick up. No one left a message.

I answered and they asked for my name as it was over 2 years ago so I told them there was no one here by that name and they hung up.
Got calls from this number and 0881, both instant hang ups. Looks like phishing.

I answered and there was only silence on the other end, so I hung up.
