Who Called Us

Thank you for the information regarding who is calling! Calls have beginning at our home at 8:00AM and continue to at least 9:00 PM. No one on the line when I answer, no message left if I don't answer. I just called the number you gave for the American Cancer Research Institute and told them to take my number off their call list and they politely agreed to do so. We will see. Again, thanks for the information.

Dial back the number and listen to the automated recording from The American Cancer Research Institute, then press 1 and listen further, next press 3 to remove your number from their list and then enter the telephone number you wish to remove, it will play back the number and if it is correct, press 1 - it will take up to 30 days to remove your number from their list. Doesn't take long at all to do this. When you signed up for the National Do Not Call Registry, your number gets removed from most telemarketers database except for these types charities, political organizations and telephone surveys :)

Has called once a day for the past three week (Saturday, Sunday, excluded) Never a message.

They call every day and don't leave a message. I've already said "no thanks" to a "Cancer Research" caller ID. This ID simply says "Toll Free Call." It sounds like a boiler room that keeps the vast majority of what they collect and gives only a small contribution to Cancer Research.

Get calls from this number all the time.... and they always hang up on me....

I periodically receive a call from this number. Called again today 8/21/06. It says "800 Service" on the caller ID. I don't answer calls from unidentified individuals, so I don't know what there pitch is.

report them to tghe feds, I did. search for "do not call list" they click on file a complaint

I get many calls per week for months now - but my ID box has # reject so the phone rings once and the no one listening gets the "calls from this number are not accepted" message.

These jerks pretended to be from some American Cancer Research Institute and wanted me to gather other numbers from my neighbors for them to donate money. SCAM! SCAM!

866 435 7544 stop calling
this has happened to often.

I dialed 866-435-7544 and it's answered as "American Institute for Cancer Research". They do ask if you wish to be removed from the list and then tell you it will take 30 days!!

They call every day, several times a day, when I answer no one is there, I am so ILL with these people, They started calling today at 8:54am. I hate them

I've been on the do not call list from day one-I get calls from these people several times in each week all times of the day-no messages left no one speaks if you pickup

The no 866-435-7544 calls numerous times a day. No message and no name available....merely says out of area. This has been going on for weeks.

I hit call return and it is American Cancer Research. They have the usual option to remove your number from their list but then say it may take up 30 days to do it

I also get these daily, usually once or twice a day. They don't leave a message, so I don't answer.

They call everyday and all it says is tollfree number. Never leaves a message.

We receive a call almost daily. We are on the state and federal do not call list. Must be a computer generated call because many times we answer there is no one there for a while so we hang up immediately knowing it is a telemarketer.

Yup, this is call number 12. Today 8/5 at 12:18 PM. I have a terse little message on my machine that advises these morons of our DNC status. Apparently they don't get it. Losers!

So it's not just me getting them. Thought it might be bill collectors.

Being I am on the no call list, I don't want calls from people I hne no interest in. I pay for the phone so have the decency to not call me as I do not want to hear from you.

Just received a hang up call from 866-435-7544 today, 2006-08-03At least once a day I get a hang up call from Unavailable, Toll Free Number, or just an unfamiliar number. If they do not hang up, I tell them I am on a list to not be called on my home phone or cell phone.

There was no one there when I answered.

Ahh...same call, different day. These losers don't get it. I'm on a state & national DNC and they STILL call, hang up when they get my terse little answering-machine greeting. Many, many calls from these jerks. Several times a day, several times a week. I just laff when I see their calls come thru to my AM. My advice to them: Get a life.

I do not appreciate phone calls from solicitors! I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST for a reason!
