February 3, 2009 12:57 PM MST & February 4, 2009 4:31PM MST, and today February 6, 2009 10:22 AM MST all show up on the caller ID as Bank Of America. I answered one of these calls on February 4th and they asked for Michelle Booker who is someone that previously had my number, however, I've had this number since Apr 2007 and it is on the DNC. They said that since Michelle has an account with BofA that they have business with her and therefore the call is not covered by the DNC. The woman I spoke to said that BofA was offering insurance, and tried to solicit me. I told her I was not interested and to please stop calling. She said she would remove my number from their calling list but it would take up to 30 days. I guess there policy is to call twice a day to someone who already advsd they are not interested. What idiots!

Rec'd another call yesterday March 3, 2009 1:38 PM MST from ph# 866-315-7101. After the first 6 times they call, I contacted Bank of America and had them take my number of of Ms Booker's account. Then had them opt me out of special offers on my own account, and I had already told them not to call me again, plus I had already made it clear that I wasn't interested in insurance. So why they called again is beyond me.

What I do know is that since I spoke to them on February 4th and they told me it would take 30 days for my number to be taken off their list, it will be covered under the DNC if they call me after March 6th, 2009. And you'd better believe if they do call after that date I will be reporting it.

I'm one of the people that calls all of you, and I hope you realize that every time you hang up, we get a strong desire to schedule a call back sooner. Try being polite for a freaking change.

They used to call here repeatedly all day long, then they stopped. Now they've started up again. I HATE!!!!!! this crap; With them and the dozens of other slimeballs who call on my phone uninvited and illegally. I'm on 2 do not call lists; why isn't that enough? I see on here that it's probably Bank of America; I've never done business with these people so they have no right to call me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They've been calling every day for weeks. I don't answer Unknown calls, and put myself on a couple of do not call lists but the calls keep coming. I don't do business over the phone so these people, whoever they are, cannot claim they have a prior business relationship with me. What good is the do not call list if they can't stop people like this from calling?

They claim to be calling "on behalf of Bank of America", but even after cancelling all BoF-telemarketing calls, these guys keep bugging us. I finally filed a complaint on donotcall.gov and will do it every time they call again.

Bank of America Insurance Services. They've repeatedly called for the past 3-months, even though we're on EVERY do no call list, including BofA's. They're a pain in the neck. I picked up the call over a month ago and told the caller to STOP calling this number, of they'd be reported to the FCC. At that time, I called the number back, and for the third-time, placed my number on the do not call list that way. Obviously, it doesn't work!

Keep calling my number asking for my husband's third cousin, who has never lived with us and who we do not even know that well. Have told Bank of America multiple times that they have the wrong number and they always say that they will remove our number from their call list. After a few months the calls will start again.

Bank of America. STOP CALLING! I hate these people.

I have a VOIP service and I put all such annoying calls on a list. When any number on that list calls, it is autoforwarded to the 800 subscription dept of whatever organization I am currently displeased with. Works great!! You can also try calling the 800/866 number itself and see what happens.

Have been receiving numerous calls on my cell phone from this number. My rule of thumb is that I don't answer unless the number is in my phone book or I recognize the number. Otherwise, I don't pick up. At any rate, every time these telemarketers call our cell phones, they consume minutes from our calling plans. Other than reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry, does anyone know of any other means of blocking them from calling cell phones? Thanks for your advice.

They are calling on my work line. I do not know how they received this number. It is quite annoying and i want it to stop!

A relaxing Saturday off...it is now 3:30pm and this number has called me no less than 6 times since 9am. If I ever find a direct number back to these guys I'm going to call THEM all day, hang up, and see how they like it.

This number calls about every 20 minutes everyday.

I'm the last person BofA should want to call. I cancelled ALL my accounts with them and told them it was because they were giving unsecured credit cards to illegal aliens.... I think I'll call them this morning and harass them for a while :-)

A man called asking for my grown son. I told him he wasn't here. He asked, "when would be a good time to contact him or is there another number". I told him no, that my son did not live here.

It is totally absurd. The calls start around 8:15AM, continue throughout the day and the last one I received this evening was at 8:37PM. The number always comes up on my caller ID as NOT PROVIDED and I do not answer calls of this nature. This has been going on for months. I think we should all block the number, maybe they will finally get the message. If not, I think it is time to change banking institutions, their services are not like they were years ago and their fees just keep going up i.e, ATM fees, wire transfers, in VA you can't cash or deposit third party checks into your accounts etc. BOA then has the audacity to hound us day and night with our phones ringing off the hooks, while they charge exorbitant fees and the personal services of years gone by will soon be non existent.

