I tried calling back and got the message "invalid number".
This number calls us several times a week and never leaves a message. This time I answered and a woman who gave her name and mentioned Bank of America and "insurance" asked to speak to my husband. I said he was not available but she could speak with me, and she said his name was on her screen and she could only speak with him, when could she call back? I said he would not want to speak with her, so she apologized for bothering me and hung up.
According to my callwave caller Id this is a company called J2Global
Said they got my number from some charitable org. I had previously given to..I hung up at that point
this number calls us at least once a day. we see who it is on caller id but don't pick up.

Call is from Share Group. Telemarketers for social issue groups. See sharegroup.com for contact information. Offices in Washington, D.C. and Massachusetts. Operator said she would "try" to remove my name/number as per my request. Apologized for rude caller's hangup.
received call 02/05/07 asked for my wife she was not home I asked who was calling no one would talk. This has to be a person selling something. Thank you Brad Gwynn

They've been calling me three to six times per evening for the past few days. They're starting to give me the red a$$!

Called. Left no message. This was the third time in the last three days.
Called asking for husband who has previosuly suported an organization-WHYY-Philadelphia's public TV station.
Nobody there when I answered, kept line open for well over a minute before they disconnected me.
Caller ID said unknown name; caller asked for my husband by name; I asked "who's calling?" Caller asked for me; I asked again, "who's calling?" Caller said, "no message!" and hung up fast. Dialed number on caller ID; got error message 6-3.

Got a call from these guys this morning. I said 'hello' four times and all I heard was two guys in the background having a conversation about a side business. It's like he didn't even hear me and he never answered back. He finally hung up after about 30 seconds of this nonsense.
Asked for David and when asked who was calling said it was from one of his organizations
Called and they said nothing whatsoever when I answered.

They called, said nothing, then hung up. When I called back, a message stated that the number is invalid. What freaking bozos. I hate their guts. I spit on their phone number and curse them. I hope they choke on a piece of limp lettuce.

They refused to give me their mailing address and hung up.
These ass holes keep calling...so i finally picked up. I said "hello?" and then they asked for me by name. I said "who wants to know?"...then they promptly hung up on me. This is ridiculous. I will NEVER donate any money to any group that operates like this. As soon as I find out who these people are, I will black list them.
They call then hang up because they are underpaid callers who sometimes become lazy and hope you never pick up and are probably just as unwilling to talk to you as you are to them. fuck em.
This number called asking for a family member, who was not home at the time. Hung up on me when I asked who was calling.

asked for husband by name...when that happens on this phone its usually for a contribution or advertisement to add some special plan to his credit cards.( add't insurance etc)

how do i get this number to stop calling us!! they call repeatedly during the day & hang up as soon as we answer so we can't ask them to stop calling. i am not able to call them back, get a message saying this number is not available from my calling area.
