How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I have been receiving a rash of calls from this number lately; in excess of a dozen in the past three days! When I Google the number I can see that it must be coming from some type of marketing company. The thing that scares me is that the people posting note that the caller already has their credit card information.
I have always been very careful with online purchases and watch my accounts diligently. Now I will be checking 2-3 times a day to be sure nothing fishy is going on.
It all began at the end of November with one 888 number. Almost to the day I was able to stop the first number from calling me a second 888 number started. Now the calls have changed from an 888 prefix to an 866 prefix. It seems that when you tell one marketing company to take you off their list they turn around and sell your number to another company who hasn't been instructed to do the same.
I sure wish PayPal would bring back the "one use" credit cards that used to be available for their account holders. It was a wonderful extra piece of security!
they call every single day over and over and don't ever leave a message it is so annoying
Received 17 calls from this number in the past week even though I am registered with the National Do Not Call system.
Today they direct you to call another 866 number. I emailed Quality Resources to tell them to leave me alone. Obviously they don't intend to.
I started receiving these calls daily, early and late, a few days ago. Today, when they called, I actually got a person online and told them to quit calling this number. She said it would take a few days to take my number off their list. I believe this is from a site that I purchased from online, but not sure it is a safe site as it was a product from "As seen on TV".
I called the number with call block on and was greeted with an automated message directing me to call a 900 number at a rate of $1.99 per minute.
Calls my cell every hour, no message.
They claim to be associated with Flexseal. They wanted me to try something for $1, and they'd give me $100 worth of gas vouchers.
TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!
No thanks.
I talked to them at 4:14 p.m. They had called twice before.
Resident rant.
They just won't quit calling.
After i ordered the Total Pillow (As Seen On TV) I started receving minimum 5 calls per day. they wanted to give me a $100 gas card as a "thank you" and a savings group that will AUTOMATICALLY BILL for $30 per month. I asked them NOT to send the gas card or the group information three times in that one phone call. They said "ok, thank you." We'll see what happens...
Called my phone and hung up on me when I said it was not Carol (my elderly mother who is on oxygen for severe COPD, is a kidney transplant patient, and has a heart condition), so I called them back and asked what it was regarding, they hung up again.. Called 3 times before I said stop hanging up on me, you want to talk to my mother I will get her. Then told them I take care of her and again asked why they wanted her..they said it was a courtesy call but when my mother told them she wanted to cancel and was not interested 7 times, they told her they needed her card number to credit the amount back. This is when I stepped in. First words to me were please read the card number from left to right. I asked why he needed the card and he said they were going to send my mother 100.00 in gas and some coupons and required the card number. I told him the call was being recorded, asking confirmation that they needed her card to cancel an order in which I heard my mother tell him 7 times and asked if that was not adequate enough for a clear answer. He said ok, we won't send her the coupon and 100 in gas, have a good day and hung up..What a scam!! I am upset, so is my mother..he tried to get her card number thinking that was the only way she was going to cancel it, when he was scamming her to buy 350 coupon book I am guessing.

THIS WAS ORDER CONFIRMATION FOR FLEX-SEAL
Someone called me from this number once every hour for THREE consecutive hours on Friday night and said nothing after I addressed the caller TWICE before I hung up. The next hour I called the number back and received a prerecorded female message "Goodbye".
'
Calls three times a day. Called number back and received a message about an exciting financial opportunity. They seem to be pimped-out telemarketers - collections "do anything for a buck" phone roaches.
I have been getting 3-5 calls EACH day to my cell phone from 866-379-2003. I called it from another phone and there was a recorded message saying you could opt out by pressing 2 and so on. I finally decided to call from my cell and was shocked when the voice that answered did not say hello but called my by name in a questioning tone. Stunned I hung up. I finally called again and never verify who I was but here is the deal.. They were calling to tell me an item I bought off TV had been shipped. Then they tried to verify my address. I said if you shipped me something you have my address. I was told that in my shipment was a free $100.00 gas card and some sort of coupons or something that if I keep after 30 days they will charge my credit card 24.95/month but I could keep the gas card. I went off at that point explaining what I would do if my card gets charged anything! All these freebies on a purchase of 33.30. Horse Dung! The item I WAS buying was BuyMaxTall.com I plan to refuse the delivery. Hope this helps somebody else out there.
