How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Calls me every day around the same time. Never leaves a message (or when they do it's a blank message) and there is never anyone on the other end of the line when i do pick up.
No voice
I've been called several times this week by these people. Each time I answer, there is no one there. I don't get it.
I have Verison and if I get another of these damn calls with no one there they will lose my 65.00 a month.
No message here, and my Verizon Wireless contract expiration date was changed to November or something like that (used to be April). So, if this information has been outsourced, they have an old data file.
Screw 'em if they won't leave a message. I don't know what I want to do when my contract expires... But they can certainly help me make up my mind.

They called my cell today when I was on another phone. I went on 'hold', and, when I answered the cell call, they just hung up. Not the first time. It feels like someone is trying to establish that they called without actually doing any work. Or, more nefariously, perhaps they are calling to determine your whereabouts....
Definitely a FU&the_horse_u_road_in_on attitude about it; not friendly.
And they never leave a message!
I have received three calls from this number this week. I have missed every call (3:30pm, 12:30pm, and 4pm). When I try to return the call, I get a message from Verizon that my "call cannot be completed as dialed." I'm sick of it!

They called at 10:30 Saturday morning on my Verizon landline. We have 2 Verizon Wireless phones on a family plan too and one was recently renewed for 2 years. I let the answering machine pick up but they did not leave a message.
I either get part of a message or they hang up. I just want them to leave me alone!!!!!
Called twice today, both times when I tried to answer, there was no one there. I'm a Verizon Wireless customer whose 2 year contract just matured, so it's consistent with what others have reported.
caller said he was Verizon Wireless, asked for me by name, said "any questions, call 8xx number" and hung up. I wasn't fast enough to write down the 8xx number.

I never answer numbers I don't know. So, when this call came through...I waited for the missed call then called back from my work LAN line. There was no answer and no ringing.

Have had 2 calls from this number that I didn't answer. When I called back got a looping message - "Our call is very important to you blah blah... but no answer. Probably a telemaketer.
Called Sat at 10am. I answered but no one there?
This was on my phone log (missed) and it appears not to have been used before...just says 800 number
