I work for citi bank and there call center in Kansas City I do apologize for all the phone calls to all consumers that have delinquent accounts with citi cards all the way to student loans debt. we follow the strict guide lines from the gov and we can not actually talk with that actual borrower more then once a week but can call up to three times a day until we reach the borrower. Statements are a courtesy to our costumers and citi really is looking for consumers to go online to view all statements as well as answers to questions... i only wish i knew why we dont send out statements, but its a high cost to the bank to send out statements but can send out delinquent notices lol I work in the High risk dept for student loans I am more then happy to work with any of you to help resolve questions comment concerns I love working for citi and really love to speak with all of you, i take care of alot of the defaults and bad debt as well has place hold on phone calls and help you get out of debt with the programs that are offered now and the new programs that the gov just gave to us!! I do feel your pain on the phone calls and they are a nuisance, has a collections rep want to help so let me know all questions in regards to citi bank or student loans!!!!!

Nah, it's not a porn site. Just a cool social site where guys show up and ask questions like what type of presents to buy on Valentines Day, gain some cool love advice, and basically how to approach and talk to women.

People take the time to answer, ask follow-up questions and seem to help me with whatever issue I'm dealing with as it it we're their own.

Thought maybe I'd start a thread here asking people what to talk about on the date, ideas on where to go, etc.

No company is legally allowed to contact a consumer past once a day. If they have 3 different numbers for you, they are legally allowed to call each but may only do so once.

This could be citicards, primerica, private bank, smith barney, citimortgage, citibusiness, citibank (deposit accounts), macy's, sears, home depot, private label oil, or other retail/gas credit cards. Just because you don't have a "citi" card doesn't mean citibank doesn't handle your credit card. I work there in citibusiness and one side of me is citigold and on the other side is smith barney representatives, and behind me is primerica I can hear them when they make calls. This particular call center has dozens of separte departments. And we have call centes in tampa fl, florence ky, san antonio tx, tucson az, sioux falls sd, manila phillipines, dallas tx.... not to mention dozens of back office support centers that sometimes make calls about urgent matters.

I think that it's a credit card company, probably CITICARD. I didn't pick it up, and they didn't leave a message.

This is a Citibank number- they have a call center in Florence KY and this is who is calling

I got a call this morning from 859-283-8072. They did not leave a message. The caller ID read Florence, KY. I looked the number up after the call ended. After I found out the number has called others I picked up the phone and dialed *60 to block the call. It tells you that call blocker is off (for that particular number since it wasn't blocked before) but then gives instructions to dial #01# if I wanted to block it. So far this has worked and it's free. We haven't been charged. It beats not having the annoying phone calls!

Citi Bank called to offer me a lower rate on my Citi Bank Card. Called several times on my cell phone and my home number never left any messages. I called it back one day just to see why all the calls.

1-859-283-3673 is collections for Citi Bank. If they are calling, you should review US Code Title 15 Chapter 41. SUBCHAPTER V, particularly Sec. 1692c. Communication in connection with debt collection. Here are .gov links to the where this if formation is available to the public

Citicard debt collections trys to generate revenue off of past due accounts by calling the numbers of card holders. I, unfortunatley, am one of those cunts and I have good intentions however, my co-workers treat people like assholes. On be-half of the system, sorry.

This company called me 5 times in one day. No message. No one there when I picked up. Try to call back..it is a fax 859-283-8072 I cannot wait to pay this card off. I am also on this account but they won't talk to me. I am sending a letter to see if they will quit calling!!

Weird Woman wanting a person who does not live here. We've gotten millions of calls over the past three weeks, no message is ever left and when I answered the only one time, no one answered until I said "hello" four times. Stupid. See ya dogz!

I am on the national DO NOT CALL registry for both home and cell phones, they called me on my cell phone

THEY CALL FROM ALL SORTS OF NUMBERS 816-420-1168 859-283-3673 505-797-6327 904-954-1095... SOMETIMES ONE AFTER THE OTHER. (I THINK THEY ARE THE SAME OUTFITS) I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THEY REALLY ARE FROM CITIBANK/CITICORP/CITGROUP. WHO HASN'T USED CITIBANK AT LEAST ONCE ANYWAYS? I HAVE ZERO BALANCE WITH THEM SO IF THEY ARE REALLY CALLING FOR SOMETHING IMPORTANT, THEY WILL LEAVE A MESSAGE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND BURNING UP MY BATTERY ON MY CELL PHONE. Just signed up for a GrandCentral account and they keep calling for the person that had the number previously. They called from their other number this morning and I told them that they had the wrong number. They called from this number an hour later and I called back. I was asked for an account number and when I told them I did not have an account with them registered with this number and to remove me from their list they hung up. If they call again GrandCentral will give them a number not in service message. Scummy collection agencies.

I received a voicemail. A computer asked me to hold, then someone picked up and shouted my first name. He promptly hung up. I am a Citibank customer.