They just keep calling several times a day. Only rings a couple of times, and no one is there if you answer. Very tiring.
Barb: Not an easy question in the absence of a positive ID. You can, under TCPA and FDCPA respectively, revoke call permission from a sales caller or debt collector with a simple cease-comm letter, sent USPS Certified. If you have a ''prior relationship'' you can still halt the calls under the TSR.
Here are some links about all the alphabet soup laws:
Telephone Consumer Protection Act
the-dma.org
Telemarketing Sales Rule
business.ftc.gov
Various laws in brief from the FCC
fcc.gov
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (just turned 34 a week ago)
ftc.gov
very annoying. How can it be stopped?
I get multiple calls from this number each day, yet I never pick up. They never leave a msg.
i kept missing calls from this number, and when i called it back, an automated message prompted me to call another number. once i reached a represenative, it was to confirm an online order i had recently submitted. the call i received was from "slushie magic"
I get this call once a week from this number. No one can do anyting about it. Lets find out where who and they are and bash some heads. Problem solved.
Telemarketing Service

I reported them to the FTC and the National Do NOt Call Registry. Yea, I am sure that will stop them. They should make autodialers illegal.
I finally got sick of them calling and hit redial it was from my order for a sobakawa pillow they wanted to sell me some weird gas vouchers.. they were RUDE when I finally got them on the phone.
2 Calls today no one on the line
Been getting 3 or 4 calls a day right up to 9:00pm.
I'm a night owl and sleep during the morning and early afternoon. In the last 3 days i have received countless calls from 866-379-2003. I've been ignoring them. No message is ever left in my voicemail. My number is even registered with the Governments Do Not Call Registry. Been on it for a good 2 years or longer now. I find it disturbing that after purchasing a product online this type of harassment ensues by third party shared companies who practice such through the online ordering system. I truly feel that our US GOV needs to step up and create stricter laws for those who practice Third party sharing. Don't give them warning, just pass the law and get the buggers jailed, fined, etc.
Get 3 or 4 calls a day-no message
HOW IS THIS
Ordered the Yoshi Blade ceramic knife. A week later I received a call a few minutes to 9:00PM. They want to verify my order with Yoshi Blade and ask for my credit card number. I said, you called me, you tell me my credit card number. The person then tells me they are a sales team that is part of Yoshi Blade and that they cannot sign me up for some discount buying service, all they have are the last 4 numbers of my credit card. Could not belive it. Apparently, when you purchase the Yoshi Blade on line, they must sell your name and phone number to these clowns who then pretend they are part of the company you had purchased from originally. Complete scam. Sending back those Yoshi Blades and I have reported this to the FTC. Don't give these folks the time of day. If you pick up the phone when they call, just hang up on them.
Be very cautious, this is a scam. I ordered from Gardeners choice, (aka) Blue Berry Giant (aka) Giant Tomato (aka) Mega Blue Berry. This is all a scam. They over charged my credit card and then sold my information to these dirt bags who are offering a free gift card but they will too charge your credit card if you just confirm your info on the phone. Luckily I have fraud protection and was able to recoup my money but my time is lost! I have blocked their number and I am filing many complaints as possible!
unknown, did not answer, no message - TWICE TODAY!
Hydroxotone, 4 call in two days, Verizon cant control it or give you the business it belongs to
2 unwanted call with in 1 hour the phone numer is a verizon business number verizon numer to file a complaint is 1-800-265-2316
These people put me on the list:
buythepillow.com
Trust me, these comments below are accurate. I bought the "WaterJet" through a TV ad. I will NEVER again buy anything through a TV ad. I got the product and it was fine but this company called and it was non-stop sales pitch about free gas cards, and then a dollar charged to my credit card for various buyer club offers, a WalMart card, and id security protection. Once I get the package it is up to ME to call 800 numbers to cancel them and avoid future charges. Why are they not put out of business???????
Just received calls today, called them back to see who it was. They knew immediately that it was me, without my saying a word. These woman talk like mindless drones, pronouncing every syllable as a seperate word.
I hung up after I asked if I was being charged for something and she said yes, and they called back twice. I'm sure I'll continue to hear from them now...
