The Android operating system on my Telus HTC has a function that sends unwanted calls directly to voice mail, I haven't had a call back in weeks....I think. The no talking calls are lazy telemarketers that know your going to hang up and get paid by the call I guess to make their quota. Hope they take as much money as they can off Telus and give them crap and an ugly PR problem, serves them right. They are starting to remind me of the old BCTEL, money grubbing trolls.

This is a marketing group from new Delhi India They said they were a 3rd party company calling on behalf of Telus mobility

but if u ever call customer service u would know their call centers are only in the Philippines. I knew this because
of the constant need to call customer support

They keep calling me they stay on the line and don't say anything. I tried calling them back same thing happens. they pick up and don't say anything. I found out it was telus. So I called their service deparment. Started telling the operater about the number and they hung up on me. I am so tired of this place calling all different times night and day. They wake my son up and my husband all the time. So the next best step is I am going to have a talk with a frined that lives by me that works for telus. :)

Annoying call every day at same time. Never a response when we pick up the phone.

Received a call from Telus Mobility this afternoon. As mentioned by other commenters, they were pushing their cellphone services. I expect these sorts of calls because I'm a Telus customer (Internet & home phone). They're allowed to call me because of our "prior business relationship".

I get cellphone services from another carrier, though, so I always tell them "no thanks". So far, they haven't given me the hard sell, as experienced by Larry (in his comment from April 13, 2008).

Telus Mobility

This is Telus Mobility calling to get me to switch from the cell I am on to their cell plan. Worse plan, won't pay for the switch, but I should do it anyway because they won;t take "No" for an answer.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
