How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Getting daily calls from them, and they hang up whenever I answer. This number is relatively new to me for a phone issued by my law firm, and I have given it to no one.
This number calls nearly every day. Never leaves a message. And when I do answer it then it just hangs up because there isn't a person on the line.
Likewise. "Jessica" calls several times daily, each time saying "this is not a sales call, so please don't ignore it." Of course, not knowing the purpose of her call nor the firm's name she's calling on behalf of, I DO ignore it.

this is ACS a collection company of course. i had an old checking account that i didn't close out and the monthly fees put me into the red. they called to collect the balance to close it out.
Same thing - Jessica calls everyday & says this is not a solicitation - I don't pick it up either - Most times half the message is missing. She doesn't give the company name.
called again today, but they're blocked, so at the end of the day, I get a report of all callers. I think it might be Bank of America maybe?

Same here...calls everyday sometimes more than once. I've added selective call blocking to my phone for this idiot!
"Jessica" calls everyday, we see it on our Caller ID, always leaves a number to call her back. We never pick up the phone. Why would we?
