I have been receiving many calls from this number, and a spanish speaking recorded message answers. If I ignore the call they do not leave a message. It happens several times a day and it is very irritating. HELP!

Called at 9:56AM PDT. Did not answer. My advice would be not to answer. If every phone they ring refuses to answer that phone number, it defeats whatever purpose they have. I would assume they would get bored after awhile with no one answering their cell phones when they see these numbers on their caller ID.

Do Not Call and government complaints won't help; this call is initiated from a computer, and enters the phone network through a VoIP gateway, not a phone line. The scammer can make the displayed number look like any number in the world, so even the area code is probably wrong. And best of all... there's almost no way to trace this and nab the guy.

I got this call at 8:25am in the morning but I did not answer. They called me on my boost mobile phone.

Received four calls from this number between 5/22 to 5/28 on my work cell. Really annoying cuz from 5/11 to 5/21, the calls were coming from 859-212-1501.

After getting a call from these idiotas in Spanish I called Pac West, the provider of this phone service. I was told that this is not their number, and someone is spoofing the number on their automatic dialout system. They told me to contact Cingular, and Cingual will block the number when there are enough complaints.

It's some sort of thank you message and offering some award for being a Verizon subscriber, I think. I didn't really listen to the message although I do speak spanish. Many times these messages are directed towards people with Spanish surnames. I've received the call twice I am on the do not call list.

Two calls received from 859-212-1502, 05/25 & 05/29/07. No msg was left, and no one said a thing when I answered the last call. I filed complaints on both calls with the gov't do not call web registry. Apparently it doesn't matter what cell phone carrier you have (Verizon) whoever is calling doesn't care. 859 is a Boone, KY area code. When calling it back it states it's a non working number. Out of state people can't use the KY no call site. Use the donotcall.got site.

Same thing with me. Here's the list of events that may or may not be related. Last weekend, I emailed a 8 senators to give them my opinion on illegal immigration. For the record, I oppose it. The very next day, I got a call from this number. Caller ID said "Kentucky". I don't know anyone in Kentucky so I didn't bother to answer it. The 1st call was on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday that number called again, and again I ignored it. Finally I answer it this morning and got the spanish recording.

Like I said, I have no idea IF the 2 are related; my emails to the senators and this phone call. What I do know is that I don't believe in coinsidences too often.

I noticed that some of you say that you have Verizon Wireless. I am using AirVoice Cellular, a pay-as-you-go plan; but, at the bottom of my faceplate is a small panel with the Verizon logo on it. It sounds like someone's gotten into Verizon's database somehow or someone at Verizon is selling the numbers on their datatbase.

rang my cell phone at 8:51AM PDT. Taken by VM. By my observation, I think they are checking to see if the cell numbers are working numbers. If you answer, they have no reason to talk to you, they just want to know if the number is "live". If they get your VM, then just as good an indication that the number is being used.

Ever since I called in for picks on a basketball game to a local radio station I have been getting these BS calls. They usually come from a different number which I have posted on this site before. Now they come from this 859-212-1502 number. I decided to post here cause I see there is already a large number of complaints for this number. I missed the call (luckly) and the only voice mail that was left was of them disconnecting. These call originate when you call an advertised number for whatever reason (Event tickets, sports info etc...) Just my 2 cents.

I got my first call on 05/18 at 5:04pm, second on on 05/21 at 4:36pm and I answered it and it was in Spanish. I tried to call back and I got a phone ringing til it went to a fast busy. Got my third call today 05/22 at 2:16pm and again it was all in Spanish. I, too am listed on the Do Not Call Registry and getting frustrated with these calls. called my cell phone several times but left no message. Called back but get a fast busy signal.

Have been recieving calls to my cell phone from this number. No message left. I'm on a National no call list.

I'm getting calls from this number and don't like it... what is going on?

I have recieved 3 calls already today (I go through this almost every day) and now it's BEYOND annoying. 859-212-1501 calls, then a little while later, 1502 calls...I don't answer b/c it's pointless. Does anyone know if you can block numbers from your phone?

they called me. same story. will report. Also received calls from Asian people at all times of the night with a 401 area code I think. I reported this to T Mobile.
More people who call to complain they will put a stop to it.

Look I have been getting calls from this number every 3 days 2 times a day in the morning afternooon and evening. All spanish when I used to answer and no you cant call them back. You can have the your number put on the NDC reg. and report them. Like I did. Good luck, also if its at work just add the number to your phone book and put no ring no vibe.

They did not leave a message. when I called back- there wasa busy signal which led me to believe that it was spam. But we are paying for these minutes...

Called me twice already

These guys have been calling for the last 3 weeks at least twice a day. It's a recording announcing in Spanish that I won something, I never stand to get to the end of the message.

I kept trying to call it back with office number and my cell but it just hung up, did a busy tone or the call did not go through.

I get a call from this # about once a week. Doesn't anybody speak Spanish so we can know what the automated message is saying? Then maybe we can track it down.

What's odd is they have my husband's MILITARY standby phone and sure enough, last night he got a call from this number. Attempted to call back, but got the same, "Call cannot go through" message.

I'm in Cali with Cingular. Calls from 1501 and 1502 came to my cell phone on 5/1 and 4/26. I am not registered on the DNC list. Did not answer incoming call.
