How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

From looking at our report, it looks like this number hasn't called for a few years. I do not believe for my call that it is American Family. They call me directly when they want to do a review etc. and I've never had them call for anything else. This called on a Saturday morning at a fairly early time for a weekend telemarketer but machine kicked on and it went half way through the message and then hung up. I have been getting so many "unknowns" etc. recently and it is irritating as of course they are always at a time when it is no convenient or when someone is expecting someone to call. At least this had a number on caller ID. I have had several repeats from "unknown name" with no phone numbers on ID. I don't know how one can handle those!
Caller ID comes up as 'unavailable'. No messages left. They have been trying to call over the past couple of weeks.
This is American Family Insurance and they want me to contact our agent to see if we have the insurance we need. It is NOT a pressure call.

I get calls from this number all the time. No messages. I screen my calls and am on the do not call list. Don't know who it is and wish that they would stop calling
I picked up on this call and the person on the other end said he was calling on behalf of my auto insurance agent who he named. He asked for me by name. I said I was not there but would be back later that evening. The caller then said he would try another time. This number has been calling me for a week.
Don't know who this is, don't care. We DO NOT answer calls from numbers we don't know.

This number has been calling my home phone for over 2 months. Don't answer since I screen calls. Comes up Toll Free. No message is ever left. They call during the day and into the evening hours. I'm on the Do Not Call List and have call blocking. So much for that.

They keep calling, but do not leave a message, so I block this number. Caller ID only has the phone number as Out Of Area.
