How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:

They call repeatedly ! They have been asked and told to stop yet they continue !
After a dozen calls in three days, I answered and found it was the a solicitation for the Alzheimer Assocaition.
I have been getting these calls at least twice a day for the last couple of weeks. I look at Caller ID, so I never answer. Very annoying.
Recieved 2 calls within 20 minutes. Like everyone else, I am tired of telemarketers and scam artists. I answered the second call and blew my air horn into the receiver....so far no more calls!! Get an air horn. The local Dollar Tree has been selling them.....very useful!
just received a call from them for the fifth time this week -- lady identified herself as Heather from "a professional fundraiser from Winchester, Virginia".
Called # and no identification...just "leave msg"...told them to remove my # from their call list!
855 area code appears to be one that charges to receive calls when checking on the call. Enter the phone number in a web search and find multiple sites for checking numbers with comments.
10/31/2011...Called once left no message then hung up.
Called once last night just before 9PM and left no message. Called three times next morning - no message first two times. I answered third time and person identified himself as National Diabetes Fund. When I said I was not interested, he abruptly hung up.
Mon 8/29/11 9:34am. Rang twice before I picked up and they hung up. I called the number back and only got a recording "to leave a message....."
I received two calls 2011-08-25. Caller ID showed "unavailable". They called twice in one hour and hung up as soon as I answered.
These idiots called this morning 3 time within an hour. I saw somewhere else that when the recipient of the call did answer, a woman reluctantly said she was calling from the Veterans something or the other (they could understand what she was saying).