They call SEVERAL times a day. I thought BofA was good until now. I am on the DO NOT CALL list, but it does not seem to matter. They never leave a message.

Received call from 866-484-8292 7:35 PM PDT Name: unavailable. Was greeted as new BofA customer. Asked caller what she was doing in 198? (1st yr w/BofA). Answer, not born. Asked company. Answer TRG Insurance. Called BofA. Never heard of them. Informed them of 71 calls reported on whocalled.us .

called twice in a 3 hours period. did not answer and they left no message. It has become a problem since they have called many times before and I have repeatedly told them I was not interested in buying anything.

I am amazed that this is Bank of America. They closed my credit cards for nonuse and now they are calling me about insurance services? I have no accounts with them.

I have told them to stop calling. They have totally ignored my request. And they call all hours during the day and early evening. I did ask them when I CAN CALL THEM AT HOME DURING THEIR DINNER HOUR.

They are calling for our son who has not lived with us for 10 years. They called multiple times

They called, I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. Thanks to "Who called us" I know not to ever answer their call. Don't know why they call me since I'm on the Do Not Call list.... All the more reason not to do business with B of A since they don't respect the Do Not Call list.

Asked for me my wrong name; sounded like mine but not the correct name.

They call EVERYDAY, 3 times a day,...Now I don't answer the phone when I see this number.

I get 6-10 phone calls every day, no body talks to me, I stayed on the phone 10 minutes today, the only thing I heard was some clicks. this is starting to drive me up a wall. I am going to my bank tommorow and tell them about this. I hope they can do something.

I got the call tonight 10 minutes after the Dish Network call >:( I can now tell from the slight pause after I say hello that it is an autodialed call from a telemarker and I hung up! Next time I will stay on the line and get more info for ammunitation. We have been on the DNC list since the day it came out (and I refiled a few months later just to make sure) and up to now things have been relatively quiet. Guess that was too good to last.

3 sometines 4 Calls a day 7 days a week. This has gone past telemarketing. It's now harrassment.

In the last 2 days, BOA has called 11 times and the day's not over yet. I finally registered with donotcall.gov today and went online to fill out their privacy preferences form, but it takes 12 weeks I have had an account with them for over 20 years and have never had problems like this before. My daughter also has an account with them. They called again a while ago and they asked for her. Said she wasn't home and the girl wanted to know if there was a better time to call her. Told her "NO, DO NOT CALL HER!"

Average of 4 calls a day. They never leave a message. The calling is driving me nuts!

ugh...i just started getting calls from this number. the machine picked up, but i got no response when i answered over the machine.

The calls start at about 9 a.m. everday up until about 8:30 p.m. everyday. I never answer because it's the same number calling daily.

I am on the do not call list. They wanted to sell me services, i told HIM i needed a blow job and we could work something out here. He got very very angry... I WIN !!!

I never pick up when they call, but my husband answered it today and they asked for me. He said that I was not home and to remove our name from the list. The caller arogantly said, "You're not on our list, your wife is" and hung up on my husband. Needless to say, next time they call they will not like the response they get from me! I never knew who it was until I found this site. I have never had problem with BofA in the past, and I am a long time member, but if this continues, I will change who I do my banking with! This is just rediculous!!

Go to the Bank of America Website, scroll to the bottom, click Privacy & Security; then go to Privacy Policies & Preferences, and
Set Your Privacy Preferences. Fill out the form with name, address, etc then submit.

Set your privacy options, may take many weeks for Bank of America to process. It's easier to go to your local branch and fill out a form, this is more convinient if you do not want to go to your branch.

Unbelievable. I am usually satisfied with BofA, but these people have called me no less than 12 times (no exaggeration) in the past three days on my cell phone. They will not stop, I asked to be removed, was told "it takes a month or so to process." When they call and I don't pick up, they call two hours later. Then call again at night. Then again that same night. Once in high school I worked as a telemarketer for a summer. If you are a BofA customer, stop in at your local branch to complain.

They call several times a day.

No one was there, then the line hung up. I get at least ten of these calls a day. Unfortunately, I use vonage and they won't help me stop the calls.

I regestered my number the same day it was activated and somehow they still got the number. I didn't want to have an unlisted number, but at this rate, I will have it changed and unlisted. 6-10 calls a day from this 866-484-8292 number. Just a bit excessive, I would say...

BOFA sucks ass and they can kiss MINE all the way to the bank. DONT BANK WITH THEM they will rob you blind.

This number is from Bank of America Insurance Services, I called normaly customer service and told if this did not stop all my account would be closed. The person from customer service talked a supervisor and came back to say that a form needs to filled out. And it can take 6 weeks to take effect.
