Who Called Us

I was used as a reference on a student loan. Now they call me with an automated voice telling me we have important business. When I call back the voice recording tells you it will be about 20 minutes before someone will take your call. I called, told them to take me off the loan. The next week they called back. I called and spoke to another person asking them to take me off. Also told them if it's a student they are trying to call who has a cell phone, who would want to waste 20 minutes of air time to hold. Went to Wells Fargo website they only have the toll free number to call or you can write snail mail. No online customer service unless you are a Wells Fargo account holder.

Another call from 866-800-8013, "not provided" shows on caller ID. Don't they realize that if that is all the ID says that most people won't answer them. I guess they are just dumb to keep calling me. DNC list just don't work any longer. Get a phone with call blocking and be don't with them

We are also on the DNC lists, and all companys that we deal with do not have permission to "share" are info with others. They have called for 3 days straight, now. I am afraid to call back due to them saying I initiated the call, therefor giving them the right to call me repeatedly for the next 90 days. Thanks for this site. It's nice to know that there are others that are helping by posting.

i just called the 866 # and the ans mach identified itself as Firemans something or other, left as mess with my phone # and told them not to call, now that I HAVE called them per the DNC rules, they have the right to call me. I was going to click on the link for them that someone else found, was just ready to, and thought OMG, then they would have my e-mail add too!!!! so, I scrapped that idea very quick.......

Asked this company many months ago to put me on their do not call list and have had 2 to 3 calls a day for the past week.

"On behalf of Wells Fargo". I told them "no thanks".

I called 800 470 1347, got a live person, and asked to taken off their list. I asked why they were breaking the law by calling me because I was on both no-call lists. They said my mortgage co. gave them my #. That's a lie.

Hung up. Did not leave message

Wells Fargo trying to call insurance. We've already told them that we have no interest, but they continue to call. Reporting to the DNC.

several calls per day, haven't answered....800-800-8013, no message left, rather annoying, calls seem to occur around lunch time, 5~6pm, and then again at 730~830pm.

I am on both no call lists. These hateful people continue to call. I have reported them. Why aren't these idiots fined and made to stop. I have Verizon phone co. and these rat bastards that continue to bother us.

I filed a Form 1088 complaint with the FCC (fcc.gov). I suggest you do the same. The FCC is the agency that can do something about this. Also call AIG to complain. IF they get absolutely slammed with calls complaining, they will do something.

I'm on the DoNotCall list... but I do business with Wells Fargo, so maybe that's their "exception" that lets them call?

Picked up and got a recording saying "National Union Fire Insurance of Pittsburgh calling for telemarketing purposes". These jerks are toast!

called 4 times between 9 and 4pm. no message left

Called the number back. The automated message said that they had a special offer that they would like to discuss. Then it proceeded about being placed on a do not call list of Pennsylvania Fire Services. They have called me 6 times today and its only 5 o'clock. They called on SUNDAY as well about 4 times!! I was so annoyed by them and I did enter my number at the end of the phone call to be placed on this do not call list.

If you dial the number, you receive a message thanking you for calling "Insurance Services" and stating that they recently contacted you to tell you about an offer and that they will contact you again at a later date to give you the details. Then it says if you wish to be added to the "National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania's do not call list", to enter your phone number after the tone.

Called many timed in the past few weeks, 4 times today. They hang up when Voice Mail picks up. I Had enough! I filed a complaint with the do-not-call registry.

Claimed to be Wells Fargo offering a gas cert and million dollar car insurance. Then wanted personal info. I hung up.

I get 3-5 calls a day from them, not sure if it is a live person when answered or not because I usually have something not so nice to say upon answering and immediatly hang up, sometimes it takes less than a minute and up to an hour for them to call back. I am geting sick of this crap and I will be signing up for some nasties and using the email address provided here for that number ( Managementliability@aig.com ) for contact for these nasty sites. Spam and harrass me, two can play at that game!!

