How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).

Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

GONE ON VACATION THIS WEEK, UPON RETURN THIS NUMBER HAD CALLED MANY TIMES BUT LEFT NO MESSAGE. VERY ANNOYING!
Is there a DECT phone or ANY phone that will allow blocking of UNKNOWN CALLER ? If not, someone needs to invent this device. Verizon wont help.
these morons called 7 times today between 11:30 and 3:15, not once identifying themselves or leaving a message. Good thing my new DECT 6.0 phone lets me block up to 20 phones numbers - all the caller hears is a busy signal. They appear to be pushing the Discover Business Card.
They call and call and call and call. When answer no one is there and they don't leave message on answering machine. Annoying.
2nd time today called by this number- I called it back and got recorded message -from discover card giving their business hours- I received call at 8:56pm just under 9pm cut off I left message on their recorder to please stop calling me and stated I am on Texas and National "DO NOT CALLL LISTS"
Discover card- wish i had never taken a card from them-- they call all the time -have asked them to stop callling and am on Texas and National no call lists- but they think because i have one of their cards it entitles them to certain rights-- wish i had their home phone numbers!
They hung up after the 5th ring. Had I known it was Discover, when they asked for some one, I would have asked them to hold so as to waste as much of their time as possible.
No one on the line when I answered this one but I have been plagued by calls from these jerks using other numbers.
When I called the number back I got a recording saying they were calling for Discover Card with an offer etc etc
I received a call from these guys in the middle of my workday. I tried several times to tell him that I wasn't interested. But, he kept interrupting and I simply hung-up on him. I called Discover Card (1-800-347-2683) and told them that I am on the Do Not Call list and have been on it longer than 31 days, so their database should have been updated by now. I told the very kind operator what happened and that I never want to hear from them again. She added my number to their list and apologized.
If you call the 800 number I gave and you don't have a Discover account, in order to reach an operator, you'll need to press 0000 when they ask for the last four digits of your account number and of your SSN. I did it three times and reached an operator.
Another Telemarketer who barely spoke english
Caller ID just showed the phone number. Had no company name or any other notation besides the number itself.
I never answer when the number starts with 8xx.
They call everyday at differnt times. it's getting to be a pain
800 Notes states it is Discover Card. We have answered and requested to be removed from the call list by another number and now they are using this one.

Am on the do not call list and got a call from Discover Card trying to market a business card. Asked why they called a number listed as do not call and they said that it's not enforced anyway.
I have received many calls from this number. By habit, I screen most calls and don't bother to answer unless I recognize the caller. If the call is important they'll leave a message. When I get really fed up with the brainless twits...........I will just add them to my 'blocked numbers' list and they will receive a message stating 'the party you are calling is not accepting calls from this number'.
Multiple calls per day, just dead air when answered. If you answer and get dead air too file an FCC complaint and mark it as an "abandoned" call.

Yep. This is Discover Card. They have already called our business 2 times this morning in 1 hour or so. They ask for crazy names...made up names. then when told that person doesn\'t work here, the caller goes into a spill about \" well let me speak to the decision maker for the company.\" LMAO! Sure...right!
No decision makers in this office, call the home office across the pond.
I\'m waiting for the 3rd call, then I think i WILL FORWARD THEM back INTO THEIR OWN NUMBER.

5 calls in 2 days - no messages
Called them back to remove my number. They asked for my number (no caller ID?) I gave it. They then wanted to ask me questions, first was "Do you have a business". I asked how the answer related to my request to be removed. She then went into a script of up to 30 days to remove my number, that I may received calls during that time, that the request did not mean that all calls would be eliminated, and wanted to send me a privacy policy, would I provide an address? (NO!) Bye!

I've been getting at least 3 calls a day from this number...it is Discover Business Card. If you call the number back, they will remove your number from their list.
Have received multiple calls. Caller ID says Toll Free Call.
Unknown Name on CID. Caller hung up as soon as I answered; rude & unacceptable.
