How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Regular caller I just don't answer call w/o a name on my caller ID.
We have repeatedly received calls from Wells Fargo. If you block the call they call every 15 minutes all day - no lie! They want to speak with my husband who is NEVER here when they call during business hours. I tried to file a complaint but since our mortgage is with Wells Fargo there is a prior relationship and nothing can be done. My husband was finally able to answer the call and told them to remove our name from their list and stop calling us. We received a call today...here we go again. This is harassment!

For the last several months, we have received calls from this number at least once a day (sometimes more) typically asking for my wife. They have a "special offer from Wells Fargo." I have repeatedly told them we do not accept telephone solicitations from anyone and asked them to stop...yet the calls continued. Today, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He was disingenuously apologetic and promised to ensure we are removed from the call list, "within thirty days." We'll see, as the call center reps have told me this before.
Have called several times. It is Wells Fargo selling mortgage insurance. I have blocked them on my voip phone! Nice feature!
Called at 8:45 pm...Hung up when I answered. Our mortgage is with Wells Fargo - but was paid ontime earlier in the month, so I have no idea why they would be calling.