Had one from this number and one from 816-420-1168. Missed both calls but they're from Citibank, I'm sure, but don't leave message and don't hear anything when I do answer.

Rude female asking for my husband, when I ask to leave a msg. she said"no msg." Then I looked up the number, WE are on the DO NOT CALL LIST. But like everything else we have no rights...Calls keep coming!!!

They called me at 9:00 on a Sunday morning. When I called them back, they asked for my social security number, my account number, and my phone number. I then called Citibank and they told me that it's one of their collection numbers and that my bill was due on the 20th. Nice of them to send me a bill! And it's only 6 days late!!

This is Citi Cards collections. They are allowed to call you six times per day, per number they have on file. Regardless of whether or not you're on the no call list(as it's not a solicitation call). They usually don't leave messages b/c they are not supposed to call for two days if they do. The reason you get a recording is because they operate from an automated dialer which transfers the call to a representative when you pick up. I used to work there. best thing to do is talk to them and get as much information as possible, including the address to the correspondence office. Then send in a letter saying you want no more calls and will only conduct business via mail. Once they get the letter and process it, it should stop the calls.

I have gotten calls from this number on my cell and home line.

this number and another number started calling me a few days ago (on the same day to) and call at the very least 3 times a day each... i dont do any business with citibank or citi- anything, so why do they keep calling me... i havent answered, and by reading everyones posts i dont plan on answering... this is ridiculous...

called me at 8:26am...luckily my calls were forwarded to a voice mail. No message. ** But, selective call rejection is a wonderful thing. THEY'RE BLOCKED NOW!

They have called our home business line and our home line all times of the day and evening. We don't have a deliquent account with them either. They don't leave a msg on the home machine and when they call the office line during the day for my other half, they won't leave even a call back number.

We are not deliquent with CitiBank. Also, if they are so damned interested in "collecting" from us, why don't they A) leave a message, or B) send us a bill? REASON: we don't owe them money and they want to sell us some service we don't want!

I've received numerous calls from this number over the last 2 weeks. The company identifies itself as "Citicards", and ask to speak to someone with the last name "Kumar". I've told them they have the wrong number, and was assured that my number has been removed from their system, but the calls keep coming. This company also uses the number 816-420-1168.

Called 3 times in as many hours. On National DO NOT CALL LIST. What is with these companies. Do they not check the list.

I had a second cell phone line that was disconnected for 8 months. I started receiving calls from this number 2 times a day 3 days after I activated a new phone on that line.

DO NOT FORGET to register your phone on donotcall.gov and file a complaint every time you received a call. That saved me from a lot of calls on my land line.

This is a collection agency for CitiCards.

They were calling me at work and i noticed a posting from a guy kevin on this website from another debt collector redline recovery and the guy said to go to adviceontime.com to get info. I was shocked because that website does have a lot of good info and its free, they dont even require you to register or anything. i tried one of the letters and they havent called me! I hopes it works for you guys too. They also had awesome advice on buying a car!

Citibank - they say someone other than myself left this number by mistake.

the caller who identified herself as Barbie, was calling about my citibank mastercard account. she advised me my account was delinquent 20 days in the amount $28.36 and this did NOT include the $29 assement for "non payment last month. i advised her the recurrent calling, 5 calls over 2 business days, were upsetting and freightening me. she feels she this legal, i feel it is a form of intimidation and agrivated harassment. i will make my complaint to the local police.

The do not call list does not apply if you do business with that company. its citibank and they want there money

I'm pretty sure it's Citibank collections.

They call several times a day, 7 days a week from 8 AM to 9 PM for the past several months and I'm sick of it! Today they called my cell phone. My husband has a Citibank account from BEFORE we were married. My cell phone is in no way connected with my husband's account or Citibank! THIS HAS GONE BEYOND HARRASSMENT! And yes, all of our phones are on the Do Not Call list. I refuse to answer and they don't leave a message!

This number calls me at least 4 to 5 times a day and I want it to stop. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!

Citi bank financial, possibly debt collection

They call every single day, 2 - 3 times a day with a recording. Our number is on the national do not call list. For sure I will not deal with Citycard

Received 8 calls from this number and not 1 msg was left. 6 calls occurred on Sunday Dec. 17, 2006 btwn 11am and 10 pm. recieved two more calls on Monday, December 18, 2006 btwn 6:30 and 9am

This is Citicards calling, more like harassing. Before this number started calling me, I used to get calls from a 954 area code from Citicards.

They wont say anything when I answer.

I got this call twice today Aug 30. I am on the national do not call list. I have a florida number.

Citicard collections - they claim they are legally able to call up to six times a day.... :-O

I have been getting calls from this number, sometimes a few times a day. Sometimes as early as 6am in the morning and even on weekends. Granted, my phone is an east coast number even though I currently live in CO.

Called me 08/26/2006. I am on the national do not call list.

This number called me on july 18,23,25,/Aug 15,14,18, twice on 8/11 and twice on 8/13
Did not answer because did not recognize the number and it said out of area.
