How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Calling me multiple times a day asking for Carrie Evans. I told them at least 7 times that she doesn't live here, never has, and this is not her phone number. The girl always says that they won't bother us again, then calls back, often the same day.
A woman with a thick accent asked for my son by first name. Said that it was regarding a personal matter. Asked if he was home right now. Said that she needed to know if he was still taking his medication. Wanted my son to call them back... very odd.
i dont answer calls from unkown caller. i wish they would not call.
Called just before Noon on the 8/27, left a voice mail that consisted of an interval of heavy breathing and background noise, a long quiet period, an abrupt verbal regarding "... your call, thanks," a recorded prompt to leave a message at the tone, another long quiet, then a recorded announcement that my message was too short and the call disconnected.
Called twice now. First time they didn't leave a message. Second time they asked for me by name. Creeps me out when people won't say who they are...
