How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Calls all day long sometimes seven to ten times a day, even after you answer. It's harassment - plain and simple

DELL FINANCIAL SERVICE Calling for someone with same name as me but different middle. calls at least 10 times a day i answer everytime and tell them to remove me from there list. They say they do. One more time I'm reporting them
I called and got a message that said "Thanks for calling Dell. Unfortunately, the party you are trying to reach is not available."
I get DOZENS of calls from Dell's Financial Svcs where the cust svc is ALMOST as "good" as their Tech Support (in Bangalore INDIA) where they seldom understand what you are trying to tell them!!
Dell,I was a little late on a payment...but I never would have known that it was them if I hadn't checked here. It's unknown on caller id and they never leave a message.

Persistent and continue to call for at least a day after recieving payment.
The calls continue even if I called to ask for erasing my name from their list.
I've been receiving a call from 866-206-6644. It's just anoying and its being consuming my cell minutes.
Dell continues to call after receiving payment and notice of a payoff from a transfer. Very irritating.
Wow, this is a great site. They called me, Yep I'm late, but I've consolidated their debt on to a card with 7% interest. Just waiting for them to get the payment.

It's an automated bill collector. They're persistent, but only because you're late
