How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.

Did not leave message first time. Second time I answered, robo caller
call came in when I was not able to pick up phone. No voice message left by these perps.
Everyone should get caller ID. I am glad I spend the extra money.
I have been receiving one or two calls daily for the past several days from this number with a caller IS of "NAME NOT FOUND". I do not answer. I hate scammers.
After several calls and complaints through AT&T, it appears that while the calls are being placed through a "remote switch" in the Dominican Republic, their origin has been Vietnam, China and Singapore. They further state not only is it a scam but the originator(s) are currently under investigation for possible fraud and misleading statements.
IT SAID -- NAME NOT FOUND
They hung up after 2 rings. Hope they try again, it's now Blocked---like I know someone in the Dominican Republic?!?!

The voice message went like this "If you are a senior and suffer from diabetes or back pain, press 1 to see how are you qualified for healthcare products, at no cost to you. If you are not a senior suffering from diabetes or back paid or would like your name removed from this list, press 2." After no response there was the message, "Hold on for the next available agent." The voice of a woman with a strong accent answered quickly saying, "Hello, hello, hello, hello" and the call ended. This is a telemarketer scam call from the Dominican Republic. They probably want your SS # from Medicare to get you these "free" drugs.
Called but left no message on machine. The area code is assigned to the Dominican Republic. From other postings this is definitely a scammer. Other numbers beginning 849-963-48nn also seem to be used.
RoboCall claiming to discuss Social Security and diabetes
I called my service provider and the rep said it might come up as Vietnam in an effort to "mask" the callers true location. Not sure how they pull that one off but they did.
I tried blocking this call through my service provider and was not able to. This is the first number I was not able to block. I'm guessing the area code is the Dominican Republic. I'm not sure why my service provider is showing it as coming from Vietnam.
849 is coming up as the Dominican Republic.
When I checked "call history" with my service provider the location was shown as Vietnam.
