How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

i receive the same call from that number 866-428-1656 what the they want ?
These people don't seem to get the message
They've called here at least 50 times....(Me not answering)

I have caller id, and never pick up the phone. But they call a few times a week. Annoying....

Caller had an Indian accent. Sounds like she was calling from a call centre in India! She was calling on behalf of MBNA Canada offering one of their MasterCards.
MBNA Canada wants to give me a platinum MasterCard??
Told them they got the wrong guy and number.

I have been recieving calls atleast 3 times per week, most times when I am not home...but when I have answered, I tell them that I am not interested, but they are still calling!!!
I received a call from that number and I waited a long time on the phone to be sure it was not important but nobody answered me. I tried to call back to the same number and no answer... only a message from 24/7. I found this forum and I'm surprised... What is going on?
Called back number, the service is called "24/7" and recorded message says you can leave name and number and detailed message to have name removed. I never leave my number on things like that, and call display block when I call.
This number also repeatedly calls me, but I now have shaw digital phone and can try to use "Selective Call Blocking" to ban them from calling. we'll see...
I have repeatedly, ie, 2 or 3 times a day, called by this number, for about two months. I am sick and tired of this and am prepared to do whatever it takes to end it. Anyone with a similar problem, feel free to email me, swpayne1@rogers.com, and let's see what we can do collectively to get some revenge on these idiots. I am quite happy to find out the home and cell phone numbers of the CEO of this organization, if we can identify it, so he can taste some of his own medicine from as many of you would like to participate.
No response on the phone when I answered, but when I hit # a few times, I heard them hang up?
I called the number back using the call block feature and there was a recording saying ...
You called 24/7 Service serving the private sector and will remove your number from the list..etc...
This number started calling me a few days ago. It calls me on my cell daily at all different times (sometimes while I'm at the office during the day, or in the late evening). I've not yet gotten to the phone in time to answer, and they never leave a message. I googled the number, and found a forum of people complaining that this number is a call centre called 24/7 on behalf of MBNA to sell insurance and that the calls are multiple times daily. Most people say that they have asked repeatedly to be removed from the call list, but are still receiving the calls.
