Someone called and said they were from HSBC fraud prevention. I called the number she gave me and it was a bit odd as before I got connected I heard dance music. I am also pretty sure that the same woman that called me answered and I am not sure of the chances of that in a call center. Didn't give them any information and asked how I could tell they were really Fraud at HSBC, she gave me another number 18005280692 ext 0270 which I can call to verify that they own the phone number, that number isn't coming up in any searches either. Suspicious. Think I am going into the branch instead
HSBC calling saying they are security. I called they asked for my social security and or card number. I gave neither, they asked for a reference number. I said i don't have one so they said they couldn't help me and just sat on the line.