It's an autodialed number. When you call back it says that you can leave your number on the no call list for National Union Fire Insurance of Pittsburg, PA. I'm not sure what they are benefitting from these phone calls but I'm sure it's not going to benefit anyone they are calling.

I called the number back this morning after a call at 8:45 PM Central where they actually left a voice msg "Bite US" I had to play it several times because I couldn't believe it. When I called I got an automated "Insurance Services" marketing company.

Rude. Asked for my husband. Right in the middle of me saying that he's not home, caller hangs up without saying another word.

Have called 10 times in the past 3 days. Even called at midnight once! Finally answered the last time and had a lady with a Southern accent talk to me. She would not ID herself or the company she was calling for. When I asked her to stop calling, she asked to speak "to a male relative." Why do I have the feeling this is a scam?

I live in a dorm; dorm room residents can change year to year. The guy wouldn't ID himself or the company anyway, so it seemed very sketchy from the get-go. They keep calling for a Amy and I tell them this is a campus dorm and Amy does not live here anymore. They ask for my name and I politely state that is none of their business and to not call again. From reading the other comments, I'm not sure why they would call a college dorm if they calling about mortgages...we obviously don't have any seeing how we live in a dorm. Credit cards, probably.

Get calls from this number 2-3 a week, i never answer it. Doesnt leave a message. Caller ID just shows the number

this is supposedly wells fargo. I have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong #, and if they insist on calling, not to call before a certain time. We work 3rd shift and sleep 1st. They keep calling anyway. Also, if I call the # back, it just rings. No answer or answering machine. They also need sued.

Recieved the call announced as Wells Fargo Insurance and I stated I'm on the do not call list. Thay said they would place my number on their no-call list but to give 30 days. I said no, don't call anymore starting now and hung up. They called back and hung up on me!

They are calling and harassing an elderly man saying her purchased food from him and owes them $254. Something needs to be done to shut them down!

This number calls at least 4 times a day. It has to be a telemarketer if (from comments below) they can represent HSBC, AIG, National Union Fire Ins...and others all at the same time.

Gpt another call at 510PM. It was the National Fire Union trying to sell protection packages. The office was closed already but I entered my number on their Do Not Call Registry. It will take another 31 days before I get freed from their annoying calls.

Calls several times a week. I don't answer the call anymore since I know that the number belosngs to a telemarketer.

Guy said that his name was Peter Poon from AIG National Union and that he was calling me because I was a valued customer of my mortgage company (name withheld by me)and "we" want to reward you for being a valued customer.

I challenged him. I knew for a fact that he did not have anything to do with my mortgage company and after some effort on my part I found out that this company and others had taken our personal information from public records specifially county records.

Told him that they were fraudulently using my personal information in order to get me to talk to them. Conversation went well on to about 10 minutes before he figured out that I knew what I was talking about.

This is an AIG company, this is how AIG does business, they will harrass hundreds just to make a sale. I will never give AIG a dollar of my hard earned money which they are now effecting by calling me when I could be talking to a customer or getting something done. There needs to be stricter laws governing these systems that automatically dial people with no one to talk to. Stop spamming our phones people.

Called this afternoon & left no message. Call blocker says they are a private entry, so I can't stop any future calls.

Received 3 calls today in a matter of an hour from this company. I did not answer but called them back and it is an insurance company. I put my number on their do not call list. They say it takes 5 days to process and then 30 days to be removed.

It says National Union Fire Insurance Company. Gives you opportunity to place your number on their do not call list, but says it takes up to 30 days to comply with your request!

I have gotten 2-3 calls a day for a week from this supposed Insurance Company.

Constant calling and no answer. I answer the telephone and it drops the call to a busy signal.

It said Unknown, but when you look up the number in Google it says it's from Schaumburg, IL

My Vonage V-Tech phone said "800 Service" as the caller ID, but I haven't answered it. They've called a few times today.

when you answer they hang up. Keeps calling our business numbers...probably autodial.