Same as all the rest... calling relentlessly for weeks. Want me sign up for some payments and give me gift cards. Knew my name, knew my credit card, called me on my brand new unlisted phone number. Here's the twist... only Bank of America knew all of this information. It turns out that when Bank of America takes over an account from another bank, they change all privacy settings to a full "opt-in" and they sell it like heck.
Welcome to government owned banks.
This 866-379-2003 service has been calling relentlessly for the past month. The calls begin at 8:00AM (including weekends) and the latest call received was 9:25PM. It is noon on Monday and I've already received 3 calls today. They don't leave a message if I let voicemail pick it up. They don't speak when I answer the phone. I was only able to speak to someone one time and I asked her very nicely to please remove me from their list and stop calling. I am not interested. This is harrassment.
Whatever the number is unknow to me just don't answered it, if know of I will answered it as I have names memory of caller, if no name it's unwanted call just silence it and go on as normal business that it save me my time and trouble with crazy unknow caller, thank to ID caller system .
I answered, they told me i had free gas cards, and a whole bunch of other crap. I told them I wasn't interested and hung up. they have continuously called me at least once a day for 2 months.
These people called me at least 8 times in the past week AFTER I told the speed talking woman that I wasn't interested in the gas voucher offer.
I am so glad I remembered this site! I took the information I found here and used it to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commision. I checked my phone records, and these morons have been calling me twice a day for 9 weeks!. I told them the first time they called not to call again, and I simply don't answer when they call now because scammers have a way of recording your voice and making it look like you agreed to something you didn't. The post by "Mad Consumer" was very helpful. I used it to turn the tables on these morons. I plan to give them a run for their money now. I Googled them, and even ran a google map so I know who their neighbors are. Maybe if they think I might walk into their office at any minute, they will think twice about dialing my number again!! If you would like to file a complaint with the FTC, their site is: ftc.gov
If you want to give them a little taste of their own medicine, act like you are interested in what the are trying to push on you. Then tell them you are at work, and ask them to call your "cell", then give them this number (973) 474-9051 Call it yourself to hear what they will be blasted with.. It's hilarious!! I plan on keeping this number handy and giving it as my home number everytime I buy anything online or from TV, to keep this type of idiots from botherinmg me anymore. It's time for the shoe to be on the other foot!!
haven't answered the calls, but since there isn't a message it must be important or smart enough not to "harass." Anyone found the way to have them stop calling? What else in new in the world?
Just a little info for all of you receiving calls from callers you don't know. Before you answer it, look it up on the internet so you don't have to deal with this problem. These people know that as long as they allow either there phone number or name to be displayed on called ID you can not block them. The next best thing is to check the numbers on the net before you answer them. Another way to start getting rid of these people. They are under the FCC regulations, that little tax you pay on your phone bill every month. Get some use out of it. The more people complain about people like, this the FCC will get tired of them. The squeak wheel gets the oil, make the Federal government work for those taxes we pay. Stop these people from invading our homes and harassing us over the phone.
You will need to go on the FCC web page. Keep a pen and paper by your phone, start logging down every time they call you. If you answer, and if you tell them to put them on the do not call list. The FCC will ask you all these questions. Try this.
From what I can tell on the other sites about this phone # these people do not give up or take you off your list. I would also call your credit card companies and ask them to require a phone ID when using your credit card so your cards can't be used over the phone by these people. Ask them how they can help.
I get 2 to 4 calls a day from this #. On a couple of occasions I answered hoping for an "opt out" option but no one comes on the line and there is no recording.
I trace these harassing phone calls to a television advertisement I answered on 18 February 2009 for The Slim Clip money clip. slimclip.com I didn’t know about their web site at the time. I placed my Slim Clip order by calling, from my landline phone line, the number from the television commercial. I had never ordered a product by calling one of these numbers and it was a frustrating experience. I was unable to speak with a real person at any time and their voice menu system kept trying to get me to buy more items before they’d complete my order. When their voice menu system finally said that they had placed the order it did not confirm how many items would be shipped or what the total cost would be. It did however, give me their Customer Service number, 866-305-1361, which I promptly called to clarify what I had ordered and what the total cost would be but I was unable to reach anyone.
