How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

If you have a touch tone phone hold down the pound key for a few seconds.
Sometimes this resets

This is probably a scam company using Sprint as a front , wanting SS# etc.
Don't be that weak .....
Calling "on behalf of Sprint" with a fairly obvious South India accent. Would not disclose the name of the company they were calling from, only that they were calling about Sprint services. Requested firmly that I be placed on the Do Not Call list *for the third time* regarding these Sprint calls.
I did not answer. With the help of this great service, I have learned to sense when bogus calls are coming in.
called totell me i won a free sprint phone asked for my social security number called number back said it was the right aid pharmacy do not fall for this scam
they called again today may 9 after I went through a lengthy time yesterday to have my number removed from their calling list.. unbelievable.. says before they are in Orlando somewhere
I called him back.. won't tell me what he wants.. says he's wants to camera phone.....says he's in Orlando..and on a sprint phone right now. We are authorized dealers with sprint..but I can't provide you with my company's name (mmmm??).. politely said I will take you off the call list..
called me at 7:50pm on Tuesday 5-8.. hung up didn't leave a voice mail as I was on another line
These jackasses called TWICE today, a Saturday. The second time at nearly NINE THIRTY P.M. They never leave a coherent message on the answering machine.

Foreign-accented woman's voice said HELLO during my outgoing VoiceMail message. She held on the line for about 20 seconds, and then hung up with no further speaking. I absolutely HATE these garbage calls.
Call was from Sprint Cellular. Uses the "you have been selected fo a free cell phone with purchase of service" offer. Was told that they would remove my number when I asked.
