got call on caller id from 866-855-2195 "unknown", got fake/contrived sounding voice mail message from a "mr. green" from the "mortgage network" saying i've been "pre-approved" to refinance mortage with rates "as low as 1%". "mr. green" then requested call back to 866-461-5674. this was the 5th voicemail this week. I called the first number and computer voice said "thank you for calling ...goodbye" and hung up. Called second number and voice said , "thanks for inquiry press 1 for representative and 2 to be removed". when i pressed 2 i was forwarded to an error message. when i called back and pressed 1 i got an "operater" with an attitude who said mr green was not in (big suprise!) and said he was calling to refinance mortgage. i asked her to remove me from the list and she asked my phone number and agreed to do so. so lets see if she actually did so. if i ever get a call back from these scammers again I'll take further action and will post again. something tells me that "operater" with the attitude just said that to passify me but did nothing to "remove me" from their list. Who holds these scammers accountable for their harassment?!
when I called the number back, got a computer, and it said "good bye"
Came up "unavailable". No one at the other end when I answered. I am SOOOOO sick of these unknown calls.
When I picked up automated voice said "Sorry about that" and disconnected.
When I picked up it was silent and disconnected, called back and was disconnected.. Who is this?Does anyone know who they are?Stop Calling me!!!
Called it back. Got a machine saying "Hi, this is the Hillman's. We aren't home right now. Please leave a message and we'll give you a call right back." Sounded like a nice old lady...yeah right!
the call was a recording that said basically , Sorry i must have dialed the wrong number
Called it back, all I get is an automated message that says"Goodbye" with an indepth "attitude" for a computer!
When I picked up automated voice said "Sorry about that" and disconnected.
This is the first time I have been called by this one.