I received my Slim Clip order on 3 March 2009 for double the amount of what I had ordered. I called Slim Clip Customer Service at 866-305-1351 to tell them how displeased I was with their service. They said all they could do was credit $10 back to my credit card which they did as “ONT*SLIM CLIP” on 5 March 2009. They said I could send back the product I didn’t order but that I’d still have to pay the exorbitant shipping and handling charges on each item. I told them that I thought they had ripped my off, that their voice menu system was misleading, and I was thinking of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I had called from my cell phone and did not put the *67 to block Caller ID delivery in front of the number. Later I found out from my cell phone company that your caller ID information is always delivered along with the call and it’s up to the call recipient’s Caller ID box to strip your caller ID information from the call. If the call recipient has modified their Caller ID box they can have it ignore the *67 Caller ID block.
On 9 March 2009 I started getting several calls from 866-379-2003. I was curious about these calls I had missed so I dialed *67-866-379-2003 to block my Caller ID information in my return call to the number. A woman answered, thanked me for returning the call and went into a sales pitch which included some free gasoline coupons. I didn’t give her any information and thought the *67 had blocked my caller ID information. When she asked if I still resided at my Columbia, Maryland address I hung up. Almost immediately after hanging up I received a call from 866-379-2003 which I did not answer. I continued to be harassed by calls from 866-379-2003 at 4:35PM, 5:59 PM, 7:53 PM, and the next day (10 March 2009) at 1:26 PM, and 4:44 PM. I called my cell phone service provider about these harassing phone calls. At 4:54 PM they blocked 866-379-2003 from calling my cell phone for 90 days. The block is free of charge and you can reinstate the block if you continue to be harassed after the block expires.
Although the call block has stopped 866-379-2003 from calling me I started receiving calls on 13 March 2009 from 954-671-6946 at 12:15 PM and from 909-650-9173 at 12:15 PM. At 2:26 PM, without checking the Caller ID on my cell phone I inadvertently answered a call from 954-671-6946. A female caller asked for someone with a name similar to my first name. I answered that there was no one here by that name and hung up. Then I realized the name the caller had asked for was the same as an incorrect spelling of my first name that had come on the shipping invoice from Slim Clip.
I received another call from 909-650-9173 at 10:29 AM on 14 March 2009. I called my cell phone service provider and got both 909-650-9173 and 954-671-6946 added to my block numbers list for 90 days.
I attribute these harassing calls to Slim Clip. Here’s what information I have on the Slim Clip Company.

Quality Resources is a telemarketing company based in Florida. These annoyingly persistent phone calls are the product of an auto-dialer program. The reason they call so many times is because the numbers are thrown into an auto-dialer and if the person does not pick up, the number is thrown back into the system to be dialed again.
I called Quality Resources Customer Service (866-434-6600) and told the guy that answered my situation... I explained to the guy that answered that I was called multiple times today by his company and that was harassed by the telemarketer that I spoke with. I told them they rattled off information about gas vouchers, etc so fast that I don't even know what happened. I told him I was concerned that I was going to get charged for something that I adamantly told the lady in Sales I wasn't interest in.
He asked if I gave my birthdate or implied in any way that I wanted the package and I assured him that no, I had to actually cut the lady off to tell her that I wasn't interested and that she got an attitude and huffed "Fine well we just won't send you anything!" I was assured that because I hadn't given my birthdate and that I was verbally adamant about not signing up, I would not be charged. He also told me that each call is recorded and listened to by multiple departments. If you speak with someone in sales and you cuss them out and tell them you don't want anything from them and they STILL send your call through, someone in the quality department will listen to it and recognize it as a bad sale and throw it out.
I told him that I had to Google the number that called me and that there were tons of forums about the harassment of these calls and there's nothing but aggravation and reports to the Better Business Bureaus. I told him I didn't mean to shoot the messenger but that the telemarketers that work for his business are HORRIBLE and rude.
I was promised that someone would listen to my call tomorrow and make sure that I am not being charged and that I would be added to an internal Do Not Call list and that it would take 72 business hours for that to go into effect. Hopefully this is the end of this.
called asked for husband said it was about a $25 walmart card sounds like a sales call or scam
I'm sure I'm beig called by a comany named Bendaroos. I ordered from them on my granddaughters phone, now she is getting solicitations from 866-379-2003
I didn't answer this number but they call all hours as well. They do not leave a message. Is there anyway to stop them from calling me.
