How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I get several calls a day from this number. They never leave a message and when i answer it no one is on the other end. I've tried calling it back but either no answer or told to wait for next avai. operator and after 10-15 minutes even i get bored and hang up.
I am so sick of these people calling! Every single day! They never leave a message and if anything comes up on the Answering machine it's a busy signal! If you want to talk to someone so darn bad.. then stop having a machine do the calling for you! UGH!
They also have another phone number 800-598-9331. I have spoken with another collection agency and told them WHEN I would pay the bill .. they still keep calling me and have turned me over to these people. This is for a bill I owe Verizon. AFNI has an automated dialing system, that will call you several times and report the times you answer. Then the automated dials are sent to an operator to take the call. Weeeeeeeeeee!

I just got a call from this number.
Apparently it's a collection agency, one that collects for Verizon.
Verizon never sent me the final bill cause I moved, so they had sent me to collections, gee fun!
Anywho, the after listening to crappy elevator music blairing at my ears, the person was pretty friendly in helping me figure out what the charge was about.
Several calls over several months. Never say who they are calling for. Message is always a recording
got a call today at 7:44pm est, didnt pick up. they left the following message, "this is AFNI, this is an important phon call. please call us back at 8663070278".
These dilds called and left a message for somebody who doesn't even live here and never did. First the message was a machine talking saying to please hold, then an operator answered, and said "Hello, ________?" and hung up. The person they were asking for was not me and never lived here. I swear the FTC should crack down hard, especially on those companies who don't even know who they are calling.
They called me. Its AFNI upsourcing (afniupsourcing.com). They had no idea why they were calling me.
NO MESSAGE LEFT. 3 CALLS IN SUCCESSION TODAY.
