How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Called twice in 2 days, no one home first time, left blank message on answering machine and picked up the 2nd time to nobody there.
Nobody was on the line when I picked up just silence. I don t much appreciate such calls at all!

Rec'd call from number, no response from other end when I picked it up.
i GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY, JANUARY 29, 2007 AND SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST. THERE IS NO RESPONSE WHEN I ANSWER. I USED *69 TO GET THE NUMBER AND CALLED THEM BACK. THE OPTION TO REMOVE MY NUMBER DOES NOT WORK. I TRIED TO SPEAK TO A PERSON BUT HAD NO LUCK. I CALLED MY PHONE COMPANY TO REPORT THIS AND THEY ADDED ME TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST.
My location is Toronto.
My experience is just like Drew (2007 01 14), Carol and Kari's (both on 2007 01 24). However, I also tried '2' to be removed from their list, but I only hear, "Ring, ring, (inaudible) is not accessible at this time. Beep Beep. (disconnect)"
I also called back many times just in case it costs them 10 or 25 cents per call. : )

I dialed the number and got 2 options [#1, #2]. Neither worked.

i got long distance call from them in canada.. there was no response when i picked up..

Telemarketers! I get these all the time, and I'm pretty sure it's against CRTC regulations. I've tried to find a way to follow up and report them but it is outrageously difficult.
Same Issue...Blame the CRTC and the phone companies for allowing and engaging the economy of these 'services". These low-life companies will do what they can.

Calling commercial numbers regarding a telemarketing scam and "free" vacation by attending and participating in their community safety questionaire. Option for auto number removal is not functional.