I just got a call from some woman who started touting about a free $40 gas card, generally matching the previous entries on this website for this 866 number. She spoke at about a thousand words a minute, obviously a well-practiced speech, leading off with an admission that the call “may” be recorded. I received a fairly-similar telemarketer sales pitch only a few days ago for which website research suggested it was a result of a recent online purchase in which the telemarketer had the last four of my credit card number and wanted to mail me a bunch of information and a $50 gas card at a one or two-dollar initial rate, and I was thinking this was the same scammer. I challenged today’s caller who claimed to know nothing of that offer. Anyway, after enduring this warp-speed pitch for about thirty seconds, I was able to key in on certain phrases she made suggesting that they were going to bill my credit card for one dollar immediately, which would cause me to receive a package of info in the mail, and that if I didn’t cancel this “money saving service”, I would be billed $19.95/month until I did cancel. I broke in and said, specifically, “You keep talking about billing my credit card. I won’t even confirm or deny that you have all or part of my actual credit card number correct, but even if you do, I do not authorize you to make any charges against my card whatsoever and promise that I will dispute any charges you do make”. At that point, she lost interest with impressive speed, blurted out a couple more quasi-intelligible sentences about “my ability to cancel my subscription whenever I wanted to by following the instructions on the cover page of (whatever they wanted to mail me)” or some such tripe, then she hung up. I then started doing some web research on the number she called from, finding this site among others. Other people entering data here claimed that they made repeat calls stop coming by calling the 866 number back and pressing a certain key associated with a prompt to be removed from their call list. I called the number to do this for myself, but a female answered. I said I wanted to be removed from their list, the female confirmed if “this request was coming from ”, which was correct, I said yes, she said she would take care it, apologized for the intrusion and we were done. Only time will tell if it stops the calls, but I’ve only had one (the original) so far. I think its probably in a person’s best interest to specifically and verbally assert that he/she refuses to sign up for anything being offered by this telemarketer, because if they don’t, the telemarketer will bill their credit card and later be able to use the recordings to claim that “the cardholder didn’t tell us that we couldn’t bill his/her card for what we were offering”. In other words, the cardholder (victim) has to specifically opt out, and the telemarketer knows that few will have the patience/tolerance to challenge the charges. As an identity theft paranoid, I check my credit card account/pending charges online at least 5 times/week; here’s something new to keep a watch for. These people are thieves. On my planet, telemarketing is a capital offense… Received this call at my office (ISDN line), for which Caller-ID displays only the caller’s number.
They call me too. I demanded to know the company that sold my information because I buys tons of crap online. The woman assured me that the divulging company was a "partner" and they didn't sell it. Whatever! She read me that last four digits of my debit card which completed pissed me off.
was called this morning at 9:30 m.s.t. and was told that i was receiving 40.00 in FREE gas vouchers.
they were to arrive in 2 weeks....these people said i purchased something in the past that qualified me.
THEY HAD MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER, all 16 digits!! Someone needs to do something about people or companys like this!
I hate this company they are very annoying tell them to quit calling and they still do. Quit calling are I'm going to start recording and complianting to right authorities are if I have to the attroney general and the better business bureau
This company began calling me five days ago. They have called 10 times in 3 days, times ranging from 8am sharp to 8:45pm. I never answered, and they never left a voicemail.
Receive calls every day on my cell phone - I never answer
I am afraid to call them back -
Quality Resources. Offered 40 in free gas for some service that costs 20 bucks a month. What service? She couldn't tell me. If my card gets charged (they have my card number) I am going to be PISSED.
Re: 8663792003
i am a lawyer and have contacted the ontel products group (customer service company for liquid focus group - they are the company who sells iron gym, etc.) and have let them know that should there be any charges authorized by them to my credit card or a continuance of unsolicited calls (which is NOT disclosed in their privacy notice) i will be naming them as defendants in a class action law suit.
that said, i would encourage you ALL to call the better business bureau and document your complaints (its free) ... this way should we need to, we can deal with this in court and finally make these ridiculous phone calls stop
Upon receiving the first call from these jokers, I was informed that they were a non-profit group. I asked for their tax exempt id number for my records, and was hung up on. So, I just had to call back. The second person I spoke to informed me that they were a 'for-profit' group. And of course I couldn't get a tax id number from him, either. Further, the caller wouldn't give me his social security number, nor his drivers license number. I argued that since he had personal information of mine (my phone number), I should have personal information of his. Apparently he didn't think so! As well, I couldn't garner from him what bank he cashed his payroll checks from. So, this went on for about 5 minutes. I did, however get a little bit more information. This outfit is run out of Clearwater Florida. Further, I did manage to obtain an address.

If that bit of information helps anyone, I am happy to toss it out there for ya. They didn't realize what they were in for. Back in my teenage years, I was in that line of work, so I know the ropes. Needless to say, towards the end of the call, he was happy to offer to take my number off of their call list. I almost didn't let him!!
I don't answer when they call but they do not leave a message on my voice mail. I recently made a purchase online using the number they are calling, this is my cell phone number that I rarely give out, so I am sure it is coming from that. I made a purchase for Total Cleanse and Acai Berry which also provided my number to Fit Factory and Price Limbo. I am sure it is one of them or someone else they gave my number to. I tried to call them back from my house phone and I got the recording. I pressed two to be placed on their internal Do Not Call List but it did not ask me for the phone number I wanted removed. So I decided to call back on my cell phone, which is the number they called of mine. I did not get the recording this time, someone answered. I hung up since I was hoping to get the recording. I immediately called back....again, hoping to get the recording. This time, someone immediately answered the phone and said...."Elizabeth".....I hung up again. Matbe I should not have but I did not ask these people to call me and I don't have any use in talking to them. That was weird though!!
This company, calling themselves Vista Card Services, calls my cell phone at least once a day, usually 2-4 times, also starting early in the morning until just 8:30 pm. They know my credit card number; I signed up for an Acai Berry trial recently, and I believe this might be how they got my information. Sometimes I also get calls from the same company, but the number doesn't show up on caller ID. I've answered twice...
- Both times it sounded like a party going on in the background, and a very unprofessional male rep waited 5 or so seconds to finally speak to me.
- They say that they are from Vista Card Services and are calling in regards to Visa Card number.. and they give the last 4 digits of my Visa Card.
- They offer a gas rebate deal or other credit card related service.
- Both times I said I wasn't interested and not to call again.
- Both times they say exactly this: "You have to listen to the entire message, Sweetheart, to get the calls to stop."
- When I say that I'm not going to waste cell minutes on something I don't want and repeat to stop calling, they repeat exactly the sentence above, about listening to the entire message.
They are offering a "free" membership ($1.00 for shipping) and 40 bucks worth of gas.
then they charge 19.95/month for "membership" if you dont cancel within 30 days
Calling them back seems to be enough to trip off the charges to your CC......
It is Quality Resources a telemarketing company, I am even on the NO call list and still got called by this company. You have to physically call them and remove yourself. It is painless and takes about 10 seconds. I just did it.
have numerous calls from this number3-5 per day
unknown
did not answer
i hate these guys...couldn't understand anything what they said...
this woman has called 5 times in two days. She asked for my boyfriend.. she said she was from Quality something - maybe resources- but no explanation. She would not say what she wanted. We have not ordered anything, but we do have (his) credit cards linked to this phone number. She was really rude and would not elaborate what it was about. It could be something related to detectives??
When they called me and told me they had my credit card information and wanted to offer me $40 in gas coupons and a great deal on other items, I told them I did not want it. They told me that if I did not want the great deals, I could cancel and my credit card would not be charged!!!!! I demanded to know the compnay name and address and looked it up on the Bteer Business Bureau site. This is the report:

This number calls me every day at least 10 or more times. When I pick up I get no one and when I call the number back I get no answer.
I received two calls today, they even have my entire credit card number. I belive they have gotten my information from the Iron Gym people who ether sold it to them or they are one and the same. The company that calls you, goes as Budget Management. I will be checking my credit card statements. I am also going to be calling the Iron Gym people to let them know how I Feel.
I called the number and it went to a recorded message, "we've been trying to contact you to introduce you to our wonderful money savings program" (or something close to that)
I ordered the "debt relief" book advertised on TV by that shyster Kevin Trudeau and immediately started getting these calls.
debtcures.com
I keep asking for them to remove - but of course they don't.
BY THE WAY - THE BOOK IS USELESS. HE BASICALLY TELLS YOU TO NOT PAY YOUR DEBTS AND IGNORE THE CALLS.
FUNNY BECAUSE HIS OPERATION THEN BEGINS CALLING YOU TO SELL YOU SH*T.
Asked the caller to say who they were or what company they represented and they started to get mean with me. I don't know why this is legal.
this is a telemarketer. i just returned the call and there is an immediate remove my number from the call list option.
Keeps calling no message left who is this why are they calling i'm on the DO NOT CALL list so why are they calling
They just gave me a bunch of information in a very fast way, without letting me cut. I was at work and they asked me to confirm my address and day of birth, I did not prompted myself but they did. I should have hung up myself. I received 3 before I answered. Where can be reported this?
Iff you have a friend or family member in Law Enforcement loan them your phone for a few days, they have much better success at ending these type of calls than regular citizens.Plus they become a very credible witness in case you go for the penalty applied to violators of the 'no call"list.
Two more calls from them, when my brother answered from the police dept(I was in his office). they said it was a wrong number, second call 1 minute later no one on the line .
Multiple calls in the last 2 hours same number, still no one on the line when I answer.
no name no message called 4 times today very annoying
They've been calling for two weeks. I finally answered with a woman’s voice and they asked for me by a name we used to ship a package (we alternate shipping names) last month. The call (credit card billing number used and shipping name used) corresponds to an order we put in with THE BENDER BALL – BenderBall.com just over a month ago. Has anyone else purchased a Bender Ball and started receiving tons of calls from this number?
In addition, we found out that after 30 days The Bender Ball company (Savvier) automatically starts shipping you more boxes and automatically bills your credit card - ($26.98 after 33 days) & ($26.98 after 36 days).
We have to ship all the shipments back to the company (even though we haven’t received all the orders yet but have been billed) AT OUR EXPENSE and then wait 6-10 weeks for the charges to be reversed. What a complete scam.
I did all the appropriate research since this wasn’t available through Amazon or Google Checkout and assumed Leslie Bender would be more reputable because of her other products. These are low down marketing tactics that cause me to waste many hours of my time and my money. I typically never do stuff like this but I couldn’t find the ball anywhere else. Chalk it up to being caught by an unscrupulous internet marketer. I should know better – only use Amazon or Google Checkout. Darn I’m pissed !!!!

Called and, against my better judgment, convinced me to give some information (name, address, debit card number). I'm kicking myself over this. Gonna go get my card number changed. They didn't get my social or security code, though. Be smart, don't make the same mistake I did, just hang up the phone.
I recently purchased a SlimClip money holder online and had to give my number to have my credit card processed. A couple dyas later I started to receive junk mail and have had a few calls from this number. They claim to have received it from one of their 'Marketing Partners' but cannot tell me who.....I am pretty sure who by the timing of it.
stop calling me!!!
i have n idea how these people got my cell phone number but they call like crazy. When u call back it's just like jr says, i actually pressed 2 to take my number off the list, so they won't call anymore. So far I haven't heard from them. I am curious to how they get your personal cell phone numbers.
This company began calling me two days ago. They have called 16 times in 3 days, times ranging from 8am sharp to 8:45pm. I never answered, and they never left a voicemail.
i returned the call and got a recording stating:
"we've been trying to contact you by phone to introduce you to our wonderful money saving program"
press '1' to continue to receive these calls
press '2' to be removed from our call list
to speak to a customer service representative call 1(866)434-6600.
I recently changed cell phones and in the process acquired a new number. While my previous number WAS on the DO NOT CALL LIST, the new one was not, so there is not much i can do with these people but hope they quit calling. I pressed '2' at their prompt and will now keep track of my phone bill rather closely. I'll report back if I get charged for calling the number.
To check if your number is registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST go to:
donotcall.gov
I love how our government works... you have to sign up on a list stating you do not want to be harassed by telemarketers. I personally think this list already exists... it's called the phone book. It would make far too much sense if the handfull of confused individuals that DID want to receive harassing phone calls had to put their info on a list instead. Thank God all our laws aren't written in this same backwards format. The don't get shot list. Don't get raped list. Don't get robbed list... you get it. So why is there a don't get harassed over the phone list? Food for thought.
